View Full Version : Continuous vs. Interuppted Jelq Technique

Does anyone think/know there is a difference between doing all your jelqs without stopping as compared to doing them in SETS?

for example.

200 jelqs all at once

vs.

4 sets of 50 or 8 sets of 25 ---- taking time between sets to adjust level of erection etc...

Please voice your thoughts.

If you can maintain a constant erection level to get 200 done, go for it. I can't. After 50 or so I need to do some erection maintainance. :?

Continuous jelqing will keep the blood in your dick for a longer time, therefore working it more than if you let the blood escape every 2 seconds. Hence, I think continuous is better.

i think it pays to take a minute to cool down whenever you need it, jelqing when your too erect is just masturbation. as for actual sets, i sometimes throw in a 10second jelq/kegel/stretch every 50th jelq.

I've regularly done jelqs in sets of 20 due to the R.E.P. (raging erection problem). To abate the REPs, often I do a set of kegels. Focusing on the kegel helps my dick calm down.

I usually have it interrupted. I stop, splash some hot water on it, masterbate to a good level and continue. Same thing when after i complete holds.

When I first started PE'ing way back, I never took breaks. Since I have started up again, I take breaks when I do wet jelqs approximately halfway through, because I am trying a new kegel use(new for me) and I can't hold it the entire time I wet jelq.

I think its best to keep going as long as possible, but sometimes I'll stop to reduce the amount of blood. I don't count strokes or stop every 5 mins or so. If your penis is in the right state for the exercise your doing, make the most of it before your level of erection changes.

What if between sets your dick is in hot water?

Try it, but for me its a waste to wash off any un-used lube during a workout. Plus it'll make workouts longer which maybe a problem for some.

i usually do sets of 50 and wait a few seconds. sometimes i do it to rest my hand, but usually to either get blood out. or sometimes my dick doesnt respond ill do it so i can do heli shakes and get some more blood in.

I go till my erection level is too little or great and then adjust quickly as possible. After either 50 or 100 I take a little rest like 3 minutes or so then continue on till I reach my predetermined number or next stop point.

Does anyone know if it affects results?

like is it better to go continuously. or is it better to break it into sets so more of your jelqs are at a better level?

Actually, this morning I had to abrieviate my workout and only did my wet jelqs. Should I forget about dry jelqs until my next workout and let my dick recuperate or should I get them in later tonight?

I do them continuously, without breaking the motion or losing the 80% level. After 150 to 200, the red spots show up. I know I should stop before that happens, but it's so easy to keep going! So I know it's working, but it's working too well - that is, it's too much, too intense. A rest or two may be in order.

i like to jelq at about 80 percent, and with my new routine im very strick about erection quality, its a less is more situation, so ive got to make them count. i find i cant do more than twenty, sometimes only 10, without working a little on erection level. ive been peing for a while now, so for me the problem is usually getting back hard, though often i do have to do kegels to get softer to begin a set. as far a effectiveness i cant see how it would matter, i would think that as long as you are stretching and tearing down the tissue with quality jelqs, each expanding the penis beyond its normal volume you should be fine

Sounds like you are in the same boat as me, i like to work on QUALITY.

i usually do about ~25 jelqs (~1.5 mins), then adjust and continue and so on.

I also just started sitting down when jelqing and I notice my erections are still strong after 10 reps.

i find it very difficult to maintain a particular level erection, for more then say 30-40 jelqs so i do it in sets.
