BTW, I am taking it to increase blood flow as I cannot maintain an full erection. I bought L-arginine and within a few days have noticed that my flaccid size has increased, as opposed to always fluctuating. I have not seen my gf in the last couple days so I don't know if its working yet, but my concern is that it says on the bottle of pills that it can only be taken for 6 months. Do you guys dis-regard that or no??

I just checked my bottle and it does not say that. It may depend on the dosage that each pill is? I haven't come across anything like that, though if you take a huge daily dose 3000mg+++ you may want to not do it more then serveral week at a time.

I'm not using it because I haven't been able to find it yet, but someone has asked a question similar to yours. I don't remember how long ago cause I've been reading really old posts lately.
I think it was Bobo who told him that some places sell L-arginine in "high potency" formulas, which might be what you have. He said they are safe to take for short periods of time though I don't remember how long that is (weeks? months?).
There was also a daily dosage mentioned that was safe for prolonged use. If you search through the L-arginine topics I bet you could find it again.

Chiko,
That's called 'cycling'. If the product says to cycle.. then do so. It just means you need to take a break from it for a while.. then you can use it again. Otherwise, the supplement becomes at best ineffective, or worse yet, becomes detrimental to your health.

Here's a short blurb on supplement cycling in general.. I don't see any mention of aminos.. but the stuff your taking may be more than just arginine. What are the ingredients?
Usually pretty safe to follow the label's instructions, especially if the instructions are telling you to take LESS. Some products may tell you to take more than you need (which means more cash for them), but when it specifically says take less, or stop taking, then I'd take that advice seriously.

It says to consult a physician if you intend to take it longer than 6 months. Since I've been taking it I noticed that my flacid length is bigger, but I still can't maintain my erection, and I have been doing kegels as well. I do about 50-100 kegels a day. Then again this is the first week that i'm on the l-arginine and i take it 3 times a day in 500mg capsules. Is it too early to be disappointed?

I'd do more kegels.
