I'm interested in the factor that the Tunica plays in gaining.
As some of you may know the Tunica Albuginea is a layer (layers) of connective tissue surrounding the Corpora Cavernosa. The Tunica gives an erect penis its rigidity.
So, share you knowledge, theories etc.

i love these kinds of threads. to me, yes a definite expansion of the tunica is a key role in girth gains. i have gained roughly .5 inches in girth and i think it was only possible through clamping and getting enough pressure on the tunica for it to expand and stay expanded.

I'm tempted to give clamping a go now. How's your clamping experiment going Mag?

not sure which one you are talking about. the flacid one or clamping as a whole? as far as clamping in general goes it works for erect girth. i will bet u $100 paypal that if you clamp for 3 months you will gain atleast .5 in erect girth.

.5'' in erect girth?! :D Is that from all-day clamping or just clamping for a short period during a PE workout?
btw, I strictly don't gamble :P

But what factor does the tunica play in lenght gains?Valk, after doing PE for all this time, I still have hardly any idea of the actual "mechanics" of what is taking place during PE. Sorry to be of no help whatsoever

Dude just a short period... start 1 week for 4 minute clamping. 2nd week go 2 3 minute clamping sessions. then by ur 3rd or 4th week do 2 4-5 minute clamping sessions every other day and keep going for 3 months. i give it the magnumxl garuntee girth gain.

There are lig gains and tunica gains for length as I understand the anatomy involved with stretching. This really starts getting LOT theory which is a lot more popular on other sites. I think LOT is pretty much bullshit, but I do think some of the supposedly Tunica focused stretches are good, like the A stretch.

Becareful though. Mag is right about clamping. Alot of my girth gain is thanks to clamping. But it can injure your penis very easily so becareful zeolite.

Very good point tmac. this is one of those exercises that puts extreme amounts of pressure on your penis. make sure your penis is conditioned and you have very good technique with pe exercises.

Priapism resulting in megalophallus due to a loss of elasticity in the tunica albuginea:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=10962334&dopt=Abstract
Priapism again, probably resulted in a length increase but note the girth
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=16422951&query_hl=6&itool=pubmed_docsum
Obviously nobody wants priapism, but clamping (and to a lesser degree holds) would do basically the same thing but with more control over how much bigger your penis gets, since you have control over the amount of time you spend in this increased state.

Hmmm interesting.
Here are some questions I have:
1) Lenght gains: You have lig gains and you have Erectile Tissue gains. The tunica surround the erectile tissue, so its a probability that the tunica is the limiting factor on girth gains. But what about lenght gains? How and where is the Tunica attached lenghtwise? (from pubic bone to the glans)
2) I also remember reading somewhere that the Tunica consists of several layers. Does anyone know something about that?
3) Does the Tunica get tougher and thicker during someone's PE career?

1) I wont comment on the guessmetrics, but the tunica albuginea surrounds each of the corpora cavernosa (Its important to note that it just means white covering and there is a thinner one around the corpus spongiosum as well as the testicles and in at least one other place in the body)
2) This website is definitely your friend http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=8976279&dopt=Abstract
3) No idea. If girth work has the same effect as priapism then we would lose elasticity.

Is there a way I can read the whole article?

If youre willing to part with some $. I saw a PDF from one of the articles on another site, but they are effectively stealing that information.

If you read those articles on megalophallus it does affect the normal erect functioning of the penis.

From that website:
. . . they insert into the inferior pubic ramus.
I'm offended. There is nothing inferior about my pubic ramus. :x
