How long has it taken you to gain one inch in length?
This could set realistic expectations to newbie PE'ers

.9 in about a year but that was super slacking i honestly beleive i could have gotten it in less then 6 months with methodical and consistent PE.

While that may be true theoretically, I think the reality that comes across in these forums is that motivation, or more importantly consistent committment, is a very important fatcor and a huge obstacle.

I need a "haven't gained an inch yet" option on the poll.
The "yet" implies that I will gain an inch eventually.

I had several significant breaks during that period. Maybe if I had not stopped, it could have been 2 or 3 or 6 inches

I think one of the exercises in our routines should go towards increasing commitment to PE. Like repeat to yourself "i love PE, I love my penis"

is this self-love or just another excuse to wank?

Has anyone actually bothered doing these postive affirmations? Not just for the cock, but in anything else, like 'I will be rich one day' yada yada
Just wondering if they worked well..

I personally haven't but there's a debate about whether they work considering our psyche. People have a tendency to mentally negate these statements that they repeat.
ie. I will be rich: No I won't.
The trick is to state your goal, then pronounce the steps you will take to accomplish this goal.

I've tried the visualization aspect to it: being a complete disaster at heading the ball in football, someone told me if I visualized it making contact with my head in the perfect spot it would help me avoid having my nose broken.

To achieve your goals you should meditate. It is far and away the best method.

I mean literally start meditating. I know a site with a free book about it. It's really good. The guy is an ex-celebrity turned buddhist studying to be a monk (or he was when I read the book. Maybe he is one now)

Well i guess with the affirmation, you visualize and keep beleiving it, it will happen. It's just one of those other routines you have to chuck in with the rest right...
Im going to get into image streaming instead

Image streaming and meditating go hand in hand, only image streaming is mean't to raise IQ. Do you meditate often?

I think the real key to motivation is to integrate it strongly with your everyday routine. The body and mind are resistant to change, so you can use that resistance to your advantage.
Its like when you work out consistently for a long period of time and then you stop. You get withdrawal symptoms - start feeling week, tired and sad.
What I do is I integrate my routine to my mornings. I warmup and kegel while brushing teeth and shaving. And I warm down and do half my stretches in the shower. Because I shower shave and brush teeth every morning before work, it is win win for me. Also allows me to comply with the 5 hour rule (as a never wank in the mornings before work).
Also, you get the PEing out of the way before you even start the day. nice.

i've just started doing my routine before work. I get up and jump in the shower, have my wash then start doing stretches with the water on my penis quite hot. then i leg it down to my room and do my 10 minutes of wet jelqs. saves so much time and plus it means i can see my girlfriend more in the week

What is image streaming and where can I find this link on meditation. I've tried to meditate, but I don't quite understand how to do it correctly. One sit says this and another says that.

that is a big problem with meditation. It is a process that is based on the school of buddhism from which it sprang. Since there are many schools of buddhism there are many meditation styles.
The best school of buddhism in my opinion is Theravada as it is the most extreme - basically it allows you to become a monk quickly. The reason that this is good is that the meditation process is very powerful, without any bullshit in it.
I have experienced things through meditation that makes the pleasure of sex seem like vomiting i n comparison.

This is the real shit! By the way, meditation should be the hardest thing you could ever do. If you become good at it, your whole life will be beneath you. you will be able to do ANYTHING!

It took me around 7 months to gain an inch, I hadnt gained anything for the whole time and you can imagine how happy I was to see the gains. Though now that I have been off PE for so long I fear that my gains have gone. Though remembering from peoples post old gains can be regained pretty quickly usually.

I meditate a lot. I do it lying down in my bed. I can usually get to a point where I forget about my body. I can make my body numb and even get close to an Outer body experience. I really want one of those.

What kind of experiences have you had, can they be described? I'm a little bit afraid/cautious to try meditation. Even though I am no longer Christian I have so many doctrines and scriptures in my head that tell me it is not beneficial for me to do this-these doctrines still seem to bother me.

SS read zwmusic's post on the male penis anatomy. I highlighted the sections talking about muscles in the penis. Maybe you can implement that into you mindset about PE since you have been bodybuilding most of your life.

I doesnt bother me that much. I know that PE works so I can always get the size back. But a big part of my smaller size has to do with me erections. They are not as hard as they used to be.

I Too was a Christian a long time ago, but meditation has been somthing Ive practiced even while I was Christian... I realised that my connection with the Universe ( and or the Creator...) was strong that even though "mans" doctrines/scriptures stated the words of God, I felt him, it , them ( whatever you want to call the Universe/Creator) Tell me what's life enriching for my mind and body. PE to me is a way to enhance my sex drive and give me an amazing tool to use, my second 'chakra' center is always on fire and that helps me meditate.
IF you feel that the Christaian doctrines are holding you back I suggest learning any form of "Applied Kinesiology" or the use of a "pendulum" to know what your body and mind wants. Look them up their are many pages online that will help you. Also, No! The Devil is not controling you. You control yourself!
Damn now everyone knows how I belive...

That comment was in response to Valk's post in which he stated that he has lost some of his gains due to weak erections. Kegel logically would strengthen your erections and restore the gains (assuming that's why he lost them).
