Im 19 soon and im starting to feel like im geting there, what with my career set up and stuff. I know im not but its when i look back at the rest of my life i feel oldish. I cant remember the maths behind it but it was statistically worked out that you only had to ask 50 random people before you find two with the same birthday. Obviously this is an average, it may happen before or after but should roughly be around 50.

The stats work, its something like this: If you ask 1 and its 1st january, that gives you 1 in 365 chance the next answer. The next person gives you 2nd january so that then gives you 2 in 365 chance that the next person will give you one of your previous answers. The 5th answer gives you 1 in 73 chance.... and you eventually end up around 50.

Therfore its not that rare to have someone on or around the same birthday as you.
