Hi guys,

I've just got back to PEing after a two week break, not out of laziness but because I was experiencing a dull ache along the right side of my penis, just in the shaft, not the head, the centre of the pain being about an inch and a half from the base. At the time I did a search for injuries on the beginners forum and one piece of advice I came across that made sense was to give it a rest for two weeks.

Well, I did and have just this past week resumed my routine, every other day: 5 mins hot wrap, 5 mins stretching, 10 mins jelq, 5 mins hot wrap and 250 kegels. (I think this is the newbie routine from Thunders Place.)

Ball-bustingly I'm still getting the same pain. I'm no expert but it feels like it might be a nerve problem, since I can even feel the pain extend into my groin and down my right leg, a dull throbbing ache.

I just want to know if this is the kind of injury that's really serious so I should immediately desist PEing otherwise I'll do irreparable damage to my fella. Or the kind that has to be worked around: take it easy, maybe massage the area before and after, a few stretches and eventually I'll move past it.

Anyone who knows about this kind of stuff, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the best plan of action.

Ta,

Al

im certainly no expert here - im only new, but it sounds to me that you might have pulled a muscle or something,, if your experiencing the pain trough the groin and down the leg.. maybe cut back on the amount of kegels your doing?? can anybody else verify my point? as for it being a nerve i guess its possible but in my opinion (which as i said is not well experienced!) it sounds like a muscle..

Oh yeah! Didn't think of that, have been going rather heavy on the kegels and the area I feel some of the pain in is around where the PC muscle is.

Much better if it is a muscle problem than a nerve problem then, I'm assuming.

Thanks a lot for your advice, I'll cut back on the kegelling for a bit.
