View Full Version : Bloody count.

Yesterday Tony Blair was very disappointed after seeing his count in Sedgefield. It wasn't the count he was expecting, it didn't react or move, it was down actually. He even tried the magic words "are you thinking what I am thinking", but even that didn't make the count react. He may have to re-think his approach during this third term to see if his count will smile at him again...

'Are you thinking what we're thinking?' was the Tories' slogan though.
All I can say is thank Christ they didn't get in.

I know, it was meant to be a pun (the "count" isn't as happy as it used to be). When our count isn't in the mood to cheer us up, we could try "are you thinking what I am thinking?". Most likely is... it will not work.
Anyway, I'm with you. Thank heaven.
By the way, are you an immigrant? You sound like one you know... Romanian, maybe?

You've lost me, I'm afraid. Not sure what you mean with the 'count' and the '...what we're thinking' thing.
Oh, and the Romanian thing! Crossed wires, I guess.

Perhaps he's thinking your home has wheels and is towed by a white Transit and you do a good line in clothes-pegs and lucky heather.

i saw all that crap as it was going on. actually i felt really sick and worn out and watching the results come in for the constituancies was making me feel iler.
but anyway, this morning, i was heading somewhere and this guy who reminded me of ZW was walking along slightly ahead of me with the rest of the early morning commuters.

Goddy, Goddy... 'count' - cunt! Does it make sense now?
Let me see that cunt (count) going up...
'are you thinking what I'm thinking?' to see if the cunt (count) reacts.
I think my comedy skills needs some patchwork. :(

I think you're just too clever for us.
It seems your elections have the same problem as many around: not one party is actually worth voting for. I still can't quite believe that Blair has the nerve to say: I've heard that the voters are against the war... oh well, let's not dwell on the past, let's think of the future. Does he really think people are that stupid?

its not really a good or bad thing, but if i had to look at it like that i would say its a positive influence.

It does Clock, really weird. But it's a good thing cuz we can relate to each other. Afterall, we all had the courage to join a PE site, expose your doubts and insecurities and, one way or the other, help one another. Just the fact that we know, once we log in, we can somewhat detach ourselves from the worries of daily life is a great comfort and encouragement.
