Was just looking in my journal, and I had to take a break at the beginning of february for a week. I've gotten red spots again the past couple of workouts, so I'm going to take another weeklong break...do most of you have to take a week break every month or am I doing something wrong?

You shouldn't be getting red spots that frequently. A break in the 6-12 month range is a fine thing but not every month.

i actually break a bit more often (about every 3-4 months) and my breaks last for about a month. i break whenever i feel i've hit a plateu and i get back to it when i say i'l get back to it( i mean i don't drag things). i guess that you have to know yourself.
by the metallica, if and when you break you should take longer breaks- a week is effective only for some fast healing, if you want the problem to disappear altogather you should take a longer break.

Honestly, a good break once in a while is a plus. But, like hugh said, you are getting red spots alot. Too much really. Maybe you are being too intense on your dick? I have no clue what it may be, but you should not be getting them this much bro.

metallica, are you still using an ADS or vacuum hanger? I'm confused as to what your current routine is per your diary. Post up exactly what you have been doing recently. I saw at one point you did like 35 minutes of holds?

Yeah hugh, I did over 30 mins of holds one day, and it didn't give me any red spots, but did give me some major expansion...but that was after a few days off. The last routine in my diary is the one I am thinking about trying, and I'm totally open to suggestions about it. With it, I'll be working out twice a week, with 5 days off per week. I think that's the key for me, getting my dick plenty of rest in regular intervals...Also, I'm seriously considering taking a break from the hanging and ads, but would appreciate input on that as well...

Also, another thing that might be of interest...the red spots I'm getting aren't the big scary red spots...they are definitely red spots, but they are usually pretty small, but there are several of them and they aren't concentrated in any one area, so that would lead me to believe that my dick is just not getting enough rest vs. the alternative of too much pressure being put on one area...I just know that I'm really going to start focusing on giving myself rest, which is why I think the two days a week might be a good thing for me to try a while, see if I get gains and if I eliminate the red spots.:? What initially gave me the idea is that Cod takes 3 days off after each of his pe sessions, and he is getting gains, so I thought I might need the same thing.

Stop hanging first, see if they go away. If not, stop using the ADS too. I'd be willing to wager that your issues are due to one of the two if not both.

when i think of pumpers i think of my dick exploding

Yeah hugh, I think it's a good idea, it sure won't hurt anything. That combined with the new routine of plenty of rest may take care of the problem, we shall see.

I've also started using my IR lamp while here at the computer for stretches, because supposedly they help with deep tissue healing...so hopefully that helps me out.

Metallica, I've sidelined the ADS for now because of other injuries and gone back to manuals..
Stretching of any sort seems to create penis tip spots because of what you grip causes constriction and pressure there.
