sexual health question here so...if you don't wanna hear it, please leave the thread.

I had a totally out of character day on tuesday or so, i masturbated twice in one day, i had open blisters on my hands from weightlifting and they felt a little rough but whatever, i usually tough through that sort of thing.

Anyway, the next day i look down and i notice that one side is "bigger" than the other, like the skin right under the glans was poofed out a little bit. I pressed on it...no pain...but i did feel something hard, almost like a chord...right under the glans and is about 1'' long im assuming...only one part of it is swollen but it feels like it probably wraps around the entire thing, its now 2-3 days later and it hasn't gone down...

what is this thing!?

Vericose vein? I read a few articles on such, some describe pain, some don't.

Maybe it was the twin brother you absorbed in the womb..

Hard? How hard?

Explain more, but just for the record we have lymph nodes which are there to help drain blood from the penis after an erection, these kinda go diagonally from the frenulum (part that attatches glans to shaft underneath) and wraps around and comes up ontop and down.
Sometimes these can get restricted (such as during holds, pe or heavy masturbation) and they may puff out momentarily or even for a day o few. (Mine used to all teh time and still do for some reason- first time it happened I nearly died, thought I`d done something really terrible to my meat, now that I have doen lots of damage to it I guess I`m used to it :? )
They are kinda like a spaghetti noodle or the shell of a bic biro, cordlike and when you press on it it may go down.

However, you can also get puffy skin (especially foreskin or skin closest to glans) after pe or heavy masturbation. It may loof longer (skin) or puffy and a bit deformed- this should generally pass in a day or two.

If it sounds like none of the above please elaborate. If you need to seea doctor then see a doctor, the amount of medical people who`ve pulled around, prodded and operated on my tackle.. well, LOTS. :x

So how is it now?

Don`t be silly- better to die.
Cancer is a deadly thing, I`d rather die than be operated on. You knwo that cancer victims usually end up with more cancer a year or less after operations to remove it right? No, nothing gets chopped off kid, that ain`t how one of ss soldiers goes.
Besides, that doesn`t sound like cancer.

ok im going to do my best to really diagram this thing....

Starting from that really sensitive fold of skin that goes up your penis on the underside, its almost at the top, it wraps all the way around running right under the wrinkled part of the skin right beneath the glans.

It is hard, not rock hard but definitly noticeable, and as i poke it here, it hurts, not as i poke it, but right after for a bit, in fact the entire thing seems to be a little sensitive to pain these past few days.

after coming to the top of my penis, if i stretch the skin really tight it sort of tapers off and starts running down the center, it sort of curves into the center, but that part isn't as swollen, i just see it leading up to there, not the entire thing.

The other side is completely fine...

did this help? Should i head to the doctor?

oh and soserious i agree, as soon as i read about amputation i said nuh uh, i'll gladly tell them to give me the lethal injection...what kind of life could you have without a penis...i mean i have enough of a problem feeling like a man being only 6 inches long, imagine not having one at ALL.

Vericose veins dont have to be dark.. well, they probably would be if they were close enough to the surface... thrombosis.

I've read a few posting regarding similar symptoms.

Google vericose penis.. I've read a bit.. I wouldn't be overly concerned, but be aware.. It may be best to find out what it is before jelqin the shit outta it.

I still say it's probably an in utero absorbed sibling. :P

Well, nuh uh is the right attitude. Stick by your guns.

Ok, to business,
This sounds to me from your description like a lymph node.
Often only one side will get swollen like that, and it can go on for days- or especially disapear and then reappear at such times as the morning following morning erections. Since it is evidently new to you I would suggest that there is pain (Mine hurt for a good week or two after it first happened to me). Also it goes down the penis but you will generally not see it visibly after he first maybe 2 inchs including its starting and dissapearing point (another reason it seems to be a lymph node).
Laying down tends to help it heal, or go down. Personally when mine poke up (like weekly soemtimes) I just wet my finger and press it flat starting from the glans and following it that next inch back on the end shaft moving towards the body. ) But in your case this will pobably be too painful and may not work since its new.

Suggestions;
Vitamin C 500mg a day
Vit e 400-800 iu (natural vit e only) a day
plenty water and healthy liquids and sensible food.
(To boost and speed up healing)
A visit to your doctor or GUM (Genitary Urinary medicine clinic)

If you feel t get worse or are worried about it go see doc or clinic.
If you just want to follow watchful waiting then give your body the right nutrients and wait a week or so more.

Thoughts?

Oh, and by the way a 6 inch length is comfortably man-sized.

i think thats a great idea, thanks for the good suggestions ill try all of that for sure before i go runnin to my dr....who has already had the pleasure of telling me i don't have testicular cancer at least 4 times (what can i say? im careful) i just don't want my friend cut off!

and 6 inches just doesn't fit when you're a 6'7 245 pound football player...its just...out of proportion haha.

Proportion I understand, but you`re not small so don`t beat yourself up too bad mr.

As for checking for test cancer, it`s a scary thing to think about. I had my nuts checked for that a few times (I developed a lump at age 20- turned out to be nothing) and as for the rest. well.) I was in a world of hurt with the fear. So i feel for you man cos I know what the worry is like. But it`s a good feeling to hear your ok huh.

Theres nothing wrong with getting medical checkups for your body, especially your pride and joy.

Let us know how you go from day to day and as I said, if it gets worse see your doc. But I think it`ll work itself out. However it may mean that you may find it happen again in the future, just shouldn`t be as painful or last as long.
Peace.

Sounds like a superficial varicose vein, similar to mine, in which case there's nothing to worry about and it only hurts because you won't stop touching it. But I am not a doctor, I haven't seen your dick and I am speaking from personal experience only.

So you definately MUST go to a doctor. Just suck it up and go. It's not worth the risk.
