So?
Tactically and politically there is so much scope and possibility. So much dangerous treachery also.
Ovcourse, let us imagine that we have a new computer game out, similar to CIV, but that the goal is to take inhabited lands and alter them but keep the locals from rioting, even accepting and helping you.
How would you do it perhaps? What too of the potential problems to be overcome?

Dude..
You simply *have* to get yourself a copy of Civ.. 2,3, or 4 (or all of them).
You'd love it.
But to answer your question.. I'd build an army of Fish Speakers. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fish_Speakers)

I would invade it from inside out.

I downloaded some copy version of CIV game and it was confusing.
From inside out? How would that be? Like immerse yourself and your army first and then take it over politically thus using the powers that be to work for you rather than against you?
Tactically I wonder if it would make more sense to invade the countries so that it was like a chess game. Or start from one angle at a natural geographic barrier and work your way across it like a wall. Hmm.

The CIV game had a bunch of weird command windows, and a screen where a guy was next to a bit of field. It didn`t make sense at all.
Real things make alot more sense than that and I am a video gamer since mario on the nes., no wait, since that tic tac game that was like tennis..
No, it wasn`t actual CIV game, it was supposedly a copy.
I played some game or other on my friends Sega when I was like 16 or 17 that made more sense where you buiilt cities and stuff. But seriously, taht game I downloaded- confused.

Well.. if it was a real CIV game.. they all come with built in tutorials, and civ-lopedias.
I *highly* recommend you try it. It takes a little time.. but I dont recall being too overwhelmed with my first crack at it.. Like I said.. they all have tutorials, it will tell you how to play.
It's not an 'action' game.. it's a strategy game. I can't imagine you not liking it.

No, it wasn`t a real CIV game. It just kind of left me looking at the screen not understanding what the hell it all meant or even what the point was (NO tutorial). I`ll see what my friends have.

I can`t sleep. It`s tooooo hot.
I haven`t been sleeping properly, this time cos of teh heat.
See, I don`t sleep inn my room again, I just stay up late until I can`t take it anymore and crash out as I am on my futon, no cover, just the clothes I fall asleep in. Remote control in one hand, tv on and volume low. I get a couple hours then wake up dehydrated and hot and do ita ll over again. I am way tired but yeah, it`s too hot to sleep.
Yesterday was one if not the hottest day of the year, my temperature guage currently reads 25 degrees.
Think I`m going to go grab an Orange Juice ice lolly..
