Hi all.

I've been lurking here a bit to look around and see what I could see before I went and asked questions that have already been answered a ba-zillion times and are right out in the open. But if I didn't do quite enough digging (or even missed the obvious), please forgive. :)

Current status - I don't have one of those flexible (tailors?) tape measures, so I've had to fo the string or piece of paper route. Depending on various factors, I'm between 5.75" and 6" long (though usually closer to the 5.75" side), and about 5.5" around at mid-shaft. How does that really stack up? I'm just curious. Surveys and studies don't seem reliable as they range wildly from one another. On one, I might be _just_ above average in both, on another one I might be just below average in length, and average in girth. And when looking at, well, pics, I always seem to, erm, come up short. But then there is the idea that porn tends to favor/draw the larger guys and thus is not an accurate representation. But even if true, that doesn't really help much since it's pretty much the only means of comparison. lol

I've read that some tribes in Africa that do the weight hanging thing end up with really long needles. So that makes me wonder - is there any chance (any chance at all) of losing girth in the process of manual PE? It seems to be quite similar in principle, stretching, forcing forward expansion, combined with added circumferential compression.

I have read a number of places where the test of a stong PC muscle is being able to stop urinating mid-stream. I find that no matter how forceful the stream I can stop it in an instant at will, and repeatedly if I choose. So is that it? Is that the limit of PC strength? Or are there better tests and better excercises to achieve those tests with?

I've also read some seemingly conflicting ideas (here in fact) about kegels. One said that doing kegels continues blood flow *in*, and another recent post said that kegeling when erect causes a quick loss of that state.

Does all this gripping and compressing affect sensitivity at all? (longterm or shortterm)

As for my goals, I'm somewhat conical shaped now. I'm about 6" around at the base, down to 5.5" mid-shaft, continuing at about that rate to the tip. Ideally, I would like to fill that out and have 6" all the way down (but I wouldn't complain about more :mrgreen ), and I'd also like to top 6" in length all the time. Length is less of a concern for me, but it would be nice to have 6" be the min size, maybe moving that 1/4" flux up a 1/4". Again, I'd not complain about more than that, but I'm not super concerned about length.

How difficult is it to gain a half inch in girth?

I think that's it. For now at least. I'm sure I'll have plenty more questions later on. lol :)

Hi

At 5.75" x 5.5" you're above average what with the penis being a 3D object, so in a room of 100 blokes and No.1 being the smallest, you'd be number 63.

Likewise with the kegal - I think I had a pretty good PC muscle to start with so can't really see what the fuss is about.

Sensitivity - personally yes, it's less sensitive. Whether that's in my glans or in my brain I can't really tell.

Half an inch of girth should be no problem.

Based on what I know, Your length is average and girth a bit more than average.

I've read that some tribes in Africa that do the weight hanging thing end up with really long needles. So that makes me wonder - is there any chance (any chance at all) of losing girth in the process of manual PE?
With only stretching You will loose some girth, because then the volume of the blood chambers doesn't get bigger, only their shape does change. With normal PE'ing, including volume expanding techniques like jelqs and holds, You won't loose any girth and You may gain both girth and length.

Kegels... I find that no matter how forceful the stream I can stop it in an instant at will, and repeatedly if I choose. So is that it? Is that the limit of PC strength?
Not really. Almost anyone can stop the stream, it's only a way to find the muscle. With a very strong PC muscle You can have multiple orgasms by holding Your ejaculation with a strong kegel. I can't do that (yet), but I hope that some day I will. We have some members here that can do that. A strong PC muscle also gives You more control over Your ejaculations so that You can last longer in bed.

Does all this gripping and compressing affect sensitivity at all? (longterm or shortterm)
Yes they do, but in a positive way. A stronger PC muscle can make Your orgasms stronger. PE'ing is completely safe when done light enough, and I don't recommend any other "advanced" techniques than holds in fear of scar tissue and nerve damage. Holds are the most sraining exercise anyone should do, and a month or two of regular PE'ing is recommended before even trying them out.

How difficult is it to gain a half inch in girth?
Not difficult at all. How fast You will get it varies alot, but wether You're "lucky" or not that way, just keep on PE'ing and sooner or later You'll get it.

Welcome to CC, and good luck for the gains! Keep us posted on Your progress! :D

Thanks for the replies. :)

Just getting a chance to check back in finally. I was going to say that it was nice to know I was starting out better off than I thought I was, then I see in another n00b thread the 6.0 I'm after. doh! lol Some guys get all the luck and still want more. :P lol

Hopefully soon I'll be able to dig up one of the starting routines and get to work. Just so busy at the moment that it's going to be a little while I think.

Anyway, I'll be lurking, and occasionally pestering you guys with more n00b questions I'm sure. :)

The better You do Your homework here before starting, the better results You'll get by not doing all the beginner mistakes people usually go through.
