It seems I accidentally offended Valk yesterday, got a bit carried away with my comments (which weren't serious, just fooling around). It's just that I've used to argue with my friends like I did, and we never mean what we say... we just "insult" each other for fun. It's just fooling around... I think very highly about Valk and consider him my friend, and CC wouldn't be the same without him. My apologies, Valkie my friend! :D I thought Your sense of humor would filter my comments like they were meant to be filtered.

(but don't get Your hopes up about any spinchter-tearing anal action...)

I never intentionally offend anyone, not here or in "real life", so if anyone ever feels like I do then You're mistaken, it's never my intention. You can take that to the bank.

I'm good in reading people when talking to them face to face. I can read their facial impressions, voices, gestures... when talking to someone in person I know when to stop, wether he/she is interested or not... I can often also tell if someone is lying or not. I'm not just saying this, my ability has been confirmed in a test by a psychiatrist. It makes me a good listener and my role within my friends is always some kind of psychiatrist or listener, it just comes naturally... I don't need to tell people they can talk to me, they approach me with their problems automatically after they've spoken with me enough, gotten to know me. I'm really proud of my ability despite the fact that it's a big burden to always be the "listener". But if it helps my friends then I will do it, and I do.

But here where all I see from a person is text, reading the situation is much more difficult. What happened with Valk yesterday would never have happened if I'd have seen his face or heard his voice. I sometimes forget this and I'm somewhat blind here. I feel very bad for insulting Valk but I didn't mean it that way. Won't happen again.

So Valks never insulted anyone on this board? Everyone enjoys a good joke until theyre the butt of it, some just handle it better than others. Valks entitled to get a little angry, but I dont think you should be losing sleep over what you said.

Bobo

Yep, he's entitled to get angry, but really there was no reason for that because all I said was just joking around and I thought he knew it.

Valk

There is a point where that sort of jokes become disrespectful.
I dont have the kind of humour where I just keep laughing while other people make fun of me. I'm very playful here and in real life (thats probably why get along so great) but when I feel someone has crosses a certain line I stand up for myself.
It has happened the other way around too. I also made some jokes in the past which offended you, although that wasnt my intention.

That sort of things happen once in a while (especially on a internet forum) and it no big deal in my opinion. I'm not angry at you.

It is very difficult to portray sarcasm in text alone. Obviously when you have a face to face conversation, you have the ability to alter your tone of voice in order to assure that the listener is aware that you are not being serious. It's happened to me on many occasions that people get the wrong end of the stick from text. Hazard of the modern world I suppose. :neut:

Bobo

Yeah, that's what happened in this case: innocent sarcasm was taken personally. You, Valk, use lots of sarcasm around here and Your humorous posts make me laugh very often, and that's what misled me to thinking You were up to the "insult game". As I said, I do that very often with my friends (we're used to it and never take it seriously) and that old habit made me do it here too. I meant no harm. Sorry for insulting You, my friend. :puke:

Valk

Its okay.:D

It has happened to the both of us. (I remember you getting furious at me after calling you Leatherman:puke: )
Sometimes certain comments can hit a wrong nerve and offend us.
Nothing wrong with that if we can forgive and forget and continue to be friends.:P

(I remember you getting furious at me after calling you Leatherman:puke: )
   Yeah, I seem to remember something about that, but can't even remember anymore what it was all about. I'm not as sensitive as I was back then.

These things just happen, nothing we can do about it except try to be careful.

Bobo

Oh, and thanks for the neg rep. I deserved it. :x

Valk
30th September 2006, 02:04 PM
Yeah sorry, I did it in the spur of the moment.:puke:

But yeah, these things can happen and I dont think it has anything to do with humour.
We both have that teasing humour and I enjoy insulting people too.

Bobo
30th September 2006, 03:49 PM
Yeah, it was quite enjoyable!

Valk
30th September 2006, 04:06 PM
I bet it was, you meanie!

Bobo
30th September 2006, 04:08 PM
Yes it was, I've had an erection ever since and it doesn't want to go down!

Valk
30th September 2006, 04:10 PM
I'm sure Clockers would know a remedy for that.

Tight hotpants to reduce bloodflow?

Valk
30th September 2006, 04:14 PM
No, lick-lick-splash.:D

Bobo
30th September 2006, 04:16 PM
Swimming in cold water? Yes, that might work.

Valk
30th September 2006, 04:17 PM
Whatever you want to call it. Just lie down, close your eyes and Clocky will fix your problem.

Bobo
30th September 2006, 04:18 PM
Clocky? You mean time will take care of the problem? Ok, I'll just wait...

Valk
30th September 2006, 04:19 PM
But dont be surprised if you feel two strange hands on your dick. That would be your fellow CC member Clockers.

Bobo
30th September 2006, 04:21 PM
Well, I'd be VERY surprised because I'm all alone at home with my door locked, and Clockers lives on the other side of this planet.

Valk
30th September 2006, 04:25 PM
Well, I havent heard from him for a while so he could be anywhere.
I would go and inspect your house if I were you.

Hmmm, Clockers hasnt been here for almost 2 months.
Last time he was gone so long was because he was really depressed.
He didnt even replied my emails. I'm worried.:(

Bobo
30th September 2006, 04:26 PM
Two months? That's a long time... But I seem to remember him disappearing before too, for some surgical procedure he forgot to mention about. I'm sure he's ok.

Valk
30th September 2006, 04:29 PM
Was that the same time where also was depressed?
Maybe I'm confusing some things.

Bobo
30th September 2006, 04:31 PM
I don't seem to remember him being depressed, but I may have missed something during my absence.
