Very nice. Its the best I've heard from you. I especially like the extended outro. Great stuff. Although I still dont know if I like that synth. sound. I have to sleep on that.
So, where do you go from here? Do you plan to make music a living?

The synth is new for us too. But we're sort of listening to a lot of Grandaddy and Interpol and Elf Power. Some of these bands are considered "Space Rock" which has all kinds of weird spacy noises. I think it's working though. It's a style you have to listen for a bit to appreciate i think.
We're trying to get enough songs together to start playing in town. Then who knows what from there. I would love to do it for a living, but I'll always realize that it's a very tough industry. Just having fun right now doing what I love to do.
we used to play in town back in '97 but we had no real original stuff, so we did mosty covers. I definitely don't want to do that anymore.
thanks for the comments brotha!

Fortunately there's alot of ground between making it big (U2 style) and being a total disaster in the US, I think. Here in the Nipplelands the only way to make a decent living is to be a big commercial success.
In the bigger countries is different. If you can get your music out of town, so that you're not only know locally, it would be a big step forward.

Have you tried copying the link adress from the "high" button and opening it in Winamp? You have to edit the link a bit to make it work. (only the URL should stay.)

Spike, It should stream straight into iTunes. That's how it was created and that's how it plays for my Mac and my PC.....
You do use Mac, Right. No? oh lord.

Worked in MediaPlayer by pasting the link.
I'd leave it just as it is - until you get famous and a producer polishes it up.
That'd play on mainstream UK Radio - send it to Annie Nightingale at BBC Radio 1. :D

Hey, if U2's crappy album can sell 5 million copies, you sure as hell can!

now now, valk. It's not that crappy. you're just not into them anymore, or you never were. U2's music has become a spiritual thing for me, and although their new album hasn't caught my ear yet, i haven't really given it a chance. Some of the songs sound really good at first listen. But It's no joshua Tree that's for sure.
Plus, Half of U2's fans buy the album because it's a U2 Album. not because it's good. Bono is one of the coolest bastards alive.
Spike, is that her email? cool. :cool

Not exactly her email. but she seems to have veered off into dance/breakbeat - she pushed Death In Vegas alot earlier.
Anyway here's the Alt/Indie page. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/alt/

Don't get me started on U2. Or Bono, more specifically.
Self-righteous and arrogant - their music has all the depth of a packet of peanuts.
But your song wasn't too shabby, considering.

U2 wouldn't be so annoying if they stopped pretending that their music was so important.

Eh,
I like music. I even like Korn's first 2 albums, but I don't like them. they're idiots, but that doesn't stop me from listening to tunes I like.
And yes Bono and the rest of the bunch are arrogant as hell. but they've been arrogant for their entire lives, it's their personality. Sometimes that's what it takes to be big. If you'r not even a little bit cocky people will tear you down down before you even hit the stage.
I think we're probably speaking from different perspectives...so whatever.
Yo, thanks Clockers. :D

You don't need to be arrogant to 'make' it. Anyway...back to the topic at hand.

You don't need to be arrogant to 'make' it.
Agree. Arrogance is only an individual trait, what helps you to 'make' it is the right sort of contacts you make (in the right moment). Some 'big sharks' backing you up also helps.
Cocky motherfuckers are always crossing your path, regardless of any possibility you have to make it to the stage or not. They are like clothes moths.
