Performing is the future. Albums should be used to attract people to concerts, whereas it up untill now concert were designed to shift more units of an album. In this digital era there is just to many music or other entertainment battling for our attention to expect people to pay for (all) music.

I agree - the days of racking up a $1bn fortune from album sales must be nearing the end. Talent should win over celebrity twats. Fuck the RIAA Sony/BMG etc - they're not needed any more.

If you listen to mainstream British radio/TV you'd think there were only 10 bands in the world and all British/American - I like that site because of the absence of UK/US shite.
