3. 150 Wet Jelqs lasting about 2-3 seconds each.
4. 5 mins hot wrap warmdown
5. Pat yourself on the back, workout complete :)
Do this routine every 2nd day. After you've done this routine for a good 2 weeks you can start increasing the number of jelqs by 25 per week up to a maximum of 500 jelqs. After you get accustomed to PE, you may want to look into more advanced exercises but that is totally optional.
NEVER attempt advanced exercises while you are still a beginner.
It is usual that as a beginner you will get frequent erections when jelqing. DO NOT JELQ AT 100% ERECTION! These erections will subside overtime so for now be patient and let them subside.
Also be patient with gains as it may take several weeks for you to see any. Flaccid gains are usually seen first.
If you have any questions, ask the friendly folks here as CC.
Good luck on your journey towards a bigger penis and welcome to CC. :)

It just has to be said: YOU'RE A NEWBY, YOU'RE A NEWBY, YOU'RE A NEWBY IN THE PACK, YOU'RE A NEWBY IN THE PACK!
Welcome
Don't worry, the guys don't bite unless you ask them too.
Do this routine only once a day, one day on and one day off or something like that until you are ready to start increasing (after a couple of weeks or so). If you did it more than once a day you won't give your dick time to recover.

I would think once a day every other day. I have used this routine for the last month and I have to say it's a solid routine for a beginner. I upped the intensity of this routine within 2 weeks of starting my quest. I have yet to measure so I can not give you specifics but I can say that I visually have seen results.
Hope that helps.

thought pro, I believe your routine is missing something very important (I must be a crusader for this or something) - kegels. A newbie can kegel all he likes because it is a muscle thats often used (even though it's underused) and therefore recovers easily.

During the newbie stage, you get more than ample blood flow.(ie, highly frequent boners) Kegelling pushes more blood in. At this stage I would do kegelling separately. When you have been PEing for a while, you need that extra blood to keep woody strong; thus, you employ the usage of kegels within your routine...which is usually during the jelqing process.
wern

I am not saying to kegel while jelqing. That is definetly not for newbs.
The thing is that newbs don't necessarily know that kegels should be done separately. You could add to the routine that kegels should be done separately. It take a long time for the PC muscle to develope so the sooner a newb starts kegels the better.

My first routine wasn't TP's one but it was quite similar in its simplicity. His routine is just a guideline for beginners not to get carried away and end up with an injury even before seeing some results.
'TheBugKahuna'
5th May 2005, 07:44 PM
So...chances are people don't gain from this routine?
zwmusic
5th May 2005, 09:41 PM
I wouldn't say that Bug, TP's routine is just fine for a beginner. The reasons for not gaining can be due to deficient technique, overworking or underdoing some exercises, etc. Or simply lack of receptiveness to the exercises from one's body (which I think is very unlikely).
'TheBugKahuna'
6th May 2005, 07:52 PM
Hm...still though, it is quite odd that nobody seems to give any positive feedback about this routine. You would think a beginner would want to do a routine that would help him gain. (I hope I don't sound like an ass or something)
I am not trying to 'diss' your routine TP.
Valk
6th May 2005, 07:58 PM
You're making this routine more special then it is. T-P devised this routine because newbies were constantly asking about a routine.
This routine just contains the basic exercises.
Practically every beginner to PE follows a routine similar as this because these exercises are the meat and bones of PE.
Thought Pro
6th May 2005, 08:54 PM
Valk's on the money. There's nothing special about it. You don't really need anything special for PE. Work on the basic fundamentals.
ArTee63
6th May 2005, 09:29 PM
it is quite odd that nobody seems to give any positive feedback about this routine.
OK, I'll take a stab at it.
I think it's a GREAT rountine. While you may not gain massive amounts from it, at it's least it's a good place to start to get the old unit in condition for other more intense elements. At best, you see a little growth.
How's that for positive feedback?
'TheBugKahuna'
7th May 2005, 06:41 AM
Thanks for the feedback. Only asking questions to gain knowledge.
So what if...say I, an "experienced" PE'er, who hasn't gained, were to perform tp's routine? What kind of effects may that have? I know we cant predict exactly, but is there any reason to believe it may be beneficial?
zwmusic
8th May 2005, 03:09 PM
The only reason for an experienced PE'er not see any gain would be either if he's been doing his exercises massively wrong or fucked it all up with an injury (even that would be difficult to happen because you wouldn't be able to carry on with an injury).
The only way to see if you can pinpoint what was wrong with your workout is to have a long brake and then start all over again, that's where TP's routine comes in handy. It serves as a 'warm up' routine to get back into track.
Don't forget that PE is a science, you're literally changing your body by forcing layers of tissue to increase in length and volume. In order to achieve that, you ought to find the ideal balance of actual brake up of tissue (PE exercises) and healing time for the body to rebuild itself stronger. How do you find this balance? There's a very fine line between success and failure there. IMO, the only way you can achieve results is by experimenting every possibility and by applying every possible variation. It implies many brakes and re-starts, it can be a very very long process.
'TheBugKahuna'
9th May 2005, 02:38 AM
Thanks for your reply ZW.
So how long of a break should I take? 1 month? 2 weeks?
zwmusic
9th May 2005, 01:36 PM
I would suggest 1 month. That's if you're really unsure about what is going wrong there. When you re-start, pay close attention to your body's reaction to the exercises.

I have a few questions if you do not mind answering for me.
1.What initial day do you suggest doing this routine so it falls into every other day?
2.Once I reach the beginning of the third week and increase it by 25 more wet jelqs, should I increase it by another 25 for the 4th week and so on?
3.How many weeks should this be done for exactly?
4. If there is some kind of break, for how long is it and what exercise routine would I follow after this one?
Thank you very much man and have a good one.

1.What initial day do you suggest doing this routine so it falls into every other day?
It really doesn't matter. Make it a M-W-F with weekends off. That should be easy enough to remember.
2.Once I reach the beginning of the third week and increase it by 25 more wet jelqs, should I increase it by another 25 for the 4th week and so on?
Give it another 3 weeks and see how you progress.
3.How many weeks should this be done for exactly?
Keep it going for about 3 months or so.
4. If there is some kind of break, for how long is it and what exercise routine would I follow after this one?
Usually a break happens because you gains have ceased. Take a month off with no routine at all. Start back up like a newb.
This whole beginner routine is really just a good guideline. Feel free to experiment with it, just not too intensely.
BigMike415
11th August 2005, 09:21 PM
Should I start up like a newbie after the 4 months doing this exact regime or is there another one to follow?
zwmusic
11th August 2005, 09:34 PM
I didn't quite understand what you meant BigMike. But assuming you're seeing some gains and haven't injured yourself by the time you get to the 4th month, you shouldn't go back to a newbie routine. You should by then be experimenting with some more advanced exercises.
BigMike415
12th August 2005, 02:46 AM
My question is after 16 weeks of the newbie routine and adding 25 wet jelqs every week doing this M-W-F, how long of a break should I take and what comes afterwards? Anything suggested on this site at all?
G-Spot19
13th August 2005, 07:52 AM
The break is usually reccomended to be about a month off. Its hard too trust me. Truthfully, if it aint broke, dont fix it. If you are still seeing gains from this routine, keep at it when you start back. Do one untill it stops working for you, then move on to something else. Also watch that jelq count and do not do too many.

While doing 150 wet jelqs, should I split them up into reps? For eksample take pauses (Hellicopter) between every 25 jelqs or something.
(Beginner) :-)
zeolite
27th January 2006, 08:07 PM
If you feel like you're starting to go soft in the middle of a jelqing session then it is absolutely fine to take a pause and do an exercise like heli-shakes to get the blood going again. It's generally thought that to do wet jelqs you should be between 60 and 80% erect. If you don't have roughly this level of erection then there's little point continuing this jelqing session. So, to answer your question, if you feel like taking a short pause (i.e. diving jelqs into reps) then this is OK. It is not essential. Everyone's body is different. Do it if it feels right for you

Hi there & welcome.:mrgreen
It has to be said that there are no guarantees that this will work but, having said that, there is no reason that it shouldnt. It will however take time and dedication. If you go into this half arsed there is every chance you will be dissappointed. Give the routine a go for a month and see how you measure up but dont give up if you dont see anything substantial. Some people take longer to gain than others but there are very few people that I know of that havent gained anything.
Heed the advice about not over doing it though, listen to your body's responses. If you start to see red spots appear, dont panic. Most get these when they first start out. Just wait until they've gone and reduce the intensity slightly on the next workout.
Hope this helps & good luck Comrad:D

LMAO @ franky :lol::lol:
As far as I'm aware there is no reason not to wear tight underwear. Whatevers comfortable man. Provided, of course, that it doesnt affect your circulation :mrgreen

i followed this routine for about a week now and I have a couple of questions.
1) Do you have to count? I mean I just go and go until I guess I feel the need to finish
2) Do you finish? I guess I just havent thought about that but since I did just spend about 30 mins touching myself I just do what I normally ermmm... do.
3) The first time I used this technique I actually saw the base of my penis become HUGE!!!... I mean I looked down and I thought I saw someone else's penis on here. BUt the 4 other times that I have tried I did not acheive the same results.
Thanks for the help.

Apologies for the delayed response.
1) Counting reps is not critical, you can just jelq for a set period of time if it suits you better. Remember though, your supposed to be exercising not masturbating.
2) If, by 'finish', you mean ejaculate then it's entirely up to you. It may be better for your mindset if you dont, at least at first. If you bust at the end of every workout you may find that you struggle to control your erection %, as your brain still thinks you're masturbating. Gaining control over your erection is pretty crucial to the whole process.
3) Concentrate on doing the exercises the same way (or a close as you can get) every time. That way you should see consisten results.
Hope this helps.

So to help me today I was in the shower and I was just listening to the radio.
I followed all the steps to include the warmup. THe stretching the wet jelq and the warmdown.
It doesnt Feel like I got a good pump. I imagine its something like to working out.
Somedays when i workout My muscles are REALLY worked out. Other days I feel like I just wasted my time.
Since I dont know what a good workout is suppose to feel like I was just wondering if a sucessful workout is Suppose to feel good?

Sometimes you get this tingling, well worked feeling, other times you feel nothing major. I usually hang lower when I finish though.

On my 4th day of this routine! I'm up to 225 reps! It's really intense, I feel like my cock is waking up from its long slumber.
Once I get to 500 reps what exercises do you recommend doing? Meaning should I add anything to this routine? Because my dick doesn't feel tired at all after these workouts...

Great post,
My question is...when should you bump up to a more advanced stage? After 3 months? After minimal gains from this beginners guide? As what point will I know i'm ready for more advanced workouts?
Also, as for keggel on the side. Should I do it in off days? What routine do you recommend? How many keggels per session and how much time for keggel should I hold?
One question from the routine...when you stretch do you do it limp or 20% stiff?
Thanks guys

I'd say do Thought-Pro's newbie routine for 2 months, then start adding
a bit more.
I'd say do the kegals at least every other day when you don't do your
PE workout, but if not they seem alright to do everyday. How much? I'm
not sure...I'm not a kegal expert...I've been slacking at them and not too
good at them yet. Someone else can probably answer that one for you.
Stretch at the most limp you can to get max stretch...but 20% doesn't
seem too strong at times if you can't keep it down further.

Thanks a lot
Did you notice any difference in the first two months?
Biggest problem I have now is trying to keep a 50-55% erection during the jelqing....it usually gets at 85-90% when I do that excercise..drives me nuts, trying to work on that.
Also, which advanced workout do you all recommend>

Yep, I had gains in my 1st 2 months which was just recently actually.
I had gained 0.20 inches in length & 1/16 inches in width.
Check out my diary (http://www.cheekycherry.com/ccforums/showthread.php?t=7171) if you like.
Yea, you'll get use to the 85-90% erection level when you are a
newbie...I just try to watch some sportscenter/espn when
jelqing, not porn or I get way too eroused.

Hey guys...When stretching and jelqing, how much strain do you put? When stretching, do you just do a mild pull? when jelqing, do you use a fair grip on the penis base and jelq or do you put a bit more pressure or a lot more pressure and strength in to the grip?
How do you know when a workout was successful? I usually feel a mild burning sensation during the workout, doesn't hurt or anything, kind of feels like a good workout...i'm assuming others feel the same way? Also, for wet jelqs, I just do it in the shower and use body soap for the lube...and then spray hot water for the warm down...should be ok right?
Thanks

Hold up...HOLD UP! Soap for lube in the shower...no way! Don't use soap!
Very very bad idea.
My rules for stretching & jelqing...stretch as hard as you can without
causing and pain and squishing your glands to death. If you aren't getting
any red spots on your glands you are doing just fine. If you see red spots
you are stretching/squeezing too hard. Jelq with a loose but firm hold, but
not too hard or you will injury your penis...feel it on the undershaft of
your urethra and may also get red spots.
The way your penis feels after a workout sounds about right.

What beginners routine is more successful...doing the routine every other day during the week or performing the routine 5 straight days mon-fri and taking the weekend off?
PepeLePew
4th April 2009, 08:50 PM
Everybody's different...but I think doing it 5 days straight gives your
penis not enough time to heal and grow. Stick to a every other day plan
or a M-W-F plan with weekend off. That's what most do around here...and
possible just stretch a little & do kegals on their off days.

For some strange reason i came to this page, i read this and started LQTM. I don't know why i think this is so funny. maybe because, there's a point where you tell yourself, you're not going to wank it.....and then u have that moment, where you're telling yourself....don't do it.....but the devil on your other shoulder is saying....fuck that, you know it's too late already...you already know you gonna do it. reminding yourself after you activate the launch sequence is not going to help.

what's the hot wrap warm up and warm down?
zeolite
27th May 2009, 07:20 PM
Soak a cloth, flannel, etc. in very hot (but no painfully hot) water and wrap that around your penis for 5-10 mins. Re-soak it if it starts to cool down.

I will keep it on forever.. i do so much "lazy time" in front of the comp. so.. why not :saint: only thing I'm thinking about now is the other guide's mentioned "5 hour rule" I'm not that sure my girlfriend will approve of that! I rly hope these methods works but i can't rly imagine that they wouldn't, i mean c'mon there would hardly be any members and forums here if it didn't <3
Love ya all! Cheer for me!

That '5 hour rule' is sort of a myth. Many have made great gains despite of not obeying the rule. And most importantly: this is all about sex! So, don't let your gf wait for 5 hours, no way man... not even for 5 minutes! :mrgreen
This does work btw. Just wait and see.

I am doing a simular routine to this because it has been a long time since have taken PE seriously. It is a great routine for a newb or some one who is coming back after a long lay off from PE. By the way if you stop for a long time even after some good gains, you will lose them. I guess it is a life long thing.
