Size is basically the only restriction... the number of pixels allowed made it kind of tough for me...

I think I'm going to need some advice / help sorting the avatar.

Any volunteers??

I think I'll go with the poll option:lol:

Are there any file types that have lower density? The lowest pic I have so far is 12kb.

Is that allowed?

Check the Moderator Handbook, page 34, Article VI, paragraph 3.

"Avatar creation is the sole responsibility of the user. If the user can not create an avatar, for whatever reason, then a Moderator or Administrator may perform said duty free of any compensation"

I believe you still have the old version of the handbook. I got the new one 3 days ago. The section you quoted got replaced with this:

"Abuse your position and power regularly to satisfy and inflate your ego.
Bribes, fees and other dirty tactics are all at your disposal."

Some downloads will be from other sites where you need to sign up first. If nothing happens or an error pops up you've probably found one - demonoid is one, good site though, keeps riff-raff out and has quality stuff.

Worth reading the comments before grabbing something.
