Hey there. Not to freak people out but i was just browsing Wikipedia when i figured to check out what they had for Jelqing. And in their brief comment on it they mentioned that some people argue against it saying that the gains from it are because it causes scar tissue in the penis which can read to penile problems .
Anyone care to respond ? Particularly anyone that's been doing it for years, got their gains, and is still happily pissing away problem free ?

I only know of one negative PE story, and that belongs to Soserious (and i think that was only loss of sensitivity). Other than that, i know of no other permanent problems anyone has experienced. And theres alot of long term PE'ers here.

Quite the opposite: better penile health in so many ways. You won't get scar tissue if You won't rip any cuts in the tissue... keeping it light and easy won't lead to any inner bleeding or scar tissue. It's a slow process, and the tissue stretches only a little at a time... shouldn't give any scar tissue IF You stay away from crazy exercises and stick to regular jelqing and stretching.

I had guessed that. If there had been problems i figured people like yourself who have been doing it for awhile would have said something.

A forum like this one with many long time members wouldn't be possible if PE'ing wouldn't work. CC is a living proof: this really works.

Problem is we don't know what the longterm side effects may be.

I'm having difficulties to believe that something that gives better erections and penile health "short term" would give negative long term side-effects. Overtraining is another thing, but it gives the negative effects immediately. Of course I can't know this 100% surely, but this is how I believe it is. We can keep on kegeling etc. for the rest of our lives, so I'm really finding it very difficult to believe that this would cause problems later in our life.

What about scar tissue?

There can only be scar tissue if the tissue gets bruised when PE'ing, and with careful PE'ing that shouldn't happen. Mad PE'rs with red spots and soreness all the time may have to deal with scar tissue, but nomal PE'ing should be safe. Of course nobody can say for sure, but I doubt there would be such risk if one knows what he's doing.

Please correct me if i am wrong coz i am very cautious guy.
REgarding Red spots .. i dont get that many ...I am a beginner in PE (as in started seriously after experimenting) and when i jelq (wet) i jelq at almost 80-90% .. i mean my pepe is SPONGY and PUMPED .. but not completely hard and have no pain when sliding my O grips .. but i tend to do lots of warm downs.
Having red spots is normal is it ?? Or will i get the formation of scar tissue in the long run ....
PLease help :(

PLease help :(
Don't worry mate, like wern says they are common. So long as you don't do anything foolish. Looks like there isn't anything in your routine that looks incorrect, so keep going.
