Is there a way we can get CC back on the first page when somebody searches for "penis enlargement (+ forum)??
I thought it would be nice to have some more folks around here.
If nothing works I can always go spamming around.

Well, I assume you're joking about the spamming - If not, forget about that.

On the google rank: Yes, there are plenty of ways. It depends on whether they're worth the time, effort and possibly money. And on whether we as a group want any more public exposure/members.

More people is good. Spamming is bad. Site promotion in appropriate places in appropriate ways is good.

Want CC to be top in google? me too.. We need links. Quality links from related sites, that will help immensely.:D

Are there sites where you dont have to pay to put a link to your site?
Maye those general PE sites with lots of links to commercial products but also to free sites.

Start a blog about your PE exploits.

Form an alliance with another site. Ie supplement sites, other PE forums, health sites etc. The more high-traffic sites link to this site the higher your google ranking.

On the downside this is selling-out.

I was thinking it'd be better to cap members at 500 and prune anyone who couldn't manage 1 post a month.

Delete the leachers.

I agree, Spike. Let's keep the "Small Town Feel" about CC.

Point taken, but when would be members come to these forums for the first time, they may get a very positive feeling when they see large stats. And they may think "hmm this is a big community, I'd like to actively participate in this". Or they may not.

If there were hundreds of guys posting here on a regular basis, it would become impossible to read most postings and so you would have to pick and chose what you read. That means you would not get the full monty.

in the old forums you had lots of members and I think it wasn't a big problem finding info, plus you got much more diverse feedback when you posted. There are some very experienced PE'ers on the new forums so I have no complaints :cool

In the case of CC I do believe more is better. When many of you joined (spike, goddy, billy, oldie and other old skool cru) we WERE top of google for free PE, chances are you would have never have found this site had we not been - hence the problem new guys have finding us.

Generally, if you are not on the first page of Google for related search terms - you don't exist! How many times have you searched for something only to find no related sites or just some crappy ones and then thought, oh well, there are no good sites out there on the subject?... I do this all the time. I know there ARE good sites out there, but if Google doesn't know about them, I ain't gonna be finding them.

CC will ALWAYS have a small town feel because it is our culture here. You can't easily change that. Even with a million members (jesus) we'd still have clockers in his hotpants and cowboy boots, me talking shit about women, oldie abrasively rubbing people the wrong way (and the right way), spikey with his endless wisdom, the almighty green man bobo and his immense aura of loyalty and sense of good... the list goes on (sorry if you aren't on it, I could literally go on forever.:D

Yup! I'll still be here :mrgreen but not with though's hot pants though there gone, i'am thinking of getting me a new pair of boots.. :) But this time i'am not getting cowboy boots i'am thinking of cool looking black boots that will look good with my jeans, maybe something in the line of biker boots but not sure i will go looking soon. :cool

That's a pity because " clockers in hot pants" get's a No1 hit on Google.

I enjoy the small town feel too but these days the town is a bit too small in my opinion. Dont get me wrong, I dont want a board with millions of members where you never really get to know someone.
But what I do want is more active PE-related discussions.

Even now i sometimes find it hard to keep up with discussions as i often dont have the time to read a pages worth of posts to rejoin in a particular thread. I wouldnt want CC to get too big.

BTW, the google search for: oldie and clockers

'Headline: Oldie has bummed matt and is jealous cos matt dumped oldie for clockers.

Good thing i trust fellow regulars here at CC not to track me down and do nasty stuff to me :cheeky:
