yes when all lubed up (first time wet jelqing tonight) I start right at the very base and find that the skin still gets pulled up around the head making it hard to do.

I found i had to hold the skin around the pubic region with my other hands two fingers (around the base of my cock) to stop this from happening. Does anyone else do this?

Is this a sign to losen my grip?

Doesn't matter if the skin gets on the head that way as long as You're not stretching it. Use a slick enough lube, it will minimize the problem. I used a water-based sex lube when I PE'd and it worked very well for me (not circumcised), very slick... and when it dried up, a few drops of water were enough to slide well again. Easy to clean too. So, if You feel like the skin is stretching too much, try some other lube. Good luck, Sir!

Right as Bobo says it dosnt matter. The only thing that does with a jelq is what goes on inside the penis unless you are stretching the skin, which shouldnt matter much either. And yes holding the base is fine and i do it at times. I actually have a set of jelqs where i hold with my right and do 10 jelqs left and the swtch around. It actually gives a better feeling i think.
