I popped in a while back, lurked, asked a few questions, then got busy with life.
I've been back lurking a bit. Thought I'd say hi. As all noobs, I do have some questions, and as all noobs, I'm sure the answer is already out there, I just haven't read it. lol
So far, I've only had time/opportunity to 'work out' in the shower on the weekends. For about 2 weeks I did it both days, then I had to skip a week, now I only do it one of those days. Originally the thinking was, since it was my only time, I'd take advatnage of each day. I also didn't do a very good beginner routine. No stretches, jelqs that were too quick, etc. I did get the warm up and down though. lol But after re-reading the noob routine, and about overtraining, I thought it was better to not do both days in a row. And for about 2 weeks straight I've gotten a good (well, decent) work out in.
And either I was measuring wrong before, or the initial growth is explosive. I was at about 5.5" (avg) to 5.75" (on a good day) in length, and about 5.75" in girth. The unfortunate part is that it's rather conical. The widest part is at the base, where it's least useful. lol But now.... :o Going with BPEL, on a good day, I swear I'm seeing 6.25". Perahps a hair less, but if so, only a hair. And almost as surprising, I saw about the same in girth (still at the base though).
I'm trying to get something going during the week, even if it's only warmup/down and stretches. I figure that would be better than nothing. The problem is that I don't live alone, and I don't have any place I can conveniently go for privacy for as long as I would need, with any regularity. This is largely why the weekend has been my only chance (since I'm in the shower, have always been known for long showers (lazy and a daydreamer lol), and have time in the mornings then, unlike when I have to go to work).
Anyway.......... sorry for the rambling. lol
The last 2 weeks, the routine has been, water as warm as I could tolerate with no pain, from the handheld shower head set to "soft" (where it's basically just falling out), and I cup underneath to try to get a uniform heating. I estimate about 5 minutes. Then stretch (L/R/U/D/Out). Then 40 jelgs lasting about 3 seconds each. Then another warming. Then proceed with the rest of the shower to let the cool off happen more gradually.
Now, when I do the jelqs, I use an "ok" grip with the free hand to keep the blood from squirting out backwards. There's no pain, but I definitely feel something happening (stretching or whatnot).
Is that too "advanced"?
I ask because Sunday I noticed 2 red spots on the head that were never there before. Almost looked like blood blisters. Fortunately I haven't had time since then anyway, so I've been resting/recovering and they seem to be dissapating.
I'm guessing I should wait until they go away entirely? (don't want to let all the gains fade, but, don't want to risk damage either)
Wow, this turned into more of a novel than I intended, sorry. lol
