The freedom in those games are remarkable. I like to play them as well but the killing just gets old for me. I like substance past the killing.

Good game, but I couldn't help but feel it was just more of the same as the last 2 GTA games. There were several small improvements that did make it more fun, but at the same time it was basically the same game really. I'm hoping for a slightly more dramatic improvement on the next one.

True but the story and things you gotta do are waaaaaaaaaay different. Theres alot more to San Andreas than the others. Alot more.

Hmmm, like what? The missions are all races, chases, taking package\person from a to b, kill this guy\that gang etc. It didn't seem a whole lot different to me.

Replaying this game, I didn`t pass everything but finished the main missions.
I got my PS2 and a friends san andreas game.
The scenery is great, I sometimes just drive around listening to the talk radio stations.
The guy with the house music reminds me of Valk for some reason, and that song "in the desert you can`t remember your name.." " after 9 days I let the horse go free cos the desert had turned to sea" "I`ve been through the desert on a horse with no name it felt good to be out of the rain" reminds me of ZW.
I dunno why exactly but it does.
The next game I hope theres MUCH more interactivity, this game is awesome though. But the whole gangster ghetto thing gets on my nerves after a while.. I hope its not based on ghetto stuff again next time. I like the main character still though.
Biggest thing to fly is the jumbo jet from that huge hangar at the end of the runway in one of the airports.
Smallest thing to drive is a bmx bike.
I like the guns too. And the trucks, Somehow they don`t quite convey their mass quite well enough, Next time I believ it will be on the PS3 and more powerful as a flagship game.
The killings and cheats can get REAL boring real fast, but its so easy.. it needs more depth, more risk and realism and to be harder on the brain.
I love the fields and rocky outcrops and the waving tall grass. Beautfful, I also was real chuffed with buying the airstrip, felt like my own territory there.
The cars and stuff some have features that you can do but most you can`t do the things they are. like you can`t drop cement from cement trucks or stuff like that.

You know what  , we should all come together collectively and make the next GTA game. We can sell the idea, and make millions.
It should be based on something unused yet.

Any ideas come to mind?
How about a game where you tunnel underground under major cities and hold them hostage? j/k
Or how about you devise a cunning air behemoth that literally unarms whole countries of their weapons and ammo piecemeal. (I have some ideas).
Or how about you start out with nothing but using real life situations bring about some real positive changes in yourself, and your environment. Stuff that you can apply to your own life too. I mean, it`s like army games- NO real soldier is going to stand there unprotected shooting hundreds of rounds of like 6 different weapons (where does he hide all that ammo and weaponry??) whilst a platon on tango`s are taking potshots at him or even under full assault. Video games are great and escapism is great but so is realism. I escape a lot I guess.
I haven`t put any thought into other games, but when I was a boy I had this dream of a video game- it was REALLy good but the things I remember were just basic things, it was penguins and there was ice and snow (remember this is before Mario and the most advanced game was that tennis game lol). It was kinda like donkey kong I guess.
The tomb raider games I always loved, not to mention that lara croft is one sexy sprite. :puke: :D The new one she looks indian or something though wtf :? Kinda weird for a wimbledon girl.
It`d be cool to be like this guy and you can learn different trades without real life setbacks and rejections- train to be a pilot and fly, fireman, construction worker, bodyguard, assassin.
I realise a lot playing the GTA games. GTA vice city I was given on my 22nd birthday, my girlfriend was still my girlfriend atthat time and it wasa weird summer, hot too. Then bad shiit happened, we broke up pain ect and I was very messed up, wasnt sleeping or eating properly and aged a lot in a short time and was heavily suicidal- now I can`t play it without it bringing me back there, shit I can`t even THINK about it. It hurts and makes me really sad regretful and suicidal.
OK, so anyways yeah, I look at the different aspcts and places around the cities such as San Andreas and I ask myself "what would you like to be?" I guess the kid in me is curious how i become a cement truck loader or a fisherman or whatever. It`s intriguing as an adult and helps to open my mind. I always had the deal of not knowing what the hell I wanted to do when I grew up, now I`m nearly 25 and my employment history is pretty lame, especially currently. The army rejection really stomped flat my plan to be a soldier- even if I manage to appeal I will need to declare my damaged knee and that`ll be like the final nail in the coffin. I still haven`t let go either- it was something I put a lot of effort into.
So what are your thoughts on games?
