I have posted about this before, I know...

A year ago, I had fairly big balls. I mean not huge, but satisfyingly big. Manly. But I always took it for granted, because, well that's the kind of thing you take for granted. However, in the months October-December of 2008, my testicles started, slowly but surely, to shrink. As of now, I'm sure they are half the size they used to be. I have NO IDEA why. The only "out of the ordinary" things I was doing at the time were 1. swimming every week wearing tight swimming pants, and 2. just starting to take driving lessons, which meant sitting for 90 minutes straight in an uncomfortable driving seat every week. But I can't imagine how those things could have permanently altered the size of my testicles.

This concerned me so much that in February of 2009, I visited the urologist. He took a look at my testicles and felt if there were any lumps, etc. He said that he couldn't know for sure if they had shrunken, but they were not "unusually" small. We even did an ultrasound/sonograph type thing, which shows you if there is enough blood circulating in there. All fine! We also checked my testosterone levels. All fine! So there's nothing he could do.

Another thing I noticed was that when I ejaculate, a lot less comes out than before, however, I failed to tell this to the doctor.

It's not like I'm in pain, or that my genitals don't function properly, it's just that... I feel emasculated. I no longer feel my balls between my thighs when I walk around. Now, I can press my hand against the underside of my dick, thereby pushing my testicles out towards the sides, painlessly. Before, this wasn't even physically possible, because of their size.

It may be that I'm over-analysing and being overly concerned about this. But just to make sure, I wanted to ask you guys: about how big are you guys testicles? I have no idea how to measure them, but I suppose you could say "length x circumference", if you took the longest dimension as the "length". I think mine are about 5 cm long... Thanks a lot if you actually go and measure up..!

Have you been taking any steroids? I know that this can cause your tests to get smaller. I was a former bodybuilder (all natural) and saw a lot of guys on the juice and saw what would happen.

Well, they sound about like mine. If I remember correctly, mine are 5 cm x 3.5 cm. I sometimes feel like mine have shrunk, too. Can't confirm that, though.

I know this may sound crazy... but try this:

Sit in a hot bath and relax a few days a week. 10+ minutes. Make it part of your jelqing/whatever session.

Don't ejaculate for two weeks. During those two weeks, do whatever it takes to get yourself horny on a constant basis. I'm talking quasi blue balls. Edge, fuck without ejaculating, whatever.

Massage your balls as often as you can. Be a perv.

Exercise if so inclined.

I guarantee you that if you do all of this for two weeks your balls will be larger than they are currently. Guaranteed!

You might want to go see a doctor and have a testosterone level check. Your levels might be down and they have creams to fix it.

Okay...so today I was in the doctor's office (just to get a blood test because of my liver), and I picked up a pamflet on ZINC. It's apparently really important for your body and is stored in great amounts... in the sperm and in the testicles!! I used to take vitamins with breakfast every morning, vitamin C, calcium, zinc... and I stopped taking them last year, because I didn't think they were doing any good. So as of now, I will start taking Zinc or Calcium every day with breakfast, and see if it works!!

I know this may sound crazy... but try this:

You might want to go see a doctor and have a testosterone level check. Your levels might be down and they have creams to fix it.
Yeah, the urologist already did that when I went there. Apparently my testosterone levels are fine.

Well, I have an appointment with the urologist in about an hour (for unrelated reasons) so I'll talk to him about it when I'm there. I have the same concern... My testicles are softer than they used to be, too.

Exercise and keep and limit your ejaculations (but continue having sex) and your balls will permanently be twice the size they are after one night of hard sex. I guarantee it.

But see, that's the problem. Most men can have sex and orgasm without ejaculating anyway. So I would not expect you to attempt it in the first place.

How old are you? That may be a factor.

Anyway, I think to be totally safe, you should have blood work done. I am surprised that your urologist didn't order it the first time.

The urologist DID do blood work the first time.. but apparently everything was "normal".

Flaccido, I do believe that abstaining from ejaculation will make my balls bigger, but I hate doing that. Every time I've gotten "blue balls", it's been quite painful and totally unsatisfying. I wouldn't want to do that regularly, even to make my balls bigger. And it's not like I was abstaining a whole lot from ejaculation last year, when the size of my testicles was fine...

Okay, so I've been abstaining from ejaculation for 3 days now, and I've been taking Zinc every morning.

My balls actually feel a little bigger today! :D

Well, I just got back from getting blood work and an ultrasound done. I'll have to wait for the test results, but the urologist said that I do have a varicocele on both sides, which is probably what's behind the soreness. It's also possible that my balls really have gotten smaller. Varicoceles can cause significant atrophy. :(

He seemed confident that things would, for the most part, return to normal after corrective surgery.

I was about to start back up with PE. (I had to stop due to an extremely busy work schedule, and I'm back to square one size-wise. :() But with the varicocele issue, I'm a little afraid to. My testicles won't be able to cool back down quickly if they get overheated during a warm-up. I'll have to explore some different warm-up methods.

I had to stop due to an extremely busy work schedule, and I'm back to square one size-wise.

What was your starting size and how big did you get to? How long were did you take a break from PE?

Well, I was always a newbie, so I never really cemented any gains. My starting size was a consistent 5.75x4.75" (nbp.) At my peak, I was maybe 6.25x5.15? (still nbp) I made those gains in maybe 1-2 months, and my break was about the same length. Thus far, my PE career has been nothing but overtraining, accidental injuries, and emergencies that have kept me from PEing. :neut:

But my crazy schedule is winding down, so as soon as I determine that it's safe to PE, I'm going to jump back into it.

By the way, I have been abstaining from ejaculation for many days now, and I actually feel GREAT. My dick seems bigger all the time, and I have a lot of energy. My balls don't really seem bigger any more, but they do seem firmer and kind of heavier. Not ejaculating makes PE a lot more convenient too.. cause you can just get into bed after a warm shower, and do your jelqs.. and not have to clean anything up! :lol:

Torpedo: Ah, I've heard of varicoceles causing atrophy. But don't worry too much about the operation; I have 3 immediate friends who have had operations for a varicocele, and they all did fine. It just hurts a few days afterwards, and you're not supposed to fuck/masturbate in that time. I hope the size issue gets better then!

Calcium inhibits Magnesium absorption.
B6, Magnesium and Zinc is a "stack" that allegedly increases testosterone and overall muscle development (among other claims) I take them around two times a week and always on the day I work out or jelq. (along with a l-arginine horse sized pill.)

Me too! Your testosterone levels will rise if you do the abstain for seven days 'routine' I mentioned week after week. Glad you're feeling great!

When I was in my twenties, I used to just fuck all the time and ejaculate like a cream fountain. But I found out that it made me listless and tired the older I get.

I follow the eight day 'routine pretty religiously and I feel great. My balls will almost be double their size on the eighth day as compared to the day after ejaculating.

Now if I could only have sex every single day! But alas.... after almost ten years of marriage, kids, blah blah blah.. wifey doesn't want to do it every single day! I'm just hoping she'll bring a girlfriend home one day!

I've got into a kind of rhythm now whereby I PE every time I have a shower (usually twice a day) and this involves masturbating a little to do erect bends. But no edging. Only after about 4 days, when I'm really horny, do I masturbate, and I edge about 3 or 4 times before actually ejaculating. Seems to work pretty well! I'm gonna take a little break from PE'ing now, because I've been doing it for 4 days straight, and my dick needs to rest! :D

Unfortunately, my testicles are still very small. They have gotten harder from abstaining, though, so I guess it's a good thing. Since I'm in the states at the moment, I need to wait before getting to my urologist in Germany. But I'll specifically ask him about varicoceles then. Thanks for asking, Flaccido! :hug:

Okay, so it's been two months since I last posted...

I've been keeping up the occasional abstination. I have included edging into my PE routine, and only really ejaculate every 2 or 3 days. Although sometimes it doesn't make a difference, and I could go on for a week without ejaculating! My mind is still occupied by the small size ... especially since I know of nobody else who has had this problem.

So I think I will try the eight day abstination thing now. So Flaccido, you say I should edge EVERY DAY during the abstination? I just get the feeling that this cannot be healthy.

So I wouldn't go avoiding ejaculation long term.

While your testosterone is showing up in the normal range, that doesn't mean that it isn't lower than it was previously. Firstly the 'normal' range for testosterone is quite wide anyway, but also your urologist may be measuring against the total male population rather than your age group, which makes the range even larger. Your natural testosterone levels and their relationship to your other hormone levels directly relate to your testicle size.

Having said that, its still probably best in the beginning to look at what (other than your testes) has changed in your life leading up to the change in size you believe you're experiencing. You sound fairly young as you're taking driving lessons, so have you perhaps just left an environment where you were the alpha male (such as high school), for work/ uni where you're a small fish in a big pond? Has your diet changed (even if it seemed to be a positive change)? Are you under stress? Yes, worrying about your nuts 24x7 counts. Have you entered or exited relationships sexual or otherwise? Have you changed jobs? Have you changed sleeping patterns? There are so many reasons that you could be having problems. I'm sure if you think about it for long enough you'll probably realise what it is that has changed.

It's definitely not because of stress. I was under quite a bit of stress a year ago, but not anymore, so why are they still small?

I'm beginning to think my testosterone levels are simply too low, and the doctor said they were "fine" just because they weren't pathologically low. I actually don't feel like going back to any doctors... I need to take this into my own hands, just like my penis size. Going to start doing some heavy interval training and massage my balls more from now on! :cool
