Astroglide. It gets the job done, but soon my wife is gonna wonder why the bottle is draining so quickly. Don't know how I'll answer that one. :?

Isn't that what gay guys use for buttsex?

Well if you want a lube that works and doesn't dry out...... ask a gay bloke.

Not found Wet Light in the UK yet. Alternatives are Liquid Silk & Super Slik.

But for PE I prefer Olive Oil - slick but grippy at the same time.

(Added some more choices and moved the 3 of you who declared your preferences from "other" to "WBSL")

PS If anyone's thinking of starting a poll - THINK the fucking answers out more carefully in future. I thank you.

For any of you olive oil users, are there any issues with it smelling after?

ArTee63

I've tried it before. No smell really.

Just an un-explainable craving for a good salad. :D

I like the Rite-Aid generic brand of KY water-based gel lubricant. I believe it works just as well as KY, but is considerably cheaper. I prefer water-based lubricants because they wash off easily with just water. So usually, I try to do my wet jelqs right before taking a shower.

Vaseline is too much trouble for me to first wipe off, and then wash off. But I notice that a large number of responders do prefer to use it. So apparently it's not too much trouble for a lot of people.

I use KY JellY Warming Liquid...the stuff last for awhile without having to reapply (I take my time when doing wet jelqs, so I'll usually be at it for 20 minutes or so while only doing like 150 wet jelqs).

I was considering trying KY JellO, but I thought perhaps this is one of those rare instances when there is truly NO MORE room for jello...

baby oil is my prefer choice. I like the slickness and they seem to stay that way for a long time. Cleaning it after finishing my PE doesn't bother me.

Vaseline... it's affordable, effective, and the tub lasts a long time... I still have over 75% left and I've had it for half a year...

Vaseline all the way. Cheap, easily available and you won't get funny looks for buying it in the shops. :mrgreen

I've never heard of it either, partly why it stood out in the list.

But now I notice 6 people use something that's not on the list - WTF are they using? Butter?

Vaseline by far is the best. It lasts forever and gives you a good slide. The only downside of it is that it is kinda messy.

OLIVE OIL!

that's right you heard me, and i have a few points i'd like to compare that might make you switch to that if you use other products:

1# Price - olive oil, you can get huge bottles for practically nothing! not to mention that you really don't need a lot too. I have a 1 litter bottle right now, there was about 1/5 when i started and i've been using it for 2 and 1/2 weeks now, and it's barely gone down.

2# Stares? - let's face it, easy to hide, easy to buy, and easy to explain the smell on your hands if someone asks (just tell them you hate a salad with olive oil).

3# Extra bonus? - That's right! you heard me, this wasn't something i though about at first but then i realised something, consider this - have you ever tried feeding olive oil to a cat? it makes their fur all soft and very shiny. Well we humans can benefit from this too! after a little research i've found that olive oil is loaded with vitamin E and minerals that help get rejuvenate the skin (and also roots for your hair), and get this, you don't necessarily need to drink it to get the benefits, applying olive oil on your skin can help with problems such as dry/damaged skin. what at better way to complete your workout than by adding a little extra for your penis?

anyways i'm gonna stick to olive oil, i've tried it with vaseline and astro-glide but this still stays my top choice :D

Neutrogena body oil was a popular option a few years ago, and was my lube of choice when I started. It's similar to olive oil, but I imagine it tastes a bit worse.
