Ok, CC is here to stay :)

But I need to make sure it is able to run itself because I'd hate to come back here and see all hell had broken loose and there was nothing the regular members could do about it because there were no active mods or admins (unlikely I know but still a minor concern).

So...

I'm promoting a couple of guys...

I don't want the promotion to feel like a burden to you, you need to enjoy the site as before, but do what you need to do, when you can... No need to change the world here, just keep the peace :)

So, I'm going to leave Bobo to promote you guys (because I don't know how to do it lol - not used VB in ages and last time I remember it was a pain in the arse).

G, I can't believe how long you've been here mate... The thought of closing this place down disgust me to know how long you've been here and what you're contributed...

G and bobo, I'd like to give you guys permission to make any additional admins you think may be needed and/or mods... just use good judgement. I know you will...

Thank you bro. I feel honored. To some that may sound silly, but this place has many great members just as worthy as I am. I was in ROTC for 5 years and made Chief Master Sargent. I made management at my job in only months and even captain of my basketball team. I put this up there with them. You may ask why, but not a single one of the above has done more in my life than CC has. But it goes beyond PE. You can get help with personal problems, now you can get bodybuilding tips, and most of all, had it not been for the guys here, I would long be dead. The kind and encouraging words of some of the members here helped me through a time I was ready to end it all. . I couldn't bring myself to talk to the ones in my life about what I felt, so I turned here for the help I was ashamed to ask for in person. To my amazement, my posts were met with genuine, heart-felt, concern, advice, and requests for me not to go through with it. The same thing happened with Mud, but in his case, I fear the worse. Thats the beauty of this place. Its a community in which the members here have a concern for and a desire to help their fellow members. I will never be a SPike, Godma, Zw, or Bobo, but i will do my best to help keep the peace here the best I can. :cheeky:

I am green! That's enough for me at the moment. I'm not sure how I'd know if I had the tools, but there is a little computer icon in each post now that indicates an IP address.

Steve, the only real differences in appearance are the monitors showing the IP of the poster and you should be seeing an edit button on all posts.

Nice to see you green Steve! as said before, you can now edit all posts. Careful with that one. Sometimes you mean to hit quote and get that one instead. You can also view IP's and join the Ineer Sanctum. In there you will find a link that can trace IP's and at the bottom of the main forum page, you should see a new item beside of the contact us called moderation. You get to V.Bulletin through there and you also have the ability to use thread tools such as editing, moving, deleting, and combining threads! K! Glad to see you back baby!...i mean bro :redface:
