View Full Version : Eyes - Blue Goodbyes

One of the things that depresses me the most are my eyes.
They are weird and ugly. No, it isnt just in my head because its the opinion of several people. (ofcourse never personally directed at me)
They make me look like I'm stoned, stupid, empty, unhuman and tired.
I dont know why they make me look like that, they just do.
I also have those lines next to my eyes (we call them crows feet here) that gives my eyes a downward look.

Does someone know some exercises for the eyes and surroundings? Beauty tips anything?

I strongly recommend getting help for Your self-esteem problems, Valk!

It isnt self esteem problems because its not just my opinion. I heard from friends that a couple of people commented on my eyes.
Dont you have ever met someone who had ugly fugly eyes? They do exist you know, not everybody is born beautiful or even average.

I'm sorry You have overheard such things, but... You shouldn't take what others say too seriously, they're just opinions. Nobody I know is perfect, so I could easily make remarks on several parts of their body, and my own body too. Just be Yourself, man!

Well I see a lot about skin firming creams and wrinkle reducers you may want to look into that, and also you can get contacts which change the color of your eyes, you can be as subtle or extreme as you want but I have seen them in action and they make people look much better if they choose the right colors. Also smiling more makes your who face more appealing to other people. Also Visine for the redness.

Valk

I appreciate your help very much but you just dont know how hard it is.
The way people treat you when you come across as morose, dumb and stupid is disgusting. Its so disrespectful.

I'm seriously considering plastic surgery, only its way too expensive.
It looks like plastic surgery can only be paid by rich, beautiful people.

I know it's difficult to hear such things, but as I said they're just opinions of a few. I can't do much without seeing You, so all I can do is wish You good luck. Seriously, try every other option first before even considering plastic surgery!

Ahhhh Valk i feel your pain my man, i dont feel very blessed in the looks department however many people say its in my head that im really not bad and that my body is very good but my mind faiils to admit this to me. I am already se t on a getting a nose job for sure because it is my biggest insecurity, my greatish wish ever is to look like someone else to look like i really want to. It must be amazing walking around outside and have hot girls look at you just for your looks Gosh.

But one thing i can say on top of that is Valk also be happy that we have our health and are not scarred by burns, or deformed, and can walk and are normal imagine the ppl that wish they looked like us my friend.

Valk, as controversial as it may sound to the members at CC, I advise you to look into cosmetic plastic surgery for your face. Go get some quotes and info from doctors and specialists. Find out pros and cons. I know some people who have had plastic surgery and have become very beautiful as a result. They were hideous before. Like this one chick whose nose was really fugly. Like fugly.net ugly. And now she is HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just from a nose job. it changed her whole face.

It may not be as expensive as you think. Make sure the surgeon is reputable.

Valk
27th June 2005, 08:56 AM
Yeah, but the most reputable are the most expensive the most of the time.
But, ofcourse I dont want to get the job done by some quack either.

Yeah, but the most reputable are the most expensive the most of the time.
But, ofcourse I dont want to get the job done by some quack either.

well, the first step is to check it out, get some info on what the market prices are, what's cheap. what's expensive. Maybe the good surgeons are affordable for you. Don't forget, plastic surgery is forever (as long as you take care of it and the surgeon doesn't botch it), so no matter what it costs, it's an investment for life.

The latest trend is for Brits and generally other Europeans to come to South Africa for plastic surgery. This is because even with the plane fare and the cost of sugery and recovery, the costs are still less than in Europe or the USA. And the surgeons are of the highest quality too. There is talk of a new kind of plastic tourism aimed at such a market, where people take holidays and have plastic surgery at the same time. Just an option right?

Valk
27th June 2005, 02:24 PM
Because someone people want plastic surgery?
Sorry to say it, but attractive people can absolutely NOT know how it is for ugly people. You're just lucky that you are attractive but you shouldnt judge people who are not and undertake plastic surgery.
Who has more chance with you? A gorgeous female or a butt-ugly looking monster? No matter how nice the butt-ugly is, the gorgeous female will all always have a couple miles advantage. Does that make you shallow? No. Its just the way the world works.

Please dont do that.

Bobo

I'm not judging You, and I understand it's a big problem for You. What really blows my mind is the difference between problems in rich and poor countries. That's what I ment about the weird world... If plastic surgery is Your only option, then go ahead and do it.

Valk
27th June 2005, 03:18 PM
I see what you mean and I know I shouldnt be complaining.
But get me right here. I never said I'm depressed because I dont look like brad pitt or some other celebrity. I'm not one of those attractive people that become unhappy with themselfves because they dont look like their favourite moviestar. I would be happy with just being average, just blend in the crowd.
I have lots of other unattractive features but I can learn to live with them.
But while everybody seems to have been born with at least a normal pair of eyes, I dont have that privilege.
I know that you think I'm complaining about nothing, but unless you've been ugly yourself once, you cant really now how its like.

Bobo
27th June 2005, 06:52 PM
I'm blond, and trust me... we're not too popular among girls up here. In Indonesia I was like a God, but here... the girls go with the dark haired and brown eyed men. In many ways I don't feel too attractive here, but in the big, big world out there I'm something special. Don't get me wrong, I do understand it's a big problem for You. But, is the problem there because You overheard those comments about Yourself, or are You really "ugly"? Without seeing a pic, I'll go with the first option, because I've seen it a hundred times that when people judge their own looks they're very often wrong. So, why did those people say those things? Usually people pick on others to take the attention off their own faults. Because they said what they said, You feel ugly... did You feel that way before those comments?

wern
27th June 2005, 07:04 PM
just get the damn surgery

Bobo

Valk

They always say that the eyes are the windows to the soul.
Its what's most important when communicating with eachother.
My eyes look tired and stupid, so people wont think I'm much when they see me. Thats a whole different story then if your hair is a different color then the general opinion of women is. My hair is reddish and not very wanted. But I dont care about that.
And yes, I'm really ugly. I thought it before I overheard those comments
Several people commented on my looks. Ofcourse the worst ones I overheard but some friends said it in a more nicer way.
All I want is to look like a human being. Nothing more. Just average.

I feel bad for You, Valk, because feeling ugly can really put a person down. I still think most of it is only in Your head... Go to see a shrink or a surgeon, they're the only ones that can help. At Your state (judging by Your posts) You can't help Yourself. Get help, my friend.

Valk post a pic and I can give you some advice as to what you can do. Without seeing anything we are all stabbing in the dark.

Bobo
29th June 2005, 06:38 PM
I almost asked You to email a pic to me, but then again... it wouldn't help. If I'd say positive things You wouldn't believe me and You'd think I'm only saying those things to make You feel better. If I'd say negative things it would only make things worse. It's a no-win situation in terms of us helping You, and all You can do is get some professional help, wether it's a surgeon or a shrink.

I have gotten compliments about my eyes and laid twice because of them (more like because the chicks were drunk). Oh sorry...Im sure that some people care more about other stuff alot more then your eyes like your personality.

Valk
2nd July 2005, 07:21 PM
I wouldnt be upset if it wasnt about my eyes. The eyes play a big part in how people see you. They give me a tired, angry and stupid look.
Now imagine, when you see people with a certain look in their eyes what do you think?
You think: He feels such and such. He's such a person etc.
You dont think: Oh because his eyes are shaped like that it makes him look that way.
Almost every person matches facial characterics with personal traits.

Bobo
2nd July 2005, 07:54 PM
I've been told I'm quite good in seeing from peoples facial impressions what they think or feel (who knows... maybe I am), so I know what You're talking about. But, if I'm really as good as they say, I can honestly say that Your low confidence about Yourself will cast a worse shadow on Your face than Your eyes otherwise would. If You'd feel good about Yourself, You would look quite different. I'm also sure those people would take their words back if they knew how much You suffer now, especially because I believe they didn't mean it as bad as You think.

Because with me i think im ugly blah blah blah the whole spielll.. But i work out real hard and am slightly confident about my body so it casta a positve overtone on myself it helps. And the way i look at it since im ugly in my face ill make up for it with my body so i work out like an animal. VALK i suggest you work out and get your body so sick ppl dont mind if your ugly thats what i try to do lol. Im serious though do it. MIght make u become confident.

Makes sense, You will feel better if You upgrade Your looks otherwise. Just like with blind beople: other senses get stronger to keep things in balance.

Valk
3rd July 2005, 03:29 PM
I've been told I'm quite good in seeing from peoples facial impressions what they think or feel (who knows... maybe I am)

I have some ability to do that myself and because of that, I can judge how people respond to me. Feel how they see me.
Apart from that, some people snip in comments that hint at me being tired, lazy and stuff. And you know, if someone else had my eyes I would've probably thought the same way.

I'm also sure those people would take their words back if they knew how much You suffer now, especially because I believe they didn't mean it as bad as You think.

I'm not sure if they would take their words back, but I do think that they didnt meant to hurt me. They just dont think about what their words might do to other people.
But, in a way I'm glad I overheard that because I now know why people react to me in a certain way, think of me in a certain way.
I used to know that I wasnt very attractive, but now at least I know that it is my eyes, that make me look the way that I do.

But I do know that my eyes are really ugly. I've seen the difference when I hided my eyes with sunglasses. With sunglasses I look OK, but without them I look hideous.

Ownd, I'm working out too and I'm sure it will make a difference if I transform myself. I think it would also change my face a bit. But still...
Success on your quest Ownd!

Valk buddy, I do understand your concern because I myself had some sort of similar problem during my teenager years. It took me years to overcome it. But I cannot really grasp the depth of this problem or the nature of those comments just by reading this thread. Would you mind telling us what exactly you did overhear. Another thing, would you mind sending a pic of you, or only of your eyes if you wish, to my e-mail (I promisse I won't mess around with it by posting it without your permission or make fun of you. Trust me). I can only tell you anything after seeing your eyes. And I'm being quite serious now, no jokes intended.

Like Bobo said, it's a no-win situation, a comment might just make things worse for you, but... since you brought this up, I would really appreciate if I could actually see you before saying anything, that is, if you wish.

Have a look at this site for plastic surgery and tell me what you think of some of the changes.

Okay, I will sent a picture but I can't do it now. I dont have a camera and the one I borrowed recently used flash, if you wanted it or not. So you only saw red eyes. I understand that its the only way to show you what I'm talking about.

I think my case resembles the one of the second from below. The bone of my eye ridges is bigger then normal and is slightly overhanging.
From a sideview you can see a big lump of bone protuding above my eyes. More then most people. So its not only the eyes, its more my eye ridges.<

Tell me about your problem if you want. :)

Second from bellow from which page? The ginger girl on the first page? I actually thought she was not too bad, but after the surgery, her eye lift made she look quite gorgeous.

You know Valk, this crest on top of one's eyelid is quite common on nordic and anglo-saxon people. I find it very common on english people. Again, that's why I'd like to see your pic, to have a clearer idea.

My problem? Well, I don't think (at least nowadays) that it was such a big deal after all. It was my hair. When I was a boy, my hair was blond (very blond) and straight (like the guy on the first page, third from the top). When I turned 14, in one year my hair became dark brown and frizzy (very frizzy). My colleagues (or I would say those fucking assholes), who knew me from years earlier, started taking the piss out of my hair and bullying me because of that. I got myself into various fights due to that. I didn't give a shit about what the guys thought of my messy hair back then, but when the girls joined their bullying, it really got me. You know how girls' oppinion affects the self esteem of a teenager.

Anyway, my hair settled into a sort of curly/wavy (but not frizzy) when I was about 18/19. But I remember the bullying like it was yesterday and I wouldn't feel guilty at all if I came across a particular motherfucker, who was heading this bullying, and killed him (but I would at least chop his ding off and burn his hair first).

Thats coz the vikings invaded and raped the brits in north UK. I saw it on discovery channel. Damn vikings.
