I love strength and power and a good shape. It can be used to impress people, and ward off threats.
But I dislike bodybuilding in that I don`t like the poses and routines and the little thong shit. Impressive but not what it would be in my head. Like, If I was that built I would be using it everyday and to hell with posing and stuff.
I mean it is far cooler to watch a juggernaught of a beast fighting and expressing that power and strength rather than simply being constrained in posing gear.
I mean like in commando when Arnold is killing lots of people its better to watch then someone doing poses on a stage.. Poses on a stage is like branding a big assault rifle.. without a single magazine or 5.56x45mm standard NATO round in sight..
I myself wish I was in great physical shape and aethetical too. I think I lost weight cos I got sick last week for a week and teh heat.

Still, even a assault rifle firing muscleman can not compare to the sheer destructive beauty of a real predator.

I used to be in to 'body building'.. but now I'm more interested in strength, endurance, flexibility, and speed training.
Being all muscled up isn't good for much, other than posing in little thongs.
Too much meat requiring too much oxygen.. What ever strength you gain from the ridiculous size, is negated by the loss of flexibility, speed, and endurance.
Now I know a few guys are going to have a thing or two to say about.. Demon, I summon thee.
As always, to each their own.. Whatever floats your boat.

I love them in this order: Strength . muscle.
Strength ALWAYS comes first.
I don`t want to weigh like 280 lbs... 200 would be great. 200 with nice shape and decent strength and power and everything would be great.
I think I agree, I like dynamic strength, plus my new interest requires flexibility, suppleness, agility and speed and stamina.
This is tricky since I can`t run with my knee hurting for long. I really miss running.
I don`t look nice skinny.. especially my upper torso and neck and traps. Valk I`m sure can understand this too.

You know me all to well mate =) By the way, that "get more muscle, get less flexibility" theory or whatever the hell you want to call it..iswell..you guessed it..
100% grade A BULLSHIT.I wont spit out the homework on here, but doing a little research doesn't hurt. :D I like you shrooms but I hate you at the same time (penis size, bastard :P) You can have great flexibility, great speed, and great endurance if you gain muscle. You *may* (notice, I said "MAY") have to do extra strength or a little bit of endurance training (high reps, lower weight, etc. etc.) but you can still be more flexible than the computer geek who weighs no more than your 10 yr old sister. Bleh, I should throw up articles on here but guess what? It's wednesday and I just got home, which means it's PEing time! And damn...it feels good to be back

You can have great flexibility, great speed, and great endurance if you gain muscle.
So why don't we see more 100m sprinters also winning the 1000m, 5000m & 10,000m events?
And who's to say the computer geek doesn't do yoga and run triathalons?
And why hasn't Mr Olympia ever competed in any Olympic weight lifting event (aside from the problem of failing the drug test).
I agree some weight training will increase your flexibility, enhance your speed and up your endurance over a couch potato, but not to any recognised world beating standard - except those posing contests.

The huge guys and girls are impressive to see and freaky, but I would never want taht for myself. At some point it goes from looking damn cool to unattractive and just not right. I think it may have to do with the drugs that many take (many, not all). I mean a certain amount of muscle and strength is attractive, but it can go too far in my humble opinion.
Personally, if I grew up in some small town or village and had a big dong and had no feelings of threats or being in danger and was good looking and stuff.. I probbaly wouldn`t care, I`d just be slim muscled like 150lbs and be fine with that.
AS it is my life is different, and teh more threatened I feel teh more muscle and strength I want.
Like huge will help ward off threats- but isn`t attractive.
Smaller may eb more attractive but will see me get beaten up too easily, or killed.
I am trying to go for around 200lbs (give or take) I think. If I can get to roughly there and get my fat down and be as supple as I can and stuff then I think I will have done pretty well. I think 200lbs is plenty for my build. I have been heavier than that but when I was younger and not so damn worn out. So those times are irrelevant.

Is this irrational fear (I think youve mentioned paranoia before) or do you genuinely have a reason to be constantly worried? If you do, why? London is a first world city, it shouldnt be that dangerous.

London is not Beirut to be damn sure, but ask any Londoner, any real Londoner how safe they feel in London and you will hear it more and more. London is not a nice place in general. No, this isn`t just paranoia talking, I genuinley feel that strength and size for intimidation is very beneficial in such a place.
It frustartes me how slow it takes to get bigger and stronger, matter of fact in what? 6 or 7 years I have infact ended up weaker and smaller despite all the effort.
The whole London thing stresses us, the mental energy is very fatiguing, even just a commute to work is exhausting and infuriating.
I genuinly rationally feel under threat here. Just stepping outside my house and onto public transport like the underground has my heart rate race and my adrenaline making me feel sick. This kind of constant defense neccesray makes me a hostile agressive person, which no doubt comes through here on Cc.
Feel free to chime in other Londoners.

Hrmm..
"The whole London thing stresses us, the mental energy is very fatiguing, even just a commute to work is exhausting and infuriating."
I'm from the states but have gone to London many times, I get the exact opposite feeling. Less mental energy, no worries, etc. I guess it's because I don't live there and I AM on vacation but I still got a different vibe from London than all of the other countries in europe. I felt more liberated, more free to walk arround and no hassles.
Here in the states, I feel like I'm chained or something..I don't work hard at all but there's this vibe that I can't quite explain. It seems to me that in europe, the women over there would just want sex for enjoyment rather than a social status (in the states, if you aren't good in the sack, everyone of her friends knows about ti and if you're in school the WHOLE school knows). So in the states, it's like the olympics when you're having sex. You HAVE to perform your best...and you HAVE to give her 20 orgasms or you're considered bad.
Which reminds me at the bar the other day, I overheard a girl's conversation and it went, "...so yeah he didn't even give me 5 orgasms..." I nearly choked on my beer and almost laughed my ass off. Ahhh, american women suck :P

London is Valhala compared to where I am from. Been here for 6 years and the rough nights that make it on the news, would be lucky to make it in the papers, and even if it did, it would be next to the comics.
SS you got nothing to be afraid of dude.
