The poll wasn't there - the software must put the post up while you're fiddling with the poll options.

Shouldn't that read Girlfriend/Wife/Partner (for the gay community here)

Ed

don't gay guys sometimes refer to their partner as girlfriend? But, otherwise, point taken. Any other major stressors that could make a fellows life miserable?

Probably my job. Isn't that tied to money?

Also the fact that I'm having a house built isn't helping matters much either.

Ed

Job, definately. A few years back I would have killed to get a job like I have now, but reality isn't really that amazing. With good money comes great responsibility and a shitload of things to do. With half of my current salary (not too much, but more than I've used to), I could get 1/8 of the stress and responsibilities... damn it would be nice and easy to be a happy little worker again who gets to go home at the same minute the factory whistle blows. At my current position a normal 8 hour day isn't possible at all. "Go to school" they said... "get an education" they told me... fuck it! I would settle for alot less.

In many cases job and money can overlap as a stress, but if you are having trouble with your boss, office politics, personality conflicts, overworked, etc All work and no play makes Johnny a sad prick.

The wife. But it's all good now. :D

We always make up quick. And then we're like, I was mad at you over that?

Katsz

Yes, marriage. She's my girl. Now I just gotta tell her about PE, or have her wake up right now and find me on this website.

wern
4th May 2005, 03:19 AM
I've already offered to tell her. :mrgreen

What no school?????

wern
4th May 2005, 03:54 AM
hmm it'd make sense to put school up as an option and to make the poll public. Then who ever votes for "school" gets "investigated".

OneMoreRep
4th May 2005, 04:26 AM
Lol, Then College/Unversity?

wern
4th May 2005, 05:32 AM
yeh, but then you still won't have the option you want to tick, will you OMR>>???Q!!!

Ed

I wonder if there was the following option: too much stress because I'm lying about my age on CC... if anyone would check it? It seems the underagers are like lemmings.

By the way, I can't figure out how to add other poll options, if anyone would care to chip in.

That one about the underage would have probably won the most counts i'am sure! :cool

Spike

Valk

People here can't even make there own poll anymore.
As soon as they turn their back higher authorities take over. :( :o

Spike
6th May 2005, 12:58 AM
Somebody asked for them.

Valk
6th May 2005, 01:00 AM
I was only joking. :D

Ed

Geee, it's almost like praying to a higher power and having your prayers answered. Thank you Go... I mean Spike.

Spike

So you (the thread starter) don't get a little "Edit Poll" up at the top right?

Can't change from Private to Public halfway through, so everyone will be anonymous.

Ed
7th May 2005, 06:20 PM
Unless the "Edit Poll" is in a black font, I can't see anything.

Spike
7th May 2005, 09:34 PM
In red font in the same position as the #36 here ---------------------------^

Ed
8th May 2005, 01:04 AM
Starting to feel stupid... but no, there is nothing remotely ressembling "edit poll". There is an "edit" but that only lets me edit the text message and not the poll.

Spike
8th May 2005, 08:45 AM
Good. :cool

i think there should be a general "hobby" option for us masochists.
