i was watching this ray mears programme- he was visiting sweden, it reminded me of what finland is probably like. man it was so pristine and serene out in the wilderness.. i decided id like to check out them countries one day when i have the money . i want to travel a lot.

Yep, tried them all. I'm planning on doing a 2 week canooing trip this summer, I live near one very large lake and there is loads of wilderness to explore + amazingly clean and beautiful nature. The plan is to hire a kayak and get out there alone, with a tent and some camping stuff packed with me. Every night different spot for the tent and a campfire, and every day a new adventure to the next destination... just me, the campfire, my guitar and stars above... can't wait to get out there. If that doesn't heal me from the damage the noisy factory has caused, then I'm beyond repair. :cool

man that sounds cool Bobo, i hear in the later of the year it gets colder and what you do in daylight must not be too much cos it can get dark quickly?

you ever made a pine stove?/
you know where the dry short log is on one end stood up with the notches through it? looks pretty efficient-especially on soft / snow ground.

what kind of tent do you take?
im thinking of taking a tent where im going- canvas would be nice but theres the weight issue.

Sometimes i will leave the computer to do something but most of the time i sign off CC, but sometimes i say to my'self i'll be right back but thats not always the case cause i will forget while doing something.






Ofcourse i can't tell you what i'am doing.

yeah, agreed i go to cc, then sometimes leave it on in the background and come back to it now and then.
