I think there are 2 types of tests in the UK. Ones just a plain old piss test and the other an 'umbrella' test which aparently they shuv som bit of metal in2 ur uretha (sp?), yknow, hole in your dick, and then scrape some skin from inside.

Ive never been tested and never had a scare. Over here you can get tested for free and no idea how long it takes to get the results.

Problem shared is a problem halved... do tell Bug.

I've done HIV test twice and also the freaking STD test (the umbrella like one, ouch!!!). The reason for the first HIV test was because that fucking bitch of my ex-wife didn't give me a break before I got tested for HIV when we first met. That's because I told her I had a girlfriend from NZ before I met her ( :? ), and she also wanted me to do the STD one as well (I really should have dumped the bitch at that stage). I was clean anyway.

The second HIV test was really because I had unsafe sex with someone I didn't know well. I was all right again, but that was a big fucking scare for me. Don't ever take chances Bug, even if you're drunk, low and lonely and want to fuck the chick you've just met real bad... always use condom. If you don't have any, don't go ahead - not worth the nightmare of doubts afterwards.

Yeah, had all those tests. Not comfortable but not that bad or anything (wasn`t an umbrella thing just a cotton stick swab thing, didn`t go in far) had HIV test too (No real reason just was offered it so took it) The only real BAD thing was the level of utter ignorance (dangeruos ignorance) of two nurses one time, I was that > < close to making a phone call and having them wasted I swear.
Other then that the waiting rooms are kinda boring.
Its like, you got all people from different walks of life just waiting together.
I been in a lot of STD GUM (genitary urinary medicine ) clinics, and never had an std/sti. (cos of my nuts, and injuries from pe, and one time a lump on one of my nuts but I got that checked at hospital while I was there for something else. They did like a scan on it like what pregnant women have withthat same gel stuff)

What are your concerns Kahuna?

I had a torsion which is where the testicle turns around, and they used that gel stuff to ultra sound my junk.

Yeah, it`s as painful as it sounds and 4 years later one stitch on my left nut still burns and hurts like FUCK. I try not to think about it since its a lifelong pain now and its MY NUTS!! It makes me extremley sad and actively suicidal when I let the pain make me think about it.

Try some vitamin E oil (not the lotion), put a drop on a bandaid and keep it there for at least 6 hours. Do this for a month and it should help with the scar. For the pain, just let me know how the vitamin E goes and get back to me later.

Nice advice but the scar is on the inside (I dunno if you know the procedure or not?)
Fucking thing is in a bad position so its always in contact with my inner thigh. Plus my dick always rests to the left on and over that area making it worse. Its the reason I dont stretch- even mild stretches make it worse, usually its between 2-5/10 on pain (6 right now) but when it gets to 9 or 10/10 ... man.. life SUX. feels like a searing hot frying pan is stuck to it 24/7.
People tell me I should get it re-operated on, but physically I dont think thats an option. I have only 1 scar where they cut into my nutsack and that is 1-2 cm and down the centre seam (as opposed to either side as some have as you may know). So yeah, the scar is the bonding scars that are puposely put there.

The only things I can that might work are as follows: green tea, Vitamin E capsules, L-arginine (of course), Vitamin C. I'd try the Vitamin E because it will soak through the skin and heal it, but what do I know? I'm a hippie son and vitamin E helped me when I ripped my frenum and for streatch marks. It's worth a shot at least.

It`s a big scar and its a big INTENDED scar. It catches cos it`s not totally flat, its more like a little flap of a scar so when it gets pulled or moved by everyday things like my leg moving against it and boy.. it hurts. Infact I have stomped on a lot of my trousers in a rage that are too close fitting and inflexible for me since that hurts just by itself.
I dunno where to get vitamin e from, Probably wouldn`t do squat for it since its physically not quite the sae thing (even if it heals 100% the very shape of it means it can get pulled again easily and it`s back to square one (as has happened since I was 20 in april 2001) I will look into getting hold of some and trying it anyway.
It cant be seen from the outside- only felt, so outwardly all looks ok. But inside it pains.

You can find the vitamin E at health food stores in two types, pure and mixed with a blend of flax and grape seed oil. The difference being that the mixed will flow faster, but for more bang for the buck, I'd go with the pure. You can expect to pay anywhere from 6 to 8 dollars American for it. BTW don't get fooled into thinking that the lotion is the same thing, you can take a table spoon on the oil and mix it with about 20 oz. of lotion and it would still be more than they put in the store bought vitamin E lotion.

Chris Rock did a hilarious skit on AIDS testing and waiting 2 weeks. Hes like :

They don't have to do the urethra swab anymore if you pony up another 15 bucks in the USA at least. They can test it all with a urine test, and bloodwork. Took me 4 days to get my results but it did cost me like 45 bucks.

Generally I prefer to make the girl get tested before I have sex with someone because I know I am clean.
