This thread is kind of a combination between a question and me just getting some recent thoughts down. Comment/answer if you like. Hopefully someone might get a little nugget of info out of it.
I was just sitting here thinking about PE, and I checked over my journal and realized ive been going at it for 6 months straight with no real breaks (maybe a week or so here in there).
Anyways a thought struck me that I might try just stretching for 2 weeks or a month to kind of change things up a bit, and deload if you want to call it that. Its funny because when I started I thought stretches were kind of a waste of time, and warm ups for the good stuff. Now im starting to realize they really make a difference especially at the end of a good session.
Anybody in here tried to cooling it for a bit on the more "intense" exercises for a couple weeks to a month? Or had any experience with that?
As I was thinking about it more maybe Ill throw in some holds and hold variations so I dont lose any girth, but I dont really see that happening.
In any case I am a firm believer that variation will not only keep your body guessing and you growing, but second and imo more importantly I think it fires up your motivation everytime you try something new. I know I get all excited whenever I think of changing up a routine ive been doing for a while, and that applies to working out, studying, etc. Not just PE.
