View Full Version : Who are they?

This is inspired purely by the fact that I am consumed by boredom. And also because of the fact that we have had, I believe; one thread within the last few days.

I am curious as to how people see each other here at CC. I would like to play a sort of game, I suppose, in which we choose a person and three people describe what kind of person they think that person is. I will start it off, and anyone who wants to participate can follow my lead.

Bobo.

I get the impression that Bobo is a hardworker. He seems to be a nice guy as well. He also seems to be physically fit; due to all of the running that he does.

Simple. It may seem kind of "gay." But it is something to talk about. And it will help us learn how people view others.

Remember, two more people need to talk about Bobo.

I see Bobo as a gentle soul who thinks of others before himself. If I didn't know better, I'd say he's a Cancer. They are known for being very tuned into others. He has a kind and wise way about him. He enjoys the finer things in life yet is conflicted because of how complicated life can be. There is an unresolved dilemma within.

(Man, that all sounds pretty gay, doesn't it)?

Wise but not in the way he has all the answers as like Artee says, he askes plenty of questions himself. Very caring and considerate. Fairly confident and one of those people who, if they say they will do something, THEY WILL DO IT!

OK...I nominate Valk as the next victim..err...person to be discussed.

Bobo
6th July 2005, 09:48 PM
Valk, hmm... He seems to be one of the good ones at heart, and I believe we could be good friends in reality. He feels very strongly about things, and is very vulnerable when things get personal (as so many of us are). Good sense of humor... sometimes a bit confusing but once I've learned to know him better (as well as CC lets me), the misunderstandings we sometimes had are now history. Keeps his distance to people, but I believe that if/when he lets someone close enough (doesn't happen often I believe) the bond will be strong and lasts for a lifetime. Still very young and needs to get stronger, and with time he will... after that, after he gets on his both feet and grows a thicker skin, he will do great things in life.

zwmusic
6th July 2005, 11:19 PM
Valk is above all a rebel. He is rebellious aginst most of the "pre-concived" ideas in your 20th century society (which I totally back him). I get the feeling he hasn't yet found his place in this world in terms of his self assertion as an intellectually productive person. He has an inquiring mind and is very much willing to learn from people, even people he has never seeing in his life. This trait gives him a very special aura as a humble and wise person. Valk cannot accept cliches and rightfully agues against that. He can be very emotional and touchy dispite his sense of humor which somehow covers it up (this sensitivity to what is going on around him). I like him very much (no gay intentions here). We also had your little clash but that's perfectly normal, happens to anyone.

I had a girlfriend with this star sign... hmmmmmmmmmmm... difficult people.

I see Valk as a funny individual. Alot of the stuff that he says keeps me cracking up for minutes. But, I have also seen his insecure side, which we all have. I know he likes music and he says that he plays a few instruments, I believe. Yet he does not really share any of his music with us. (In no way am I trying to say that he is lying, just that he is very introverted, when it comes to disclosing how he feels about whatever subjects he has written or played about.

This is interesting.
Next; I nominate The CLockmeister. What do you guys think of him?

wern
7th July 2005, 05:56 AM
Clocks: has a small circle of friends that he is close to and thats it.
Either works for a big company where he sits in a small cubicle, or for a micro business (ie 1 or two employees). Either way it is one of those jobs where you are a cog in a machine.
Probably has a wierd sense of humor but is mostly very mature.

And he is planning to take over the world.

wern
7th July 2005, 06:07 AM
bug:

Young. small build. Earns a modest income. Probably latino. Maybe a little too nice to chicks (and in my world some women - aka bitches - take advantage of nice guys). bug seems like a dreamer, and perhaps he will realise his dreams in the future.

How close am I bug?? :mrgreen

wern
7th July 2005, 06:08 AM
Bobo - has wisdom, but has also done silly things in the past and probably has regrets. Dwells on the past perhaps more than he should. Still young at heart even if he doesn't think so.

Bobo:Engaging, Warm, sensitive, humanitarian, sense of humour, serious, good advisor, good assessment skills, problem solver, loves frienship, skeptical about relationships/marriage(from experience), fitness freak.

Valk
Serious, funny, self conscious(overly so sometimes), straight forward, likeable, sensitive, helpful

Clocks: Friendly, wacky, sense of humour, hard worker, advisor.

'TheBugKahuna'
7th July 2005, 06:20 AM
Close Wern. Except I wouldn't say I have a small build. What made you say that I am latino?

Come on guys stick to the rules.

Three people describe one person, and then someone nominates someone else. That way it stays structured and three people "have" to say something about that person. So since we went slightly out of order (I apologize for being anal, if that is how I come off).

If one more person can describe Clocks and then two more me :D :puke: , I would appreciate it.

'TheBugKahuna'

And that part about taking over the world, Wern. Genius, pure genius.

wern
7th July 2005, 08:08 AM
Bug, I can't remember the logic, but from reading your posts over time there must have been one point where logic pointed me there. Dunno if I am right about it. And I can't remember the logic, I can just remember the result of the logic - latino/hispanic. Am I right?

Shane_Bos
7th July 2005, 10:03 AM
I apologize for being anal, if that is how I come off.

Bug is an anal type of guy who like rules and a leads a structured life... Only joking mate. I dont really know you too well so i'll let someone else have a go. This view on bug is a void!

Clockie: has preserved his "inner child" so well that he doesn't seem to be even close to 40, not on the inside or the outside. A very warm and caring person with a great sense of humor, almost impossible to insult because he can take it all with a wide smile on his face. Extremely vivid imagination, and propably one of the biggest reasons for the fact that I believe he's truly happy with his life. He finds exciting things on almost anything in life with his child-like attitude (which is admirable), and his quest for the fountain of youth is enough to bring a smile to just anyones face, in a good way. Propably a lot smarter than he lets us think...  We all have alot to learn from his attitude towards life, his skill to enjoy life every day is something that will ensure him a long life. That's how I see him through CC, and I truly hope he really is as happy as he lets us believe.

zwmusic
7th July 2005, 08:09 PM
Like his rep says, Clockie is a splendid one to behold. Since he joined CC I actually never saw him getting really crossed about anything. This positive attitude towards life must be the recipe for his young look. From what I read from him, I can say that he is indeed very good at heart and I wish him all the very best because he deserves. Having said that, I sometimes wonder why he somehow skips going into any depth whatever the subject is... for it shows that he doesn't really allow himself to get much closer to anyone.

Thanks again for the kind words/thoughts it means alot.

I'am sometimes afraid to let people in to deep they may find some'thing in me that would cause them to dislike me and i couldn't have that happen, friends are to important to lose. :(

Life is like a sand'wich it's up to you to fill it with what ever you like, some like peanut'butter and some like ham, (me) i like everything that is good in all of us, dreams,happieness,love,kindness..

It's like remember when you were a child, now remember that most happy/peace'ful time you ever had in life, close your eye's and imagine you are back in time at that very moment, it's a good feeling to have.

Just because you don't Have nor ever will, just cause you don't need nor ever will, just cause (means nothing) life won't meet you hafe way you must take it whole.. :cool

I can't really comment much on his personality (because he hasn't got any... just kidding wern  ) because I don't know wern really that well. The image I get from him through CC is that wern is a relaxed, sociable fella. Doesn't take things too seriously and has always a clear minded oppinion about various issues. If he's still studying, he must be very good in his class but he seems to be the type of guy who doesn't want to stick out too much, rather observe and take what's good for him. Did I say too much nonsense wern?

'TheBugKahuna'

Oh well, every now and then I get things right for a change. :)

Now... ha! this one I want to see... who's going to go first. Godma.

Bobo
10th July 2005, 09:08 AM
Godma: An intellect man, and he knows it. Propably very good looking and "gets the girls" easily, and he knows that too. A bit selfish (=full of himself) and sometimes a bit rude with people he doesn't know too well like us at CC, but propably much friendlier among his "real" friends. Has a good sense of humor, which I didn't get at first... did lead to some conflicts in the past, but later on as I got more used to his comments, I've learned he's got a great sense of humor. Says what he thinks, straight to the face... which is both a positive and a negative thing depending on the occasion. Keeps his distance to maintain his "cloak of mystery", and that's why it's quite difficult to "analyze" him this way. If this seems very negative, then I'm sorry... didn't mean to offend. Just the image in my head, can't help it.

Oh, and he loves mafia films like the Godfather, and that's something we have in common. :cool

Clockers

Propably very good looking and "gets the girls" easily, and he knows that too.

How could you possible know if he's goodlooking or not by reading his posts?

Bobo
10th July 2005, 12:14 PM
This isn't stating facts, this is analyzing people based on their posts. How would I know? Just a guess... he seems like one of those sort of "arrogant" (too strong word but I don't know any better) ones who gets the girls, and knows it. Just a guess, Valkie, only a guess.

As I said, this all is based on how we see them through their posts. So, if this seems offending, then whos fault is it? Not necessarily the truth, only an interpretation of one member that's all.

Valk
10th July 2005, 12:23 PM
I get what you mean now. If you're extremely confident (almost arrogant) it probably has a reason. And good looks could be a reason.

Valk
10th July 2005, 12:38 PM
I will skip Bobo because he's had too many compliments already.

Zwmusic: I believe Zwmusic has many different sides. One side is a very disciplined man, who needed this discipline to come as far in classical music as he has, and to take care of his children. But he also has an animal within him, that he lets out once in while.
He has gone through alot of bad shit and maybe still is, but he has always kept his spirit high. (atleast judging from the things he posts here)
I believe that although he has a rough life, he enjoys it. And I have a feeling that he, like me, is sometimes attracted to the darker side of life. Difficult to explain really.
All in all a very brave man and I think I even look up to him a bit.

zwmusic
10th July 2005, 01:19 PM

I'm very impressed, you're really observant.

I take that as the best compliment ever.

You got just about everything... the animal thing... that's so true.

Valk
10th July 2005, 01:43 PM
I like it how you combined two opposite life philosophies. On one hand the deep, profound way (with music, art etc.) and on the other hand a more lose, childlike way.
I see alot of people who fall more or less in one of those catagories, but far less people can be placed in both of them the same time.

zwmusic
10th July 2005, 01:45 PM
I would also like to comment on Godma.

When I first joined CC, Godma brought up this love and hate feeling in me straight away. I then adopted a cautious attitude towards him because I actually noticed that, despite his somewhat arrogant outlook, he seems to me a rather touchy person in some ways. He's very single minded and my guess is that whatever he achieved in his life is due to that. He rarely states his personal opinion and tends to leave people in a sort of an uneasy situation with his dry remarks and sometimes trenchant criticism, but I doubt he does that with this specific purpose. I feel that he doesn't quite understand why some people don't speak with real knowledge of cause and it does annoy him. He wouldn't comment on a subject if he's not 100% sure that he knows what he's talking about. I also believe that when someone earns his trust and friendship, that's for life and beyond. That's the image I have from Goddy.

Bobo
10th July 2005, 02:08 PM
Mr. ZW: From the first moment he joined CC, he hasn't posted anything weird or offending to anyone. I get this feeling he's extremely trustworthy, a man of his words. Just as Valk said, he must have gone through some bad shit in his life because everything he writes reflects the fact that he's a deep thinker and has loads of wisdom only life can give. I have high respect towards many members here, but if I would have to trust my life on someone here, it would definately be ZW. Anything he says, I believe 100% because that man can't lie, he may remain silent if needed but lie? I don't think so. Sort of a "father figure" here who often calms angry debates down with his wise comments, and I look up to the man.

I agree completely with the way that Bobo described Godma, but I won't say anything; it might get me in trouble.

Spike:

I know very little about this man, or whether he is even a man  . However, from what I have seen on CC he seems to be a succesfull person. Perhaps a celebrity, or someone that is watched by the camera. I have my suspicions as to who he may be. He seems to know alot about business and computers. So..business+computers= Bill Gates. Ha! I've figured it out...

Two more on el Spike-o.

Bobo
10th July 2005, 03:43 PM
Spike is a very easy going person, can handle any tough situation in his life with humor and positive attitude. Seems like a very friendly man, must be a good father to his kids (if he has any, can't remember...). An extremely good sense of humor, can twist any more or less serious topic to a joke without offending anyone. A good man to have around CC, brings a smile on my face almost every time he posts. Sort of keeping his distance too as Godma, doesn't reveal too much about himself. Hell... I don't even know if he's got a big dick or not, all I know is the fact that he has been PE'ing for a long time... He's the brains behind CC, as I understood he's the one that built this new CC around the new software. Matt would be in trouble without him...

Bill Gates... Good one, Bug!

Now seriously, he seems to me a mature (bloody old and decrepit)... damn, whenever I think of Spike this cheekiness posesses me, fingers tingle and a joke pops up. I'll try again. Spike sounds like a mature man who knows his shit and make good use of it. End of story.

TP is a funny guy. Difficult to say whether he uses CC to let out some of his obscure side or whether he just puts on an image to deceive everyone. He actually sounds like a very shy and introspective person who does not allow anyone to know basically anything about his real self. He likes to watch, and he takes notice of everyone's every move. Very content with life as well, it seems to me that he takes on a daily routine quite lightly and doesn't go on moaning about 'how bored he may be with life, work... whatever', he gets on and just do it. Quite supportive fella but doesn't express his personal opinion unless it's absolutely necessary. Seems to have a pretty comfortable life and cherish that as a result of his hard work. Don't really fancy an intellectual debate (I'm not calling you dull buddy) but would rather keep it light and sparkling as a cold beer on a hot summer day. Very good fella but doesn't hang out too much with the mates. Likes to keep his privacy and to have his space.

Too much rubbish ArTee?

Sounds good to me, ZW. Thank you.

Valk, that shot IS real food. No chemicals needed to make the food look good. Just a stylist to make it pretty. The key is to have massive quantities to sort through to find the best looking ones.

The big man from Texas. Oldie seems to be in control of his life, and isn't afraid to say what he thinks. He's propably very good in what he does for a living, and gets the job done. A good and loving head of the family, takes good care of his family. Strong enough both physically and mentally to face the ups and downs in his life, and doesn't fall on his knees under stress too easily. Before, he was sometimes almost too direct with his words, almost rude... but he's been getting softer recently, must be an age thing. I like Oldie very much, CC wouldn't be the same without him.

Right! Who's next... ArTee. :D
ArTee haven't told many personal things about himself, likes to keep his distance. Not sure if he's that way in his "real life" outside CC, propably not... difficult to say. Based on his posts, I get the image in my head of a good man who takes great pride in his profession as a photographer. ArTee has managed to find a job that he loves to do, and that makes him a happy man in so many ways. ArTee has got a few very good friends, and that's more than enough for him, not a man that enjoys big crowds. A good father if he's got a family. I'd like to know more about him, but I respect his choice of staying in the shadows CC-wise. An important part of our CC family, wouldn't feel the same without him.

 Well... "almost", because for those that didn't know him he felt rude as hell, but those who knew him learned to take it the right way. But' that was before, these days he's all soft and friendly.

Wow Bobo is a good judge of character.

My feelings about my Sensai, exactly.

I kind of like this thread, not least of all because it was started in July of '05 and I've become obessed with wallowing in nostalgia every chance I get.

Alright so who are we going to talk about first?

Hmmm, I dunno. Okay I'm not really gonna start if off because I barely know much about everyone. Its kinda ironic but this is an awesome thread.:puke: How about... just trying to get the flow going... Rum_Runner? The Thread Down... OoOoOoOhhh... I know! SANTANA!!!

I've always thought of Santana as a guy who sold icecream and used cd's on the side, has an outrageously posh pad for his job, and carries a comb around in his pocket.
