View Full Version : Is taking an off day necessary?

Are there actually any benefits to taking days off? Does it actually help growth? I'm not a noob but I don't know how to transfer my name to the new forum. I have always wondered about this...

Yes you need the off days to give your penis time to rest/recover/heal.. :cool

you have to give your body time to recover. it would be like training your chest 5 days week. you would go backwards. because you do damage to the penis by PE'ing. and it takes time to recover, so if you do it the next day and you havent recovered you will just do damage on damage. which will take longer to recover, and wont be ready to grow.

i disagree with the above statement. u cant talk about muscles and the penis in the same way. my theory is u keep stretching the penis over a period of 5 days then u let it rest for 2 then repeat and this will give u the best results. ur penis has to be stretched in order to stay that way. like stretching a rubber band, if u just stretch it a little it will go back, if u keep it stretched for awhile it will stay elastic and eventually stay that way. to sum it up yes rest days are needed but are not really needed every other day like most people here do it. i have seen gains doing this and some people say it takes them 6 months to see even slight gains doing it that way. u try and u be the judge.

i'd agree, complete rest days are not needed every other day IMO... i alternate between an intense workout and a LIGHT one.

Some people PE every other day. Some PE 2 days on, 1 off. Some PE 5 days on, 2 off but most rest at some point during the week.

My guess would be to try it the way with 5 on 2 off and then if that didn't work slow down some. I think M-W-F has its benefits though. I think either way you will be on your way to achieving a goal of a strong and healthy penis :D

magnum you said you dont need rest days. but then you say that 5 on and 2 off is best. those two off are rest days. unless you do something on those days which i didnt see you mention.
