I was wondering if anyone here had experience with a ZMA supplement (thats zinc and magnesium). It's supposed to naturally raise testosterone levels. Did a search and nothing came up.

I take it often with arginine and I feel great. I don't know about muscle gains because I'm not lifting weights , but I do feel good and am constantly horny (well, I've always been constantly horny)
I guess that didn't help? Makes me feel good but that's it?

I get a fiar dosage of both in my Multivitamin. Inorder to be in your best shape, it really helps to have a daily multivitamin.

Here is what I'm currently taking:
Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate 1500 mg, twice daily
DHEA, 25 mg daily
Zinc, 30 mg daily
Magnesium, 500 mg daily
And of course, multi b vitamin, vitamin c 1 g, mega b6
I'd take Tribulus Terrestris as well..but I'm taking enough shit as it is..

I just picked up some ZMA from the store. I'll let you know if I see any noticeable difference from taking it.

In a previous life i was a gym instructor, i currently own a small restaurant. From my experience with regards to supplements and diet the only 2 really worth spending money on are creatine and l-glutamine. I take a magnesium tablet every night before i go to sleep but thats only because im prone to muscle cramps. Zinc is great for your immune system and can aid in recovery but with a good diet your zinc needs will be met. If you are concerned take a multivitamin to cover all your bases.

Why L-Glutamine?

ZMA is great stuff. I highly recommend it.
The benefits are huge... harder erections, energy, mood boost, sexuality enhanced, deeper longer lasting sleep. It's a bit expensive, and you want the higher quality products. I tried some bulk 1FAST400 and it was far from the competition which I picked up at GNC for a bit of extra cash.
It was missing the "Good morning hunny i'm going to SPLIT YOU IN HALF!!!!" feeling.

So were you taking it on an empty stomach before bed? How much?

I'm curious, too.
I've been taking GNC's ZMA's before bed with a couple of eggs. I've been cooking the whites to avoid a biotin deficiency and eating the yolks raw, because I've heard about some neurotransmitters in egg yolks that are supposedly good for you and destroyed by heat. It might just be a bunch of hocus pocus, though.
When I eat egg yolks with the ZMA's, my balls get bigger and I have more morning wood, but I feel more sluggish during the day. So I seem to be getting mixed signals about my testosterone levels.
If there's a better way, please tell me.

Torpedo, did you try the eggs before you started taking ZMA? From what I've read, while people are very often deficient in zinc and magnesium, where no deficiency exists ZMA as its own niche supplement provices no measurable benefit.
