Anyone heard of him? His last post was posted on 9th October 2006.

I feel a bit bad for some of the things I said to him, but it was necessary to get his full attention. I'm sad to see he left CC for good (it seems), that wasn't my intention. Somehow CC doesn't seem the same without him, excluding of course some of his most recent nazism-labeled rants.

I'm a bit worried and it would be nice to hear from him. Anyone heard anything? :?

Valk

I heard from him a couple of times. As expected, after he left CC he got sucked in the pro-white even more. What he's exactly up to at this moment, I dont know. But I bet its still the same: nothing.

Bobo, don't beat yourself up about it man. You're one of the few people that had a chance of getting through to him. At least you tried. It is a shame, as the guy was clearly intelligent though very misguided in his views. I didnt really know him before he started going off on one but his post count (and some of the content) suggests that he was well liked. Maybe he'll find his way back someday, when he's got all the negativity out of his system. :neut:

He was (and probably still is) not a standard person by any measure. His way of thinking and vivid imagination never seized to amaze me. It makes me extremely sad that he's wasting his exceptional personality to that white nationalist bullshit. He has this fascinating child-like interest on everything, yet he doesn't seem to be a "simple" person, quite the opposite. Some of his thinking patterns were actually quite complex, and I admired him for that.

Well, whatever he decides to do with his life, I hope he'll be ok. I also hope that he's as smart as he seemed to be so that he will eventually see what a bunch of airheads those white nationalists are. If not, I may have overestimated his intelligence big time.

If any of You guys hear from him, say "hi" from Bobo. Thank You. :D

It's sad that he has become even more involved in the white-supremacist propaganda. I'm glad he has left CC alone during this "journey". The last thing we need is that sort of poison around.

White-supremacy will eventually die out as the rate of inter-racial breeding continues, and the CC community is multicultural already.

I would be happy to see him return without his views, but - realistically - I believe his hate-filled views mixed with his obsessive and volatile personality form a complex situation that would require professional help to remedy.

I believe he's one of the good ones at heart, but other influences in his life has pushed him to the wrong road. He was a lonely guy, hiding in that basement and afraid of the world. He was hungry for approval from other people but his fears kept him imprisoned.

What I fear most is, he may have found new friends and acceptance from those white nationalist groups, and that feeling of being a part of something may block him from seeing who he really is. At least based on our CC friendship I don't feel this is really who he is.

I hope he will realize some day that he doesn't need that airhead group to feel whole. I really do.

wern
26th February 2007, 10:25 PM
I'm glad I never knew him face to face. The thought of losing a RL friend in this way would really cut me deep.

He was a lonely guy, and according to Valk he continues to be a lonely guy, but now he is a lonely hate-filled guy. The problem is that he blames his personal issues on other people, and currently those people are the non-whites.

I believe the road to getting better would involve him actually getting out and "living". At the moment he is probably poisoning himself by secluding himself in that dark basement.

What's the deal there Valk? Are you serious? What kinda help you tried to give soserious?

I feel a bit strange about soserious telling me few times that I was almost like a role model to him. I actually never quite understood what he meant by that. I gave him quite alot of support when he was having issues about his appearance and the way he felt like he was "deteriorating". Like I always told Valk, I told soserious that how he perceives himself carries a great deal of residues from what people who surround you make you believe and that it is a whole load of bullshit. You must fight it. But he kept on and on about those issues to the point of almost insanity... I guess that he eventually canalized his own issues towards a bigger cause and, out of delusion or something, decided that the cause of the problem comes from racial issues which is completely distorted. I feel sorry if he really embarked on this dark voyage and I can only hope he manages to reinvent himself wihtout the deceptive stratagem of racial issues.

Yeah, many of us tried to talk some sense and help the poor guy, but sometimes it felt like he didn't even want to get better. No matter how good the advice was, it never did seem to have any effect on him. He just kept on soaking in his misery. Sometimes it even felt like he prefered it that way, but I still find it difficult to believe.

But, because of that, we shouldn't beat ourselves up over this matter because we tried our best and it seems there was absolutely nothing anyone could do really. All the constructive advice just went in his one ear and flew out of the other. :?

I think alot of depressed people actually prefer to stay in their current state, because for them its a safe, well-known bubble. Trying to battle your way out of a depression is entering a world of uncertainties and new emotions.

Bobo
27th February 2007, 04:59 PM
That's true if the depression has lasted a very long time. I also know that when deeply depressed, the person doesn't even care wether he gets better or not. SS seemed to want to get better but he wasn't prepared to do anything about it. He had simply given up on himself.

I have a friend who has been depressed for a few years. I don't know how serious it is, because I am one of his closest friends and he only told me about it years after it began.

I suggested to him that he see a psychologist, but he never did. It was as if he accepted it is a thing to live life with. :?

Bobo
27th February 2007, 09:34 PM
I have a friend too who's in such bad shape that he hasn't even been able to work for the last twelve years. Nothing seems to help.... :x

Well, I was depressed myself too for a bit over an year, ate two different anti-depressants and visited a shrink regularly. During that time I couldn't get out of the bed for months... it definately wasn't funny at all. But I was one of the lucky ones and survived, and I'm feeling pretty good now. Not taking any medication anymore but I still see the shrink once a month.

I never leave people who need help, and SS's absence from CC makes me feel extremely nervous. I know I could help him for sure if he lived nearby, but via CC it's almost impossible. Actually, in his case, it IS impossible.

I hope he's ok. Not judging him based on what he wrote or what he become, because I don't believe it's really in his heart... he's simply lost big time. :x

Valk
2nd March 2007, 01:16 PM
The absence of SS is not because he's doing/has done stupid things, its because he felt like his thoughts weren't appreciated anymore at CC. When everyone calls you a Nazi somewhere, its pretty logical that you're not gonna stay at that place.

What I get out of our sporadic communication, that he is basicly the same: His mind is working overhours but his body is doesnt anything.

Bobo
2nd March 2007, 01:19 PM

It's very easy to become jaded when life is not going your way. I think he needs to learn to understand that there are certain things in life that you can do little, or nothing, about. The trick is accepting this fact and concentrating your efforts on the things that you do have influence over.

Put it down to the idealism of youth I guess :neut:

Put it down to the idealism of youth I guess :neut:

People often concentrate too much on what they don't have, and don't see the good things. There are always good things around everyone, but the attitude You have towards life may blind You from them forever.

The cop chick found out that I'm back in the country, and she called me tonight. i miss him ss tho i dont think its right to hate him cuz hes so confused and lost. the way i see a ss is a young guy with a shitty job, cramped basement apartment and no real motivation to do anything. its sad and we can all agree hes a good person at heart but he wants everything to change so bad hes willing to do ridiculous things. i mean cmon... hes basically being trained to be a terrorist. sure he might not suicide bomb anything but i think beating other people up to put their beliefs over others is terrorism right there. i dont know, i mean i only know neo nazis from what i see on hollywood (american history x) so i might have a bias view on what they actually believe in. coming from a 'colored' person i dont hate anyone though i understand that sterotypes will always exist and to some extent they are correct. i dont mean to be racist but i think chris rock said it best, 'there are black people and then there are niggas. the black person is ur average joe that works has a family etc and the nigga is the guy that fucks things up by robbing people etc and giving black people a bad name' makes so much sense really, the minority fucks everything up for the ethnicity as a whole. lets take islam as an example, we know islam does NOT teach to kill people or preach it in anyway. there are millions of good muslims that preach and exercise their faith the way it was supposed to be done but you get these fuckin idiots that ruin it for everyone else and sadley we dont see the good only the bad - and that makes us quick to judge. i think everyone really needs to lighten up tho - everyone wants whats best for their race and ethnicity, plus even if we had only ONE race in the world you dont think we would have a form of racism? guys with certain eye or hair colors would be seen as (insert racist term here) and the list could go on. i think it really has to do with the human drive to evaluate somone to put them in the genetic order. ofcoarse somone with certain traits is going to be seen as less 'human' than others. i donno fuck im just blabbing im not wise in anyway but i think im just smart enough to realize that sometimes bullshit is everywhere.

Two things:

1) The Koran is not as proscriptive as the Bible. It explicitly states that some concepts are meant to be taken literally, some metaphorically (bummer they don't tell you which, but still.)
2) I'm pretty confident that Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all have rules regarding combat. The Koran, however, explicitly states that killing women, children, and non-combatants is strictly prohibited.

In this world, there are two types of religion. The first, "high" religion, seeks the spiritual transcendence and focuses of God or the "ultimate concern." The second, "low" religion, is manipulation designed to fulfill the basest of human desires and propagate the agendas of pathetic individuals. The Islam known to us through terrorism and fundamentalism is low, and so many people mistake that part for the whole of the religion. SS's perceptions were based largely on this fallacy.
