View Full Version : Flaccid Increase as Rest Indicator

My question concerns the flaccid gains I have scene. No length gains yet (not as concerned with that) but similar to what other people have said in the vein of "looks thicker," "feels heavier," just generally larger looking when I'm walking around.
However, I don't see this increase the day after I workout. It usually takes 2-3 days for me to see this. Does anyone opine that this may be an indicator that I should be taking 2-3 days off between each exercise? (considering it looks like I don't see the flaccid improvement for that period of time)
Also, what is the likelihood that I would see flaccid gains but not erect gains (especially in girth)?
On an unrelated topic, when you all are doing your wet jelqs, do you put enough pressure that you feel a "slight" bit of discomfort? And when I say "slight" I mean "slight," like maybe a little more sensation than just feeling an increase of pressure? Or is this too much?

You should "listen" to how it feels, because it should feel completely healed before the next session. Taking 2-3 days off is one option, and the other is a lighter routine that takes 1-2 days to heal from. Flaccid gains always comes first, and then later erect gains. Seeing flaccid gains is a good sign.

Bobo I saw that you're routine only had 5 minutes of wet jelqs, how many wet jelqs would you usually get in during a session?

Hmm... You must remember wrong. After the warmup and some stretches I jelqed for about five minutes first, and then another five minutes with a ~30 sec hold after every minute (stay away from holds if You're a beginner). I never counted jelqs and really can't say how many I did, but I made sure every single one of them were good quality. Nobody can give You a ready routine that would work 100% because for example 100 jelqs can be alot for one and not much for another because of their different jelqing techniques. To make sure You're jelqing correctly, the only way is to really study how the blood flows in the tissue, and to really understand what a jelq is supposed to do. Many PE'rs are wasting loads of time rushing into PE'ing without enough background work, and their jelqing technique may do nothing else than move the skin. The key is to really add more inner blood pressure to expand the volume of the blood chambers. That doesn't mean the jelqs would be very intense, because a little adjustment in the grip strength or speed can make a huge difference. Do Your homework, then set up a routine... and start experimenting. Stay with a routine for a full month, and if it's not working, then change it. Remember that adding more and more intensity isn't necessarily the key to start gaining because the most common error is overtraining in my opinion. It may sound and feel weird to take more days off and/or reduce the intensity of the routine to start gaining, but trust me: it's usually the case. Because if You don't heal enough between sessions, You'll end up "ripping the old wounds open" and that means no gains. Good luck with Your PE-career, Sir, and never give up. If one can gain, anybody can.

Well, I try to make every jelq count, but I want to make sure I'm putting enough pressure on it. When you did what you considered a "good jelq," what type of sensation did you feel? Did it feel like slight pressure, slight discomfort?

A very slight "discomfort" yes, something that can't be described using the word "pain" at all. The correct level of erecton, enough blood in the shaft (but not hard) and the feeling of pressure... the pressure in the shaft slowing the jelqing motion as the blood flows through the ok-grip. I used kegels to adjust the amount of blood in the shaft... takes some practice but You'll know when they're good or not, just experiment and learn.

Hmmmmm. I probably am asking something you have answered before, but how many days do you currently take off and what exercises do you do? Girth gains are the slowest. I doubt you see any without length first. It could happen, just not likely. Its not necessary though to wait till you get the pump. Kegels should help get the bloodflow into your penis abit better which will aid in the veiny look but you dont need to wait for it if it takes a couple of days before PE ing again. Just try some kegels and see if it helps get the blood flowing quicker to see that pump sooner. I know the pump is good for motivation. Goodluck to ya.

SLowlybutsurely,
Check for other signs of change, pubic hair further upshaft, and thicker at base.
If it feels healthy and hangs better, you are probably heading down the right path. If it isn't getting hard as easily as normal you might be doing too much. I know I have a tendency of overtraining, so watch out for that one. Overtraining has stopped my gains for weeks at a time. Within several days of not overtraining I measured gains.
And don't loose heart, it will grow. Good luck.

I honestly like doing every other day or 5x2. I have got the best results from these.

Personally I like 3 on 1-2 off or 5 on 2 off. i feel the need to have intense workouts before taking the rest period

It seems the response to PE differs for everyone so there is no way to tell how your penis will react.
