Benefits of Exercising your penis muscles
I have been performing exercises known as "kegels" since 2001, and personally, as far as my own body is concerned, I have mastered kegels. There is no new area of erection firmness or control that anything I can read or hear can take me to.
I don't know, or care, what other people are saying about these kegels or the muscles they affect these days, because I am pretty sure that I have gone as far as a person would want to go in terms of erection strength, shooting velocity and erection staying power, unless they wish to harm their body.
Benefits and Limits
I have had erections that are so engorged that it is scary - you know you can engorge the penis as much as you want but there is a point at which it seems that it will burst or cause some major injury.
I have had erections that stayed as long as I wanted regardless of how many times I came (not ejaculated, but came - the two aren't dependent on each other), but you reach a point where it becomes boring. And no chick that I have ever been with wants to have sex non stop all night. You reach a point where they become numb and dry from all the thrusting and it takes away from all the fun you have had and becomes an exercise in endurance instead of a passionate encounter.
And I have had erections that feel like a steel pipe right after ejaculating as if I didn't ejactulate at all - ie you ejaculate and the dick is in a state that it can just keep fucking/wanking - but immediately after you ejaculate, psychologically you normally don't feel like more sex, even if your dick is up for it. The trick is to simply not ejaculate so you can still feel the lust.
And finally regarding ejaculation velocity and strength, I have reached a stage where ejaculation really feels like you are hurting yourself. ie you ejaculate so hard that your abdomen "pops" like a double joint, and the tendons one the side of the dick feel like they have ripped - and it is fucking painful.
Obviously (I hope) you would not want to reach these stages. The reason I have said the things I said above is to support my statement - as far as my body is concerned, I have reached the limits of what kegelling can offer, and since our bodies are mostly similar, I believe that this should be your one stop shop for learning how to get the most out of kegels, so read on:
Part 1
About Kegels
To put it concisely, a kegel works two main muscles in your penis and pelvis, depending on the type of kegel you do: the PC and the BC muscles.
The PC muscle directly affects erection strength - an erection occurs by a two stage process:
a. blood is pumped into the penis from your pelvis
b. blood is restricted (not prevented) from exiting from the penis to the pelvis
The PC muscle is the primary controller of these two stages. It is worked directly by utilizing regular as well as reverse kegels.
The BC muscle is assumed to be responsible for ejaculation. That spasm you feel when ejaculating is the BC muscle. Ideally a stronger BC muscle creates stronger spams which results in a stronger "spurt" of semen when you ejaculate. A well defined BC muscle allows you to control how hard you cum.
I believe that the BC is worked indirectly by utilizing regular as well as reverse kegels, but MAINLY THROUGH REVERSE KEGELS.
Part 2
Types of Kegels
There are two types of Kegels: Regular and Reverse
As I mentioned above: an erection occurs by a two stage process:
a. blood is pumped into the penis from your pelvis
b. blood is restricted (not prevented) from exiting to penis to the pelvis
Regular kegels increase your power to increase point b above. This results in a rock hard erection, and when I say rock hard, I don't mean an engorged penis that feels like it's going to explode, I mean, literally a penis that doesn't feel like a penis, but more like a piece of wood or steel. This is a great feeling to have when you have an erection, but if you had the ability to engorge the penis you enter a new realm.
For most people who are new to kegels, to perform a basic kegel, which can allow you to feel the PC muscle, simply go to the toilet and start urinating.
Then:
i. about 5 seconds after you start urinating, stop the flow, then hold for 5 seconds, then start the flow again
ii. repeat a for the duration of the urination
By the end you should have a firm grasp of what is happening when you kegel.
For the engorged rock hard penis you need to work on a thing called Reverse Kegels.
The reverse kegel involves pushing blood into your penis.
Did you ever wonder why you sometimes get erections when taking a dump? Its because while you are pushing the shit out you are also indirectly pushing blood, through the PC muscle, into your penis.
Taking the example of urinating that I put above, when you stopped the flow, you performed a regular kegel. If you then forced the flow to restart you performed a reverse kegel.
A person with a developed PC muscle has rock hard erection automatically. As soon as he becomes sufficiently aroused, it will be difficult to lose the erection, because the developed (and therefore larger) PC muscle automatically restricts more blood flow from leaving the penis.
Part 3
The Ultimate Erection
A person that has developed their ability to reverse kegel can perform an exercise I call the kegel pump (maybe others call it something else, but here I refer to it as a kegel pump).
Kegel Pump
The Kegel Pump serves two purposes:
1. engorge the penis greatly which increases erection girth during the erection!
2. prevent you from cumming (not just ejaculating, but cumming altogether)
Simply put, it involves performing a reverse kegel followed by a regular kegel. ie. you push blood into your penis, then strongly contract the PC muscle, in a pumping motion - think of blowing into a baloon. You blow all the air out of your lungs and into the baloon, then squeeze the opening of the baloon while you inhale air into your lungs, then you repeat the process.
In terms of the Kegel Pump, you push the blood out of the pelvis and into the penis, then squeeze the arteries that send the blood back to the pelvis by contracting your PC muscle, while the artery that send blood INTO the penis increases in pressure as blood is circulated into your pelvis. Then you push that blood into the penis and repeat.
If, when you feel close to cumming, you perform an extended kegel pump (ie a very long regular kegel followed by a reverse kegel) your penis will feel like it is becoming numb (but in a good way) while still being rock hard, and it will allow you to keep fucking until that feeling of urgency to come goes away, leaving you in a state of extreme hornyness.
The advanced kegeller achieves the this ultimate erection and staying power by using the kegel pump.
Being able to do a kegel pump is like learning how to ride a bicycle: Once you can do it, you can always do it, even if you stop kegelling for a few months, but its effect will be greatly diminished.
Part 4
A Proven Routine
Routine level: Beginners and Advanced
Based on my years of kegelling I'd like to share an easy to follow routine that I have devised that will get those muscles nice and strong.
Rule 1: Consistency - Incorporate into other routines
You will find lots of routines around here that incporporate kegels into the warm up and warm down. It is the easiest thing to do and quite effective. The problem is that this restricts kegels to PE exercises which a lot of people don't follow religiously.
Kegels should be followed religiously because it is harder to overtrain the PC muscle (is it is working when ever you pee, stand up, shit, wank, have sex and sleep)
Incorporate the kegels into your mornings, when you brush your teeth. This will have two advantages -
1. You will kegel every week day at least.
2. you will spend more time brushing your teeth which is VERY important for looks and hygiene. We don't walk around flashing our cocks but we do flash our teeth when we are smiling to a woman.
Rule 2 – minimum 4 minutes per weekday (It’s just 4 mins!!! DON'T BE A LAZY WUSS!!!)
Basic routine
This involves a 260 second count while brushing your teeth.
0 – 200: There is no rest period in these:
0 - 100 → 100 x quick and hard - Flex your PC muscle sharply every second
101 - 150 → 25 x 2 second squeeze – This is more like a 50 second hold in which you release your contraction on ever 2nd second count. So you hold for two, then release and immediately hold for another two.
151 - 200 → 5 x 5 second squeeze similar to the 2 second squeeze, but these squeezes are performed with the hardest contraction. When you do these, imagine that you are trying to lift the tip of your penis, not just squeeze the PC at the base. This is the quencher. Be good at this and you will go very far.
201-220 → rest the PC muscle. Focus on making it as relaxed as possible.
221 – 260 → The PC hold. I do this while brushing my wisdom teeth – an often neglected part of the mouth. These are the teeth right at the back and there are four of them. I spend 10 seconds on each one for a total of 40 seconds. HOLD YOUR PC AS HARD AS YOU EVER HAVE FOR THESE 40 SECONDS. Take deep breaths if you have to. JUST DON’T LET GO. Your PC should be on fire by the end.
There you go. Easy to do, doesn’t take a lot of time, gives good results.

Slow Contraction
Another exercise to implement into your workouts is the Slow Contraction (I forget what the original name for the exercise is, as I found out about it years ago on other sites).
Easy to do while you brush your teeth
Each set consists of three stages:
1. Starting position: completely relaxed. Contract slowly for a 5 second count gradually building the force of your contraction until, at "5" you are 100% contracted
2. Starting position: completely contracted - hold at 100% or 110% - ie contract as hard as possible for a 5 second count
3. Starting position: completely contracted - gradually release the contraction until, at the 5 second count you are completely relaxed
repeat 5 times

Sounds like a good plan you got there Wern. My only advice would be less brushing and more flossing. My dentist told me I was brushing too much and too hard thus causing my gums to receed :x As long as you floss you will be getting the stuff in the cracks and crevices then you brush and polish the teeth.
Also personally I like weighted kegals but the important thing is that you are doing them regardless of how you do them.

How do you breathe when flexing your abs, or biceps? If you are having trouble breathing it means your muscle is very underdeveloped (and I am assuming you are talking about the 40second hold. If you are talking about kegels in general, you have a looooong way to go). Breathing is a higher priority than flexing strongly, so reduce the intensity of you PC muscle flex and focus on the breathing.

This routine is better 5on 2 off because this isn't a strenuous routine, although it may seem to be strenuous for beginners.

Try to not do anything at all. Place your focus on the PC/BC muscle and your penis shaft. Think about the effect of gravity on it, how it pulls it towards the ground. Imagine you losing all tension in the penis as you allow gravity to pull it to the ground. Then do the 40 second PC hold. Yummy!

for those of you who have problems breathing, remember this little technique (also works very well with any other physical excersises, especially situps)
when you squeeze, breathe in, when you let go, breathe out. DO NOT! try and count the seconds of your breath, instead just follow a rythm. counting can be good, but not when you start, because you will find that it ends up messing up your rythm because you will try to change your speed to match it. once you have a good control of the technique, then you can count if you want to (although i find it rather useless)

No, but you are moving other parts of your body and breathing in changing rythms, due to altering thrusting speeds (the women I've been with like it that way). And I personally like maintainging my erection while changing condoms or lubing up or standing up so the woman can see that you are a stalion (as most men easily lose erection srength when not being touched or having intercourse).

It is commonly believed, mostly in other PE forums, that the PC muscle isn't the only muscle that needs to be exercised to strengthen erections and increase virility in bed. The muscle that makes the penis rise up and stops urin flow is actually believed to be the BC muscle (Bulbo Cavernous). It is also the muscle that gives stronger ejaculations and is the muscles that allows blood to be held in the penis.

I never considered the 'BC/IC' muscle.. but always see a really good pump from this maneuver. I've always called them 'Erect Pushdowns' or 'Weighted Kegels' but Wally Wally Ups works too.. :lol:

In the long run, it doesn't make a difference whether you are flaccid, because kegels are not only about increasing the power of your dick muslces, but also about learning about them and therefore being able to "control" them better. So if you are erect you can learn about your muscles working in the situation. Same goes for flaccid, or for kegelling while PE'ing or wanking or even sex.

It's like a jelq where you move the blood through the shaft and into the head, but you stop at the gmans, which will then be swollen with blood (making for a better grip) and then you proceed to hold the stretch for however long. It seems to me, you would probably want to be less erect than for a normal jelq, since you will also be stretching. I would think if this is how you wanted to do stretching, you would still need to incorperate regular jelqs to really ill up your chambers with blood, and to get more reps.
this is just my interpertation on them, since I've never done them... like anything else I am willing to try of course :cool

For some reason, I really didn't feel this newbie routine is effective. So my routine has been this for the past month: hold the PC muscle for 30 seconds, rest for 1.5 minutes, and repeat for 30 minutes. Do you think this is overworking the muscle? And what about increasing the amount of time that I kegel for? I was told that 30 minutes is probably the max time you want to spend kegelling. If I keep up this routine for the rest of my PE career, will I still benefit from it years down the road?

The point of kegels is two fold -
1. Increase PC/BC muscle strength
2. Become intimate with these muscles so that you can flex them like you would your biceps/triceps - ie you have total control of the muscle and therefore your erection.
1 + 2 = ultimate staying power in bed as well as being rock hard.
If your exercises are doing that for you, then power to you :mrgreen

Start with a dry face/hand towel, then wet, then dry shirt
What I usually do, because its so damn convenient, is just rest my hand on it because you can vary the pressure depending on the intensity you are looking for.

Well Wern I did the Kegel start routine for the first time a moment ago. Because I wanted to focus on the task at hand, I chose to just sit here (naked, I might add) and pay close attention to what I was doing. The entire thing went pretty well, I just kept imagining trying to lift the head and, although that didn't happen, my penis did jump a little on each rep. I think all this time I've been doing them my lack of success has been due to only doing partial kegels, or not realizing that I wasn't flexing to the max. This notion of "lifting the head" seems to get at the whole thing.
At the end, the 40 sec hold, I didn't get a burning sensation, but I guess this might come with practice.
Until I get comfortable with regular kegels, should I even bother with the reverse kegel thing? To be sure I understand, it's the sensation of trying to urininate followed by the stop urination (regualer kegel) contraction?
Many thanks once again; I feel really good about finally getting strong returns on these after having done them frequently (but I think incorrectly) for a long time. One thing I notice is a tendency for me to tighten up other areas of my body, in particular my abs. I imagine it's best to try and relax the rest of the body as much as possible to focus only on the PC contraction?
PS Is this routine still only to be done once a day? What's your view on perhaps twice a day training? Do even advanced kegelers such as yourself follow the same routine? With Janda situps I know the principle is to increase the intensity of the contraction rather than the weight, is this the same type of concept? Sorry about all the questions, but I'm pretty excited about getting this underway.

Burning sensations aren't important. You will eventually come to a point where after a workout the muscle distinctly feels like it has been trained. That is the equivalent of a burning sensation. Ie if you can handle heavy bicep curls ad you do an intense set, you will feel a "burn" afterwards but it will be a tingling or a warmness rather than a painful feeling.
Until I get comfortable with regular kegels, should I even bother with the reverse kegel thing?
Not really because, in my experience, being able to perform a reverse kegel properly requires you to have a LOT of control. For example if you can lift the head of your penis while the rest of your body is completely relaxed (ie no stiffening of the abs or hips) then you can easily do a reverse kegel.
That doesn't mean that if you try them now you will injure yourself. All that will happen is that you will get frustrated because you won't be able to feel yourself pumping blood into the penis.
The best way to perform your first reverse kegel or just experiment with them in general is while wanking using a good lubricant. Since you are highly sensitive down there you can get a much better feedback of feelings when doing either a regular or reverse kegel. Try to force piss out while you are wanking and you will feel a reverse kegel very very well.
Here is a simple exercises - while wanking, you want to be anywhere from 7-9 in terms of stage of erection/cum (1 being flaccid, 10 being cum). As you are wanking, preferrably to porn or something hot, inhale to full lung capacity then gently exhale but imagine that instead of the air coming up out of your mouth, it is flowing down, through your pelvis and then into your dick while you push out. While you are exhaling you are also forcing piss/shit out (aka performing the reverse kegel). Obviously I don't mean that you actually piss or take a dump right there, but you just perform a soft version of that flex.
One thing I notice is a tendency for me to tighten up other areas of my body, in particular my abs. I imagine it's best to try and relax the rest of the body as much as possible to focus only on the PC contraction?
It is "best", depending on how you look at it. It is best if you are a fan of single-joint exercises, that is, exercises which target a single muscle. If you prefer multi-joint exercises (targeting multple muscles) then its OK to also be using abs and hips and the rest of your body because, as long as the PC is being flexed, you are getting a bonus workout. And the easiest way to determine that the PC is being flexed is the tip of the penis moving and the balls retracting into the body (although ab contractions are also responsible for the balls retracting, those bastards).
PS Is this routine still only to be done once a day? What's your view on perhaps twice a day training?
My view is to not rush it, as is the case with all NPE exercises. I have overtrained the PC muscle before, and trust me its not a good feeling. Overtraining other muscles in the body can hurt, but overtraining the PC is a bitch and can feel like someone is constantly kicking you in the balls (albeit softly, but still..).
Personally I find that if I use the technique in my OP as well as the 15second slow contraction exercise at the bottom of the OP, I can very signinficantly improve erection firmness and staying power in one month. Ie, you could start at zero and in one month be very confident that you will have a rock hard erection in bed.
After 2-3 months you should reach the peak of what kegels have to offer. It's really not that hard.

I also like the time table you provided. I'm going to mark my calender, do the routine once a day (likely with a few additional kegels in between, but mainly just the one session), and maybe after a few weeks I'll try and include the 15 sec hold you mentioned and then the reverse kegels.

Nice job wern! Abot the tensing thing, if i am about to do a kegel hold, i will tighten my abs first. This ensures that when i do the kegel it is only my pc being flexed as the abs are already flexed. I can then relax my abs and hold the kegel.

I think my problem might be that I'm not hitting the "whole" muscle, like I'm only flexing the last part nearer the penis. It occured to me when you said something about "tightening the anus" as using the PC muscle. When I tried to think of it this way, it seems like a "deeper' sensation, although I'm not able to literally tighten my anus without sort of clenching my cheeks and pulling my pelvis foward. However making the effort only from the area between my legs seems to work the PC (I think), does this sound about right?

Thanks a lot Rummy. It's good to hear I'm not the only one having problems with them.
I often times find myself struggling with things like this, be it Kegels or as often weightlifting technique. Sometimes I think I overthink things, but then it just seems like if there's an incorrect was to do something, I'll find it out. I'd rather get to the bottom of it and do it the right way, especially when the stakes are as high as they are in this case.
I've been trying the BC squeeze Wern mentioned and although it's hit and miss (I suspect it's a bit advanced for my level of PC fitness now anyway) the results have really been something. My dick looks a hell of a lot bigger; I've never had impressive glands but when I get the BC going just right it's as plump as you like, and rigid as can be too. I can actually feel what seem like ribs or humps along the shaft, this is how engorged it becomes. I can only imagine achieving this every time.
It's the same old story with the kegels though; sometimes I can get a really strong feeling and sometimes I can't. Earlier today I really felt it deep and I'm pretty sure this is how it's supposed to be, but there seems to be a strong tendency to "half flex" or only tense a part of the muscle.
Let's just hope Wern can guide us to the promise land and not get burnt out on all these tedious questions.:wink:

There is no "special move". Like building any muscle, you should work on hitting it from every angle. Tip, base, middle. But it is imprtant to realise that it takes time. When I say that it takes up to 3 months to achieve your goal, I mean that you may feel like nothing is happening for a long time. Maybe even after 2 months you will still have problems. The reason is that your brain is not used to dealing with these muscles in this way. They have been neglected by your conscious mind for most of your life. As you work on them the brain learns the feel of them. Which means that once you have this feel, it will stay for a long time even after you stop exercising. So while it take a long time to achive this state, it takes a minimal effort to retain it (ie exercising once a month - at once a month exercises you will lose the strength of the muscle but not the ability to manipulate it).
You can find that contracting the groin muscles (the muscles on the inner hip) and, to an extent, the muscles around the knee, can support the contraction of the PC muscle thereby strengthening the erection or the flex.

Kegels can improve shooting distance but if you have an incredibly short shooting distance to start off with the final range you can achieve may be significantly less than someone else. The farthest I shot before I began kegelling was maybe 5cm (2 inches) vertically, if I hadn't wanked in ages. Now I can shoot about a foot (30 cm) vertically.
But, when I was a teenager, a friend of mine told me that he was lying down and shot so far that he hit the wall behind him.
So I believe that while shooting length can be increased by kegels, it isultimately a product of genetics influencing semen pressure and volume. Apparently taking L-arginine and L-orithine increase semen volume, but it also involves premature ejaculation (premature by less than half a second before you reach stage 10 of the erection, but that is enough to have a massive impact on the pressure)

Wern I'd nominate you for the Nobel Prize if I could. I really appreciate your help; I'm bound and determined to master these movements and reap the benefits but it can be extremely frustrating when you think you'll never get it and aren't improving at all.
It's good to know it's supposed to take a long time to get them down; recently I've had some success getting a decent contraction by initiating the movement by focusing on tightening the anus from the muscles in the PC area; actually the feeling and visualization is more like pulling up the anus. Sometimes I can get this consistantly, sometimes I can't. I've been having trouble today, maybe because I've been doing too much (you warned against it, but it's hard when you're trying to learn them not to do a few dozen here or there and that begins to add up it seems), but I look foward to getting back to it shortly.

I am glad Wern that you wrote this. I have kegeled for a while now but I have been so inconsistent with Kegels that it has not helped me at all.

So today I did Wern's routine again as per usual after missing yesterday (doesn't happen often). I've been feeling rushed lately and haven't done as well with coordination, but hopefully tommorow will mark a return to the good sessions.
Today while whacking it (damn girl in my management class Catholic or some shit; I told her "So am I!" but she's a tough nut to crack) I noticed a few interesting things. First, often times when masterbating if I'm not really into it I don't get all that hard until when I'm about to ejaculate. I have to work really hard on a fantasy in order to get rock hard during the whole thing (the right mental image will make it shoot right up though), and sometimes I'm just after getting my rocks off.
Today was one of those days, and often times when I'm feeling this way I'll do a normal kegel (or a number of them really, or varying duration, usually just squeezing it as hard as I can) and this seems to move me closer to ejaculating. I don't think this is unusual as per our recent kegel discussions. I also did some reverse kegels, and although I haven't gotten great at these I did find that it engorged my member, making veins stand out more and giving the penis a heavier feel. The head also got rather plump and red which it usually isn't very plump at all. Anyways I did a pretty hard reverse-kegel as I was coming (Wern mentioned that eventually you can stave off ejaculation via this method, I think) and the result was that I still came, but that the initial burst shot a lot further than usual. This is the second time this has happened and I just wanted to put it out there for discussion and see if this is a common thing.
Sorry for telling what basically amounts to a story about me beating off.

A couple years ago I was watching TV and I saw an odd commercial, it was a commercial about a fitness device that trained "for you" while you were doing you everyday stuff. Basically you strapped on a pad onto the desired muscle you wished to train and the device would send a weak current thru the muscle, producing a contraction in it.
I don't know if any of you have ever heard of such a device or tried it and I have no idea what the name was, but when I read this thread it just struck me and got me thinking a bit... What would happen if one put said device to use on the PC muscle for like 5 hours a day? Would that work at all? I'm fairly sure that you can make "programs" where you specify how fast and how often the device should send a current thru the muscle, so you can create a customized routine.
I guess the best part about it is that you can wear it pretty much everywhere and anywhere without anyone noticing, and you wouldn't have to do any kegels yourself :wink:
Ah well, I haven't tried this out myself, its just a thought.

My grandma bought one of these off of television; it hurt like hell and she had to return it when there was a massive recall because (:shock: ), it's not safe to wear a device that shocks you.
Even if this device would do something to "tone" the PC, it wouldn't do a thing to improve your neurological control over the area, which is what is most important to both residual muscle tone (ie what lasts longer than the "burn" of the workout) as well as your ability to use the muscle on command.
It's a novel thought, but a waste of time and likely unadvisable from a health perspective. I don't won't anything that reads "high voltage" that near my balls.

After the impulse stopped, the muscle relaxed. Simmed sit ups time 10 to be honest. But as i said, it was not very comfortable and after a while my abs would involuntarily flex and unflex and it was not a good experience. Like my abs would convulse. I quit using it and as said above, they were recalled shortly afterwards. ITs a good idea, but not very safe and i am glad i quit using mine before the recall had to be issued.

Hey wern, my PC muslcle is pretty strong to from years of kegals but nothing like you describe the results mabie becasue of lack of consistentcy. But my erections are not out of this world and i still dont have the ability to stop my orgasm, when i cum i flex as hard as i can but a little still pops out.
Do you find that it is important to learn the difference between flexing your ass / abs and PC or just isolate the PC only no ab contractions at all.
I just did your whole routine and now im doing a super hold im at 3 minutes and no probelms i think i can hold for about 15 minutes most likely. You think if i do your routine along with a 15 mintue super hold every day in about 2 weeks or a month i should have super strong erections like you say and stop my orgasms?

in order to be able to hold back an orgasm, having a strong pc muscle is not the only thing you need. you also need to know the exact point at which to contract the muscle.
If 1=limp, 5= just erect enough to be able to fuck badly, 10=ejaculation, you need to hold at 9.5
If at 9.5 you hold but you still ejaculate, then next time hold at 9, and if that doesnt work, hold at 8.5, and so on, until you learn how to hold at 9.5
So technique definately plays a factor.
Also, keep your eyes open when you hold. Don't close them for even a second.

Thanks for your thorough thread Wern, i like your routine and find it a lot better than many other kegel routine i tried which often felt tedious and less effective (Most of the time i ended up exercising daily with some quick and hard flex and several long hold during train station instead going through every part of an odd "program" with a lots of easier and "unnecessary" exercises).
But it's the first time i finally get to see some practical talk about the use of "reverse kegel" and i may not have quite fully grasped the concept yet.
for example after switching to your routine i tried the "kegel pump" (since i already have some kegelign experience) and witnessed the increase in size of the head of my penis when i flex after trying a "reverse kelgel", but it got back to its previous size a soon as i relaxed the muscles.
Also, as a side note about the "multi-orgasmic thingy", I've been trying to get it for a while, sometimes with success other times not:shrugs:, and i often stumble upon the same problem as ownd: i hold it back but still loose my libido, and i think it's not a "reverse ejaculation" either because i still cum normally when i can get it up after a break, any idea on the subject?

Simply put, it involves performing a reverse kegel followed by a regular kegel. ie. you push blood into your penis, then strongly contract the PC muscle, in a pumping motion - think of blowing into a baloon.

Exactly. A kegel pump is not used to achieve multiple orgasms. It is only a tool that helps you delay the orgasm. As I explained, it causes your penis to feel numb for a while, maybe a couple of minutes at most.
Lets look at arousal as a scale of 1 to 10:
1 = being 0% erect, not aroused at all,
8= 100% erect
9= approaching orgasm (that feeling we get that starts us panicking if we have only been fucking for a few minutes, because we are now simply trying not to cum)
9.5 = point of no return
9.75 = orgasm (without ejaculation)
10 = ejaculation
The kegel pump is used between 8 and 9 (probably 8.5). It will simply prolong the amount of sex you can have without the need to have multiple orgasms.
Peforming a regular kegel to stop ejaculation when you orgasm is done at 9.4 by
- Clenching the PC muscle HARD at 9.4, for up to 30 seconds while you have stopped thrusting. Then stay for another 1 minute without thrusting and keep kissing your partner.
While you are doing this, STOP FUCKING/WANKING, and pull out if you feel like it, or stay inside your partner, and kiss them passionately or nibble their ear/nipples, so they focus on that. Instead of it seeming like you pulled out in order to not cum, it looks like you are just teasing them.
This is sometimes necessary because even though you haven't ejaculated, the head is very sensitive and if it rubs against anything, the penis will start to retract.
So in order to stop ejaculating in this way, you need to really know your cock. You need to know when you are about to reach your point of no return 9.5.

As I stated before - The kegel pump is like blowing a baloon. Reverse kegel, then contract the PC. Contracting the PC means that you close off the blood from leaving the penis. But you only do it for a short time, then reverse kegel again for a long time. Like when you fill a baloon - you push the air from your lungs into the baloon over a couple of seconds, then you close tight the opening of the baloon for a second while you quickly inhale, then again push air over a couple of seconds.
So do a set of the following:
1 reverse kegel for 4-10 seconds, then 1 regular kegel for 1-2 seconds (or do 2-3 quick regular kegels).
So you might feel like doing 5 sets of kegel pumps every 30 seconds over the course of 5 minutes.
Just go with whatever feels right.
If the pump starts to go away, do another set.

I read the first few pages, but if I'm doing this routine and nothing else, should I not be ejaculating on the same day? Can wern or anyone else help me with this? Cheers..

I also have a couple questions for wern concerning reverse kegels.
1. You described it as, instead of "holding your pee back", you should "push your pee out". But I had always heard that you should NEVER push when you pee. Is there any truth to this?
2. Is the reverse kegel = BC muscle?
3. Do you use the BC muscle when you crap? :mrgreen

okay, not an expert, but you got two ways to kegal. there's the kegal where you squeeze the muslces down there and make your penis jump and pump blood into it....and then there's the softer muscle at what feels like near the tip that hold back the piss.....newbies aren't very conditioned, so it's tough to feel that one at first and doesn't take clenching

i believe you have focus on both to truly last longer, because when you are close to ejaculation, your penis will involuntarily flutter otherwise.
after a few months of dedication, you should have strong enough muscles to stop ejeculation. at which point, you can edge and practice holding back at the moment of truth. right now, when i edge, my dick gets tired. at the 20 min. mark, after bringing myself to teh brink 5 or 6 times, i lose control.

When I'm alone I can do kegels just fine.
But when I'm jacking off or having sex, they don't seem to help me but actually make me go quicker maybe?
Anyhow, if I keep exercising and my muscle gets stronger, will it make me last longer without my trying?
I guess I'm asking if the stronger the muscle gets, will it take longer for you to feel like your gonna climax?

-you should NEVER push when you pee.
You probably shouldn't push hard when you actually urinate. I used that example in the article in an effort to communicate the difference between the two kegels.

It has been a long time since I looked up the PC/BC muscles, but BC muscle, from my memory is flexed when ejaculating, not crapping.

in a sense. But As you develope the muscle you can pin point the flexing to to a narrow range of muscles. It is more about trying to lift your dick than it is about clenching the butt, but for beginners, the "clenching the butt" way of looking at it will allow them to understand where this muscle is.

Not at all. You have to have willpower, as well as developed PC & BC muscles, to stop yourself from cumming, or to cum without ejaculation.

Hi Wern,
So in your basic routine when you say squeeze you actually mean squeeze as Kegle pump?
Like 1 squeeze = BC (trying to take a dump) and then immediately PC squeeze?
I'm not n00b at training PC muscle it' just that I don't quite understand how to add the BC muscle into your routine.
For instance what if I do 2 second holds like 1sec BC 1sec PC?
Btw 5x5sec squeeze is 25seconds but from 150-200 theres 50 seconds.....something wrong here?

Kegel Pump
The Kegel Pump serves two purposes:
1. engorge the penis greatly which increases erection girth during the erection!

Maybe I will get shouted down here, but I have always taken a reverse kegel to mean focusing on relaxing your BC muscle so that there is no involuntary flexing of it. Obviously thats different to (and not nearly as good as) what happened to iWantToLearn but it works for me and I now have great control.

I found this too! Sorry for this super noob question but after reading your thread what or how exactly do you do "kegel"? Does that mean I flex my penis muscle like whenever I am erected? And if so, i cant never reached your 4 minutes doing that because I often getweaken and stopped doing it :icon_rolleyes:

It takes time to strengthen the muscle before you can hold it for longer than a minute or so. It really does start off very weak, but the more you do the exercises, the more you will notice that you can hold it for longer and longer. I couldn't hold it for longer than about 20-25 seconds when I first started. Now after a few years I can hold for about 2 minutes and longer if I really tried. Just keep squeezing, and in time you will notice a difference.

Definitely you recognize the gains from that routine, but I have some worries and some technical things about the workout itself
1. Worries
-- Can I get shorter doing this because I really feel and look shorter, is it momentarily and fade away?or am I tucking it more and more in my pelvis
--Its harder to stretch now and easier to ejaculate as I feel I am pushing cum from my body into it
-- Does Kegeling while erect wrong? because sometimes I feel good pain while doing it and I am worried about the head
2. Workout questions
-- when you do a reverse Kegel does it feel like you are pushing poop out?
-- The Kegel Pump I tried edging with that and kinda felt like when I start with a reverse Kegel I push all the cum towards the head and and a normal Kegel would push it out further more with power. Please advise it seems I misunderstood something

In the picture below I am trying to suggest a technique I found useful to isolate the pc muscle from your butt muscles, lay down on your stomach and look at the bed back, pull you right knee to aim for your left side of the pc muscle and put one hand on your butt muscles to make sure they don't get clamped while you are kegeling.

How do you fit the reverse kegel into a workout? I was doing the suggested routine on page 1 for kegels, then I started doing the exact same routine a second time in the day, with reverse kegels. Is this too much for the reverses? Does both BC and PC muscles react to the same hold time, reps, etc?
PS: Sometimes, when I sneeze, my PC hurts :(
