I've been jelqing for about a month now and I'd say it's going pretty good, I just have a few questions. I currently do 40 -45 min sessions every other day.

My first question is , are my sessions sufficient enough for optimal growth?

My second question is, when you jelq do you pull outward or downwards toward your feet?

Next, I have alot of skin down there so when I jelq my hand doesn't slide that much no matter how much lube I use, and by the time i reach my head it's coverd by the skin. Is that okay?

Next, is it better to jelq while standing or sitting? I currently do it both ways.

And lastly, I rarely have enough privacy to exercise, so I wait til everyones sleep and thats pretty late(2 am). Is it okay to exercise before you go to sleep for the night?

I know its alot, but I'd appreciate any help you vets could give me.

40-45 minutes of JELQING sounds a like it's too much. I spend about 30 minutes doing my exercise, but that's because I don't go straight through, and spend a lot of time re-warming up.

You pull outwards when you jelq

I am uncircumsized too, and I don't think it matters that much. However if it's getting COMPLETELY covered, maybe you're jelqing at too LOW an erection.

I jelq while standing, but I think it's just a preference, whichever you prefer.

I don't think doing it late is a problem, unless you have trouble sleeping afterwards =)

thanks 4 the input. i appreciate it, although i was expecting a little more feedback. Oh and I'm cut, so I guess its the erection? One more thing, is it bad to pull down toward your feet when jelqing? i switch it up now, but i wanna be sure. I dont want to hurt myself. Thanks slowly.

My experience is you need to do whats comfortable for you. Put your jelqs into reps and then measure your time that way. IE. if you do a jelq per second then you do approx 60 per minute. 1 every 2 secs is 30 per minute. The faster you go the more you get in and the slower you go the less you get in. Follow? So you can see now that by saying 45 min it is really dependant on the speed of the jelq. Beginners usually start at 150 - 200 jelqs and work up week by week adding approx 20 per week. So first month 200 second 300 third 400 etc. Although going above 400 is probably going into overtraining. As far as your technique goes if you find that it works for you then go for it. You will be able to feel if its working or not. The key is not to over do it and hurt yourself.
