Trust me on this one guys, Gmail is the way forward, ive had an account for nearly 6 months now its fanfuckingtastic the way it works and everything. Plus the messages you get in the background on the GUI are funny as fuck.

You can delete. Perhaps it's more of a target focus to those who want to keep everything.

I've had gmail for 8 months or so and it's fine. I use Hotmail more though.

I've got a g-mail account but I never use it, in fact I'm not even sure if I can remember what the e-mail address is...

It's too much hassle to inform all the people who know my hotmail e-mail address that I'm changing to a g-mail account, plus since hotmails accounts now have 250mb that's more than enough for me. I only use like 5% of that so 1gb would be no more use to me.

Shouldn't the the question be, why wouldn't you need 1GB for e-mail?
Also, although there are text ads they don't interfere with your email, and I've never received ANY spam; I got spammed to hell with hotmail.

Why should that be the question? I only use about 5% of the 250mb I have on my hotmail account and I doubt this is suddenly going to skyrocket. I'd say the majority of people just don't have need of that much space in their inbox.

It's a start though, isn't it? You could also use FireFox instead of Internet Explorer. This one really makes sense because IE is considered relatively unsafe. I've been using FireFox for several months and it is good. Microsoft is hard to avoid but that still doesn't mean we can't try to.
