I once had a thing with an... well, not so ugly girl (just to make me feel better :wink: ). She was all kindness when I met her and I thought I was doing her some good. Now I regret that because she actually turned out to be a nasty bitch and I eventually realized that I had that thing with her out of complacency. I hated myself for that and from then on I started being extremely selective in terms of looks.

We cannot jugde a woman deep inside by her looks, also, we are bound to fall flat if we assume that an ugly woman could be nice just because they are more 'introspective' or whatnot. They may appear to be nice just to make up for their hideous look. It happens quite often.

If we're honest, if we meet a girl we wont turn around and say, 'i bet she's got a nice personality, i'll give her a try.' So unless you already know the girl, like you were friends before, then it wont work. All of my girlfriends i have had, i had liked the look of them so asked them on dates.
I think there is something there that says to us, dont go for her, shes a minger! Thats why we get the old, 'i like you as a friend' scenario. Looks are the difference between a good friend and a girlfriend.

I have gone out with a few mingas but have never felt deeply for any, unless is was deep sympathy. If a girl isn't good looking, the best she will get from me is sex. But I'm not into relationships and love at this stage of my life (too damn young). Two of my friends are classic examples of the reason for this.

We only get to be in our twenties once. It is the best time in our life to be promiscuous. We are very virile while at the same time adults. Once you pass 30 your energy levels drop, stamina is more of an issue. I would be very surpirsed to hear of a 30+ person saying that they have more stamina (PC muslce not included) now than they did in their twenties.

That's why it is a mistake to create the conditions that allow you to fall in love now. You may invariably regret it later.

No way man! It's usually the other way around. Maybe from your personal experience you met the exception to the rule. But an out and out gorgeous beauty queen often knows that she has the world at her feet, and most of the guys in it under her heel.

I'm talking about the true stunners of course. But girls that are simply good looking are 100 times better in the attitude dept. I think that with plainer girls, you can grow to see different beauty in them. Just like you can grow to see an ugly person in a mean beauty bitch.

I think OneMoreRep got it right. Most of the time, looks and personalities are looked at seperately. In the sence that beautiful women can have a shity character and ugly woman an wonderful personality.
But they can't be viewed seperately because most personality traits present themselfs through the exterior of a person. A beautiful smile is more hearthwarming then a smile that reveals some ugly, battered teeth. Even if the intentions of both smiles were equally positive.
