I've been doing Kegels for a few years, but I honestly haven't seen any improvement in terms of lasting power. When I started doing kegels I was under the assumption that strengthing the PC muscle would help me last longer in bed.
I read online that Edging was better for stamina training. Pretty much getting to the point of ejaculation, but stopping before you ejaculate.
Can anyone vouch for this method?

I can't vouch for it because I haven't seen my girlfriend in a month and won't again for another month still. I have been trying this, though, so I hope it helps.
I think most of it revolves around being able to know your body enough to know EXACTLY when you can't last for another pump, and then tensing the PC muscle as much as possible. If you do it right, you can actually orgasm without ejaculating--and then you can keep going and still have more orgasms. It's almost like starting over, only you never lost your erection because you didn't ejaculate. I've been practicing this for a little over a week and I've managed to do it twice so far.

Yeah it's really hard. You will most likely have to stop thrusting, or at least slow down. I'm getting a lot better at it with all the kegels I've been doing. Try doing longer kegel holds, for like 40+ seconds as hard as you can. That will get it in shape for this. Sometimes I can't stop from cumming, though, and I can literally feel my PC muscles straining until it gets too tired and gives out. Just don't let go of it until the sensation starts to pass or you will finish right away.

Yeah, you have to practice with yourself to find the exact moment to clench the PC muscle... A second too late and you might end up ejaculating anyway, and lose your erection, partially or completely...

That happens to me every now and then just from sex in general. It's like once in a blue moon but it happens. It's only happened once or twice since I've been with my girlfriend (about 1.5 years), but back when I was younger and masturbating a lot it happened a lot more frequently.
At least I think that is what it is.... at first I thought it was a bladder infection because my girlfriend gets those sometimes and the symptons sound exactly the same, only this goes away within an hour. It kinda burns a little and I keep feeling like I have to pee when it happens.
She told me to drink some water and it went away after it went through me.

I've been kegeling a lot and at first, I couldnt stop urinating for more than just a second, but now i can hold it longer, so I know I'm doing them right. But when I'm flaccid, it never seems like I can hold my kegel. How do you know if you're holding your kegel when you're flaccid. When I do it, I feel it contract for only a second...

Its all psychological. If you think you can't last, you wont. Do I try to do that when I'm already erect? And when I do it, should I be able to lift it and hold it in the lift position, cause when I do lift it, I can only make it lift that extra bit for a second.

It doesn't matter if you're erect or not, just keep the tension in the muscle going. Just like if you were trying to stop your pee from coming out, only tighten the muscle harder.

Hey darklife, sorry for being a pain, but when I'm not peeing, I have a hard time telling whether or not I'm contracting my PC muscle or not. I've read articles on way's to find it, but I'm still not so sure. When I try to life it, I can only do it for a split second. I've also heard that you should feel your penis tug back, so what I do is I do a light stretch out and I kegel so that I feel my penis tug back. My problem is that when I do that, I can only feel my penis tug back for a split second again. Is that because I have a weak PC muscle or is that normal and happen to you too? Thanks again for all the info.

It will probably tug back stronger than you are pulling, so you wouldn't be able to feel it anymore. Just hold those same muscles that you used to do that. Practice everytime you pee and with the tugging thing until you know you are doing it.

Right. When you start out your pc muscle is naturally weak. Afterall, what are the odds you have worked it before. Just do some kegels when you pee and become more aware of how it flexes, what muscles you feel, and the feeling involved. After you get that down you can move on to doing them anytime and after it strengthens you can hold a light kegel long as you want really.
