I'm starting with quite a collection of progress diaries. You'd think that I'd actually been busy.

It is almost appropriate to have a clean page here because over the weekend, I have approached my PEing with renewed vigour. Mostly because of a discussion thread about warming up, it am looking to alter my routine and make it more intense. This is also a continuation of my progress after my operation (see Ed's almost back). I have been slowly increasing my workout intensity because I was afraid of any possible side effects. But after several months of gently PEing and the only effect being a longer dingdong, I am ready for more.

To my routine of alternating sets of wet jelqs and kegels, I am going to:

warm up in the shower for a few minutes
100 wet jelqs
after shower
30 dry jelqs
100 kegels

I've decided to copy some of my posts about my experience with surgery, just because it is an important aspect of my current PE philosophy:

Don't know if any of you remember me but it has been a while.

I am trying to gear myself up to restart working out.

I stopped PEing due to a particularly nasty bit of surgery. I thought that it might be useful info to other guys so I will try and tell you all what happened. This story might make some guys squeamish!

Since I was 13, I suffered from what was eventually diagnosed as urethral strictures: basically scarring on the inside of my urethra caused by either a urinary infection or some "trauma" such as falling on the bar of my bike or some other blow to my penis. What this meant was that when I peed, the urine would come out in a thin stream, it would take for ever, and I had to pee all the time since I could never fully empty my bladder. It may not seem like much of a problem, but waking up a few times at night, frequent trips to the toilet at work, extreme urgency when I needed a piss: it all adds up and suddenly your life is being impacted. On a few horrible occasions the pee wouldn't even come out. Drinking alcohol, which of course makes you piss copiously, was a bit ridiculous because even a normal guy goes piss like a fountain and with me it was embarassing.

I had several "cold knife" procedures where a urologist cut out the scar tissue. This was miserable, particularly the 1-2 weeks with a cathetre. Nightly erections rode up the tube causing quite a bit of discomfort. There is also nothing so unpleasant as having a cathetre removed (it makes me queasy just thinking about it). Unfortunately, mere weeks after each operation, the stream of pee slowed down. My urologist was ready to continue the "cold knife" procedures as long as I wanted but because I am so young (3Cool and shouldn't be running around like an old man, he recommended more serious measures.

This is a long bit of work, so I will continue it later

Well, the more serious procedure involved removing the chronically scarred section of the urethra. That's right, going in with the knives and cutting something out of my penis. I think that I agreed to this without really knowing enough and just sort of floated along with the specialists information. Well, in March of last year I had the surgery. It could have been even worse because apparently the scarred tissue was only 1.5 cm long. Any longer and the whole procedure would have become much more serious. As it was short, it was simply removing the damaged urethral section and then sewing them back up together. I spent 6 hours in surgery. Prior to going under, the surgeon happened to mention that my penis could get shorter. Too late to back out now. Despite respecting his abilities as a surgeon, how could he not, man to man, understand that this was something significant?

I woke up afterwards and then had to deal with being sick from the anaesthetic. The stricture was located where the urethra takes a sharp turn into the penis and it was accessed by the space between my balls and my asshole. A y-shaped incision was used. I had a cathetre coming out of my dick and a suprapubic cathetre (coming out just above my dick) The doctor was happy with how things went. I was just out of it.

My stay in hospital only lasted 2 days. But during that time, some of my new realities set in. Due to my incision, sitting down was impossible. Nurses came in and washed me which was awkward and of course scary because I couldn't really see what the situation was down there. I could just feel lots of stitches. My balls and penis were black and blue with bruising. Tylenol and morphine did help!

After such a short time in hospital, I was really uneasy being released so soon. Particularly as I no longer have a family doctor and have not been able to find one. Luckily, my surgeon arranged visits from the VON every 2 days to clean the incision and the suprapubic cathetre. This was a weird experience because every couple of days, different women would come in and see my gear in its most pathetic state. No problems with erections because my dick was like the proverbial groundhog on a sunny day. It would only come out to play almost 2 weeks later. I learned how to make nighttime erections less painful by carefully cleaning the cathetre tube of the accumulated crust, but they would wake me up several times a night. I guess we are not aware of it but our dicks are pumping up and down all night. The codein helped with the pain but also caused nasty constipation. It took a few days and the help of yougourt and bran buds to cure that.

As time when on, I was able to sit up but not on hard chairs for short periods. Several weeks later, my surgeon removed the cathetre from my penis but left the suprapubic one in as a saftey measure. I was going to have to pee standing up now! The first time peeing was scary. Fear of pain, fear of nothing happening, fear of blood. The opening of my penis was streatched to a larger size affecting the form of the urine stream but that settled out after a couple of days.

What was next? Well several more weeks of not running or lifting anything heavy. My state of physical fitness plummeted and it really made me think about illness. If it could knock a young man like me off my arse, I shudder to think about weaker or older folks! Now, you might be wondering, what about sex? Well, under doctors orders: no sex for 3 months or masturbation for 2 months. (by the way, in the doc's books, riding a bike was just as bad as sex!!). I can tell you that my first wank was something special!

Since that time, I've regained my physical condition and even rode a bike! But I've shied away from penis enlargement. Not that I haven't been thinking alot about it. Because my dick is shorter. I have not even dared to measure it because it is so discouraging. But the signs are there: when I am relaxed and flacid, the loose skin covers the head of my dick. I swear that my dick is thicker when soft though. There may be a slight difference in its erect lenghth but I'm not sure. Some other differences: my nuts have lost some sensation and I'm pretty sure that my dickhead does not get as hard. The hole is more sensitive to rubbing against my clothes and the angle of my erection is more like 3 o'clock as opposed to 1 o'clock. Having a hardon with clothes on is much more difficult now.

Obviously, I would like to regain any lost length but more obviously, I don't want to do any damage. I would never mention PEing to my surgeon but really he is the type of person who I should talk with. Up to now, I have experimented with a bit of jelqing but am wary of stretches. My self controle is completely absent though because each time I try jelqing, I wind up pulling one off.

That's where I am now. Kind of a no-man's land. It feels like I have new gear between my legs and I need a new owner's manual.

What with recent discussions on CC involving visualization and self-hypnosis, when I did my workout today, I concentrated on the image of my penis stretching. Whether it works or not, it seems it is a great way to focus on the jelq and, I am hoping eventually, help me controle my rampant boners during workouts. Seriously, everyone says their dicks calmed down after PE for a while. Not mine. I know that I should never ever regret having hard ons and ons and ons but it does complicate PEing. Maybe my dick or my imagination have a mind of their own?

Currently:
warm up in the shower 5 min
100 wet jelqs in shower, lube vasoline!
50 dry jelqs after shower
100 kegels when I can fit them in

Haven't measured in a couple of weeks and I think that I may wait for a while. I have not measured girth in donkeys years, so I want to do that next measuring.

Currently, since it's only been a few hours from my workout, my dick really feels alive (almost tingling, definitely more engorged in its flacid state). A great feeling :D

Ed, I think it would make more sense to do the dry jelqs first because you can do them with a dry penis instead of a penis lubed up from the wet jelqs. I think that would make it more efficient (and would eliminate the extra time taken to wipe off the lube - thereby shortening routine time).
