Apparently you were right my dad is asian and my mum is european and I was born in Thailand and currently living in NZ. How did you know? :shock: Even MagnumXL was confuse as he quoted "wtf?"

i was curious. Your english isn't great, you sorta type the way asians speak, and there is a relatively large migration of asians into new zealand at the moment. Also, from what I've read on PE, asians find it harder to gain with PE but they can still gain. so all those things about you prompted me to ask.

Well I'm 50% asian and english is my second language. I speak it fluently but sometimes can't be fucked writing it properly. Why do asian people have a disadvantage to gaining in PE??? Is it becuase of our diet?
Btw I've been in NZ for 16 years now.

Perhaps genetics is the reason that Asians seem to have a harder time gaining (remember, I am not sure that Asians in general have a harder time, it's just what I gather from my experience in the world of PE).

Wouldn't surprise me, there is a big genetic difference between the asian genetic structure and others. I forget what it is, some base protein or something that causes problems with alcohol consumption.

Im pretty sure that alcohol tolerance is due to an enzyme we developed since europeans have been drinking alcohol for something in the range of 10,000 years. Asians haven't. If you do something long enough you get better at it.

Yea, that's right it is an enzyme. There are other differences though, look at the incidence of heart disease and rate of cellular break down etc. It can't all be explained by diet.
