Ok this is the thread where u post ideas for meals, snacks, whatever that u can chew or drink that is tasty and healthy. U can suggest one healthy snack that is tasty and healthy to substitute something similar but not so healthy.

Here's a couple of ideas I have:

Instead of bread with butter try dipping the bread in olive oil with marjoram!!

Instead of drinking Ice Tea or Nestea try making ur own Ice Tea, do earl grey tea put some lemon juice and sugar(if u want) in it and put it in the fridge or just add ice if u want to drink it right away.

I like snacking on fresh cold Pineapple,

although high in fat (supposedly healthy good fat) nuts (walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, peanuts, cashews) are high in fiber and protein.

I like em for a snack becuase no preparation

Easy,healthy meal.

Get some frozen (or fresh) fish fillets, a bunch or two of spinach, a knob of garlic, 1 small onion (or more if you like), and 2 large cans of tomatoes.

In a wide bottom pan/pot, Chop garlic and onion(s), sautee in olive oil.

Drop in the fish, season with salt and pepper. Cover the fish with spinach, season with salt and pepper. Cover the spinach with the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper.

Cook on low heat until the fish is done.

Tear up some nice bread, and enjoy.

Add some corriander and/or lemon grass for a Thai touch. Red pepper flakes don't hurt either..

For starters congrats on eating healthy, But diet season is over.

That being said I like to drink 1 or 2 protein shakes a day, without any added sugars. Keep bread and fruit servings down to 3 full servings each, eat lean sources of protein ie: 4 egg whites and 1 whole egg, turkey (NOT DELI MEAT), chicken breasts, and keep beef down to 1 serving a day. As for fats, they are healthy but try cooking with Pam and chosing 1% milk at least. And DON'T EAT CARBS FOR # HOURS BEFORE BED, this will lead to an increase in body fat.

You could also try those flavored fiber drinks.

I tried to make brownies with out fat and using protein powder. It tasted like a big, thick, horrible mistake!!! I have had success in the past with adding protein powder but I a, still looking for a good fat substitute; besides trans fatty margerine.

Well it's pizza hut pizza for me tonight. I hate to do it but I've got a paper I'm trying to half my ass through because it's going to be a busy weekend. Oh well.

just throw some chicken in the oven or open a can of tuna and eat a salad with it.

I just made some fat free brownies that were pretty good, but I still need to work with them because they were a little dense. I used fat free cottage cheese instead of butter, but the dense whole wheat flour is where I messed up.

BTW, you fucked up on the pizza! 550 cal a slice, you could have just as easily downed a protein shake or cooked some chicken/ beef in the oven in the time it took to order.

Have u guys ever tried apple pureé? It's great! Just make sure to add some cinamon and lemon to get that spicy taste. It's not only very healthy but it's also great to eat with meat plates and whatnot. Don't add any sugar, it's not needed, it's like eating a good dessert and your meal at the same time! yummi!:D

Low fat brownies

Ingredients:

1/2 cup fat free cotttage cheese
1 whole egg
1 tbsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup splenda

1/2 cup white flour
6 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder

Start by putting the first 5 ingredients into a blender, cover and set on liquify for 30 sec. Then combine with the dry ingredients and pour into an oven same dish sprayed with Pam baking spray. Bake until set.

I don't have a working oven right now so I made mine i the microwave. The taste was there but the constancy was too thick, still needs some work. Here are a few ideas on how.

You could try using 2 egg whites instead of a whole egg to lighten the load. The baking powder can be upped to 1 tbsp because the cheese makes the finished product very dense. I guess you could just use splenda and keep the sugar out. Lastly, 2 scoops chocolate protein powder can be added if you wish.

A colleague of mine recalled how he and his current girlfriend got together. He asked her if she liked fruit. She said she did. He said "suck my cock, it's a peach". Funny thing is, there about to have a child together. Who said corny lines dont work!!

True story.
