I'm a huge believer in supplements, but only if your diet is already damn good. Personally, I try to stay away from sugar and carbs, but I don't let it keep me from eating a piece of pie when I REALLY want one. I just like eating healthy.

Currently, I am firm believer in L-Arginine (yes, pun intended :mrgreen). It was sent to men by the Gods, and all men should all take it. I also take a very high-quality fish oil capsule (about 4 grams a day), as well as 1300 mg CLA a few times a day before meals. B-12 is also an essential part of my diet, cause it help my brain work better.

My question is, however, does anyone take any specific supplements to increase the elasticity of the tissue in your penis? I know that Rosehip Seed Oil softens scars, so it should soften the skin as well. Shea Butter also improves the elasticity of the skin, so it may also be benificial to PE.

Which leads me to ANOTHER question: Would it really be benificial to improve the elasticity of the tissue inside the penis? If the real secret behind PE is to inflict cellular damage and then let that damage heal, would you even want the tissue to be LESS susceptible to cellular damage?

If wound-healing is the secret to a fruitful PE experience, then these supplements are proven in labratory studies to accelerate wound-healing:

Calcuim D-pantothenate
Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid)
Ascorbic Acid (especially effective when taken with the B5)
Vitamin C
Glutamine

I hope to add these suppliments to my daily regimen. I know, of course, the value of taking enough protein, and one should probably follow the optimum strategy used by successful bodybuilders: Split your protein into 6 separate servings spread throughout the day.

If you look at my other posts, you'll see that I am a n00by to PE, but I've been a successful bodybuilder for years, I have good frame with a six-pack, and I know how to heal my body after a hard workout. I'm hoping to bring my knowledge of nutrition over the PE realm.

Does anyone else have an opinion on this?

I was under the impression that supplements were only of value when your dietary intake was inadequate for your current output (which is pretty much everyone nowadays).

As has been noted before, Arginine should be avoided by those with herpes simplex because it is their main food source.

The only advantage to making the skin on the penis elastic would be to prevent stretch marks, I doubt it would enhance growth at all. To stand any chance of a gain, anything applied topically or orally woud need to be a vasodilator.

I cant answer the last question as I havent seen any scientific research to suggest what the real secret of PE is. Its nice to see your mind all abuzz with ideas, I hope you can make a breakthrough which can help all of us out.

I think a lot of PE is trial and error. I know that we have standards that we all use because they have shown to work. But we all are different and therefore different things for different people. However, that being said I do agree that a new mind might birng new ideas. I for one have (not sure I invented it ) started doing a split routine some time ago. I looked on this site and could not find anyone else doing it. I do my stretches in the morning in the shower and then during the day I will do my holds then at night do my wet jelqs (or I might combo up the wets and drys or etc...) the point is that I am sure there is room for growth in knowledge in PE and glad to see someone trying to think outside the box.
Welcome to CC!

I think that PE is trial and error AT THE MOMENT, but soon, someone is going to get serious about knowing the how's and the why's. People are different to a certain degree, but human tissue is human tissue... and I'd be willing to bet that all PE success is related in some way.

In the bodybuilding world, there are "hard-gainers", people who gain muscle easily, and people everywhere in between. BUT, muscle is always gained in the same way: Break down the muscle, give the muscle the time and materials (mainly protein) to rebuild. There is even an optimal time (immediately after the workout) to fuel the broken muscle tissue with protein and simple carbs.

One day PE will be like this. It will be less of an art, and more of a science. We will know exactly what to do and when, and what to eat and what to take to optimize the results.
