I was just wondering if the grip you use to stretch could cause something to go wrong with your penis. I'm not really worried, but I just don't want to do anything I'm going to regret. So, someone please let me know.

Ive never thought it could, and people stretch all the time so i seriously doubt it.

the common grip is this:
First you want to stretch the shaft skin away from the head and towards the base. Then you use an OK grip around the frenelum (the section just under the head). Then you iwll be stretching the ligaments properly.

If you study the anatomy of the penis, you see a bunch of nerves, veins and arteries on top of the penis. I tend to modify my grip so that I aply the least amount of pressure at the top of my penis.

So would you say you perhaps do the stretching maybe from the middle of your penis ?

If you look at the picture below you see that the arteries are on the top of whole the shaft of your penis. Thus I could be bad for you if you aply to much pressure on top of your penis, no matter where on the shaft.
I assumed that by "middle" you meant the middle of the shaft (thus in a horizontal plane) and not more to the underside of the penis.
If by "middle" you meant "not on top, but more the underside of the penis", then the answer on your question is yes.

I hope that this makes sense because I'm not English and sometimes I dont understand myself either.
Now, there are dozens of other ways to grap your penis for stretching but I will show you one that I use sometimes for left, right, up and down stretching. I will show you a sketch that explains it for stretching to the left.
