are they happy or sad?

besides it just expresses your sensetive side Valk. thats a positive imo.
it is easy to cry in such cases, especially if `one` is feeling emotional already.
are you feeling emotional Valk?

Valk

Its both happy and sad, dont know how to explain it really.

I'm such a sucker for love stories or other sad movies. I've never cried so much as during Bambi, when his mother died. :(

dude, thats Bambi..
that even stresses the nasty serious.

i remember my english teacher once told us that he was pissed at Disney for making a grown man (him) cry infront of everyone in a cinema.

when bambis mother dies so cries inside, for serious the feelings manifest themselves as violence and aggression. ahh anger, eases the pain. its used to cover up so many emotions...
i am bad with dealing with emotions. i even grin like an idiot when im really angry or sad or stressed sometimes..im not smiling inside and i dont find anything funny..its just like i dunno what else to do.

but hey Valk, almost everyone feels the pain of Bamabi :x

I cried at the end of The Green Mile

great film, i can understand that.
dude i used to cry at most every film, and anything on tv.
actually one time i was looking at my moms camper teapot (tiny thing) it was new and so cute looking i got these weird emotions and right then and there i would have died for that little defenseless teapot. even thinking about it now.
(true story)

my youth was ful of violence pure rage and desperate sadness.
not much has changed really but i havent cried in so long i cant remember how long. sometime last year before august i think. dunno. not that i dont feel it sometimes/always/everyday. its just i refuse to cry, and sometimes i think we can go past tears. like something can stress us so deeply that we dont even cry-we fly past that stage and get deeper.

yes, i see Valk, love stories huh.
any favourite ones?

I cried at the end of the muppets christmas special when alfonso the rat hugged kermit the frog and told him that even though they are both made out of second hand towels, they are different muppet-speciies but their homosexual love was still epitomised by the spirit of the festive and I do mean festive season (I can't believe you are still reading this).

Valk
10th May 2005, 12:27 PM
I'm OK, feeling a bit numb. And my left shoulder is aching. I hope it isnt permanent.

soserious
10th May 2005, 02:15 PM
numb? aching shoulder?
you been sleeping on your side on the floor or something?

Valk
10th May 2005, 02:49 PM
numb was referring to my emotional state.

The aching shoulder is my physical state. Maybe a rotator cuff injury. :?
Fuck, now i cant train my shoulder for a while, and they're my weakest point :neut:

Now enough about me
How are you today, SS?

soserious
10th May 2005, 02:57 PM
me? i got a cold or flu.
hungry.
achy.
tired.
bored.
blah.
big headache.

but anyways, i thought numb referred to your emotional state, but i wasnt sure.
howd you hurt your rotator cuff?
my shoulders pull forward real bad, my upper middle back is weak i guess. why are you shoulders your week point? whats your status bro?

Valk
10th May 2005, 03:08 PM
I dont know why my shoulder is a weak point. Weak joints I quess.
Its only my left shoulder though.

soserious
10th May 2005, 03:20 PM
ok. hmm, any structural problems?
you eat a decent diet with enough calcium and vitamin C for the colagen and joint tissue ect?

my problems beghan when i would do lots of push ups and nothing really for the back, especially middle upper back.

is your training fairly balanced? an unbalanced wokout schedule will worsen any weak points.

alright people break it up, break it up nothing to see here.
i dont know whats going on but it dont sound good.

alright, how about movies you/anyone cried watching and why..
as i said i havent cried in many months, probably nearing a year. but i have cried a lot in my life for various different reasons.

for example: fifth element, i turn that film up, love the chases, the fight stuff and ovcourse the weaponry. love it when corben dallas is driving lelu around escaping in the cab when she falls in. also the bit when the bad guy is demonstrating the weapon to the megalors. and the sequence between the diva singing and the megalors fighting lelu and when the bomb is there. "for..the honour..."

it hypes me up seeing certain stuff.

gladiator was too but partly cos it reminded me of my dead brother,
when they were fighting i was feeling like joining in-even if i got killed.
i really respect true honour and value of life.

If a movie doesn't make me laugh, cry, or pump some adrenaline into my veins, it's a crappy movie. When I read a book or watch a movie, there shouldn't be anything messing up my concentration... when I can totally put my mind into the movie or book, I get sucked into it and sort of "live" through it. If something happens like the phone rings or similar, I "wake up" from the book or a movie like I'd have been dreaming. Use Your mind: don't only watch or read it, experience & live it!
